  • so this is an actually weed plant rappin? amazing!

  • Raw shit, these verses are better than most of his shit on his albums.

  • Have you notice how Real Mc's and real rappers that can actually rap are no longer gettin money in the new age? while on the other hand bullshyt idiots that cant even Rap for shit are eatin. its just unfair. it should be the other way around. i miss these days.

  • the only mc that gave bis the biz on a collab was G rap

  • yo can sum 1 name all of these songs so i can get all of them

  • @MasterofTwilight07 Hell - Pharoahe Monch, Fantastic 4 - DJ Clue, Desperados - The Firm, Making A Name for Ourselves - Common, 4321 - LL Cool J, Beasts From The East - Lost Boyz. As has been stated theyre probly the best verses on the tracks but I think Puns verse on Fantastic 4 deserves a mention cos that wicked too. Peace.

  • Infinity and beyond

  • I also think he owned it in black iz black as well

  • I also think owned it in black iz black as well

  • i discovered Canibus by mistake & he became the first mc to significantly impress me & blow my mind with his lyrics undeniably one of the greatest to ever think of picking up a microphone.

  • This guy is a monster, probably the most lyrical mc ever.

  • We want bis we want bis we want the rapper with the illest lyrics

  • i got chills when his verse from beast from the east came on. like this if the same happened to u.

  • Wow... Canibus is sooooo far ahead of his time... The ILLEST Rapper of all time... BAR NONE!!!!!!

  • i even think he did outshine rakim and kool g rap

  • Canibus will snatch your crown with your head still attached to it

  • Beasts from the east, Mathematically Aware and Desperados was just classic verses. Some of the best verses ever spit in my opinion. He ripped up ALOT of old Wu tang beats too. That material alone is a very good collection.

  • @upinposting Mathmatically aware?!?

  • @gtownsenda I presume he means the track with Common 'Making A Name For Ourselves'.

  • Canibus is the illest rapper alive Thank you for putting all this together I'll give this 10000 thumbs up if I had thumbs lol jk

  • who else raps about the shroud of turin? nuff said

  • @Oreillyisthebest Prince Ea does..listen to "Paranoid Chillin" feat Canibus, Presto, and Sick Since

  • shroud of turin... A relic, preserved at Turin since 1578, venerated as the winding sheet in which Christ's body was wrapped for burial. It bears the apparent imprint of the front and back of a human body as well as markings that correspond to the traditional stigmata. Scientific tests carried out in 1988 dated the shroud to the 13th–14th centuries

  • Canibus>Chuck Norris

  • I personally think Monch outdid him on Hell, but aside from that, yeah, Canibus completely murdered all of these tracks, especially Beasts from the East.

  • what to get fly and get electricfied and fried and get your mouth slashed dry, to much

  • @snapyafingas72 All the smart ones are always called crazy. Its ridiculous.

  • Fire.

  • GOAT!

  • NOTHING TO COMPARES TO CANIBUS

  • this is good...but they could got other canibus verses.

  • I keep waiting for somebody to find a way to highlight the amazing shit Canibus has dropped over the years - this is a good step toward it. When I listen to these verses, I literally feel embarrassed for other rappers, nobody else has that effect.

  • Thanks for putting this together bud.

  • @hellohiuhu You're welcome!

  • Serious shit... reminds me of Wu-Tang back in the day. Untouchable...

  • what song is that in the beggining, it says Hell but who's the Artist in the song?

  • @OPL21stJS It's a song by Pharoahe Monch off his album Internal Affairs

  • @MusicHardcorePoet thnxz.

  • fucking genius

  • heyo i feel like i'm one of the livest, one of hip hops finest, elite rhymers and i plan to graduate with honors...but one day we'll all be a bunch of old timers with alzheimers looking at our labels roster wondering how in the fuck they forgot us

  • In order to get the full effect of how potent these verses really are, you have to hear it with the other rappers so you can clearly hear the difference between their style and his superiority over it. But when you just hear his verses, it's not as impressive as it could be because their is nothing to compare it to.

  • what other MC's talk about Azazel?

  • damn ya'll, whatever happened to hip hop and REAL MC's?.... i miss this shit like a dead relative....

  • 6:37 - 9:10 was insane my gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaard!

  • @Mensah9 man that part was murder.. i wish ever person that hates or doesnt like canibus would listen to that verse word up. canibus best emcee by farrrrrrr..................

  • lol the "superior" mc's.big pun maybe but not the rest... definitely not az.or common. Nice video though

  • omgoodness @ 6:37 - 9:10

    what song is that???

  • @ilphil5 Beasts From The East

  • @ilphil5 anytime someone discovers it for the first time they're truly floored

  • Pharoahe Monch- Hell Instrumental. Fits perfectly.

  • "walk with three shadows"

damnit! you have to be "learned" or at least well read just to understand the subtext...smh.

  • Canibus, Chino Xl, and Crooked I need to collab

  • Word.

  • @r3ckroc They did on a song called Crooked I, Phathom, Chino XL & Canibus- Collateral Damage. Check my page for the track or youtube.

  • @yukmouth23jayrich23 Gud lookin g

  • Canibus is a bad ass motherfucker.

  • "but ima street fighter like Jean-Claude"""

Jean-Claude Van Damme - Played Colonel Guile in the Street fighter movie

  • Flow wise, Pharoahe Monch, Big Pun killed canibus, you got to look at it from all sides and pay close attention.

  • Damn! Canibus is definatly one the best emcees of all times!

  • what song is that at 3:55??

  • @aaron4801

    3. Making A Name Of Ourselves

  • HOYL SHIT!! is ther a mp3 download for these verses!!!!!!?!?!?!?!?

  • Dude is a beast.

I havent seen anybody fuckin wit him for years.

In my opinion, Papoose got him on that one track

but Canibus chose low status verses,

He can easily roast pap if necessary.

  • Papoose placed his greatest effort with Canibus' rap from a mixtape yet some people think it was real a collaboration. Canibus is still alive and rapping so if pap wanted a collabo, he should have asked. Seems like Pap tried protect his rep cos Canibus woulda swallowed him and spit out his bones.

  • Wait, so that wasnt a colab?

If true thats some real bitch shit.

    I know 'Bis wuda

heard how he tried to rip & murdered his verse.

  • FaAAAAAke collabo.

Check on youtube for "Canibus - Say It Ain't So" and see d track Pap JACKED from Canibus' mixtape titled "Mic Club Mixtape Master, Vol. 1"

  • The 1st one is "This is Hell" feat Pharao Monch.. from Pharao's classic 1st solo album

  • what song is the first one

  • 2nd round...

yo ima yet the world kno the truth

u dont want me to shrine

u study my rhymes and lay yo vocals after mine thats a bitch move

    something homo rapper would..

    i study ur backround

read the book that u wrote reaserched ur footnotes bout how u used to sniff coke

frontin like a drug free role model u disguest me

  • can anyone touch dude in his prime...

I have a feeling we haven't even seen his prime

  • he went from 1OO barz to 1,OOO barz to 1O,OOO barz wait til a million THEN you'll know hes halfway at his prime ;)

  • Big L.

  • i love me some big L,

and dude is a god on some battle tracks or freestyles.

but he lacks depth in other subjects.

still on my top 5 tho

  • @krillansavillan L raps about shit, Canibus doesn't, L is just a different MC.

  • Yea we have! prime came & went!

  • "I'm like AIDS cause dont nobody want it"

    Lyrical Genius...

  • "take evasive action, flip like reciprocal fractions"

    Game Over.

  • you forgot Uni-4orm, "I´m strong enough to grow a bullet faster than a gun can shoot it" that joint was ill

  • throw a bullet* ... huge difference

  • oh...that actually made it LESS sick

  • How?..."grow a bullet" doesn't even make sense.

  • "throw a bullet"

  • I know. I was responding to somebody elses comment who said that "grow a bullet" sounds iller than "throw a bullet".

  • it was also one of the best verses of alll time

  • his original 4 3 2 1 was his BEST verse noo doubt about it LL was justt jealous of it that pussy

  • Fucken hell.. His punch lines are fucken CRAZY.. DAM!

  • listen to his shit called Venomous Spit.

  • to me that desperado feature was the best...

  • Yup... he destroyed the whole Firm album on Desperados.

  • Beast from the East is the best rap verse ever!

  • Canibus has always been a high calibre emcee... he needs to go back to that '98 era..!

  • you hear the shit hes spitting now?

    its fucking unbelievable and inhuman

  • WHYYY!! IS THIS NOT ON THE DAMN RADIO and soulja boy is??

  • so....1 line who cares lol

  • is he serious?

  • he's serious b. lol

  • canibus bites all the time. he says "the," "if," "rhymes," all the words that lil cease sometimes says

  • thats a pretty serious allegation, ill be looking into this

  • man... he was clowning and u took it seriously

  • ugh youre an idiot, i was clearly joking

  • What song and what year?

  • SUCH a sick verse from Bis on Desperados, especially seeing as AZ, Nas, Foxy Brown and Nature spit some fire as well....

  • emcees be steppin to me/ but i wipe them all out like booty...ha...ahaha...hahahaha....ahhhhhhhh thats priceless

  • real hip hop always been uderground....rip the best emcee alive. he so cold i'm scared he go die or get shot or something. the good be dying to young but wack niggaz live wayne still alive.

  • hip hop aint dead it just lives underground

  • that line was hot "im a street fighter like john clard".

  • jean claude i believe he said but "who the hell wanna battle? the ill mathematical my mother fucking brain is IBM compatible" is a dope line

  • Its official. My laptop is on fire. Thanks a lot, Canibus!

  • Canibus shitted on EVERYONE he spit with.. including NAS BigPun Meth and Red beat ll cool j in a colabo and a battle, outshinned DMX at the 30 min freestyle (we wont mention nore) Ras Kass Papoose (desp 2 wont count because he wasnt allowed to rewrite.. why you think they did it again in the first place) Rakim is the only one that held his own against canibus at his prime..

Canibus has been outshinned by chino xl on i wish you would because hes on some goth emo shit these days with pl infinity

  • Ras Kass killed Canibus on Horsementality, hands down. And Kool G Rap was better on Allied Meta-Forces.

  • yea i agree with that, but if u saw that wake up show shit canibus killed ras kass

  • Do you mean that shit with krondon? In my opinion Ras killed it as well, just look how amazed Canibus is when Ras is spittin

  • eeeh thats only my opinion doe, i think canibus killed it

  • aight

  • LOL dude Bis killed it and he had the disadvantage of going first, Rass didn't sound that good AT ALL compared to Bis' verse on the wake up show.

  • Well that's your opinion. But if Ras wasn't that good, why was Bis so amazed by his verse? I believe Bis' opinion about what's sick and what's not is relevant. I believe that too, Ras was fuckin ill.

  • When did I say Ras isn't good?

Please re-read my comment, I said 'compared to' , yes he is good, but his rhyme schemes and the way his verse was written wasn't as good as bis', the whole freestyle went down hill after bis started rapping, not saying the other guys are bad(well krondon is lol) but comparing to bis' verse...not even close!

  • after bis finished rappin**

  • I agree with you about krondon, but in my opinion ras did kill it. Anyway everybody has his own view and I respect yours, cause Canibus was ill, too.

  • yeah that's why i cant fuck with canibus anymore. he was better in the mid to late 90s. actually mic club was his last album on his level. and rip the jacker was the that i could tolerate haha. that's my humble opinion

  • Canibus is better than all the emcee's he has ever collabarated with if you look at it lyrically, the dude is fucking insane i think he's from another planet

  • on "desperados 2" nature nas and cannibus were better than AZ in my oppinion.

  • AZ's verse was flames no doubt but Canibus scorthced dat song

  • Big Pun On Fantastic Four Is Debatable but everything else no brainer

  • U prolly neva heard a Canibus single b4. Em n LL got u fooled cos right now u must think Canibus is weak MC.

Canibus on his own is nothin' but a monster, there4 puttin' him wit' other people just makes him a killA. Dat's somethin' rappers had 2 understand n dats y u can't see any1 featurin' Canibus anymore. He is 2 lyrical/raw 2 b on a song wit'.

  • yeah canibus iz tha truth 4real I waz listen'in since he waz on clue 60 minute tapes I think thatz when I started writing sick..

  • I think he did the best on Beasts From The East. How he get away with rappin that much, embarrassed them niggas lol. Second best would be Making A Name of Ourselves and Fantastic Four. I dont think he beat Big Pun on Fantastic Four though, just different style.

  • Too goddamn sick.

  • Easily the best lyricist in the rap game. Above ground...and underground!

  • Canibus is the greatest mc of all time

  • canibus is such a lyrical monster

  • canibus is a monster

  • anyways real talk, some of this shit is so great it makes ya just wanna cry!!! wtf happened

  • I never liked "Hell" but these rest of these are some of the best hip hop verses of all time.

  • Common & Canibus "Makin' a name for ourselves" Canibus totally outshined Common, and Common acctually said the he wished he would had re-wroted the entire song.

  • i love u canibus........bounce212......

  • STILL ONE OF MY FAVORITE RAPPERS

  • Canibus was nicer back in the late 90's and the very early 00's. But he is still ill today. He's just much harder to appreciate to the average fan. his beast are terrible tho, and that makes him much more difficult to listen to and enjoy. He uses terms and words that most people aren't familar with. His refrences are way over a lot of heads. Again, he isn't as good as he used to be, but still good.

  • Well I would have to say that he is better now than he was in the 90's. Beasts from the East was a good verse. But then that 4,3,2,1 and that Desperados verses werent that good even by the average fairly nice MC standard.

And he had lyrics in Can-I-Bus but they dont measure up to anything he spits now. If I bought Can-I-Bus back then I woulda thought he couldnt touch people like Nas, most of Wu-Tang, Mobb Deep, Redman, KRS, Rakim and other established lyricists.

    Now he surpasses them!

  • Wow, I don't know about that.I though that he was good on 4321 and Desperados. Not his best, but still better than most emcees. And lets not forget all of his radio freestyles,Buckingham Palace and that song Mathematically Aware with Common.I think that he was way nicer than all of those guys you named back then. Now his flow isn't as smooth,he doesn't really have the battle lines any more, his bar format is more basic, overall he is still good, but past his prime.

  • Maybe he is past his prime. His prime was somewhere between 00-03. He had 2000 B.C. (which was in the 00's not the 90's, also when he was in his punchline prime). Then there is Mic Club and Rip the Jacker which were both about on the same level. Mic Club had lots of scientific and technical jargon to fill out the entirety of all those 100 bar verses but it never gets boring. Rip the Jacker is arguably illmatic level lyrics because it's like a Mic Club with shorter verses and better beats.

  • 2000 bc was in 1999. canibus prime was from 1998 2003. hes still nice as fuck tho. best rapper lyrically ever.

  • 1997 should be there too, making a name for ourselves, beaats from the east, and the 50 mcs freestyle he killed

  • 96 should be there remember Music makes me high remix with the lost boyz and dogg pound and the battle he had with wu tang

  • nah I gotta disagree with u on what u said bout canibus not being able to touch nas, rakim, mobb deep, most of the wu,& krs one in the 90s and u said his 4,3,2,1 & desperados verse wasn't that good wtf are we listening to he same lyrics here buddy Can-I-Bus was good to me lyrically production wasn't that bad as people make it out to be but come on he outshined the other mcs you listed any ways during the 90s and bout the wu the only ones he might have trouble with is gza, deck, and ghost but he'd win

  • there is more to rap than just lyricism. Production, appeal, artist compatibility, flow, etc..etc..

Even so, there are also many points in lyricism. It depends on what your looking for. Metaphors, a deeper message, savage verbs, consistancy...and more

so you cant really allow people that dwell in different areas of rap.

  • thing about Canibus is... no question he's a great, great MC. but if he's so damn smart....... why can't he pick a fucking beat??!

  • holy shit, i think the same shit!

Stoupe and Canibus make VERY good shit together, RIp the Jacker is one of my fav albums of all time check it if u havent, the production n lyricism is perfect

  • I feel you on that...Bis' is one of my all time faves, but his ear for beats is terrible. Intelligence has nothing to do with it though...he just doesn't have that sense...same with Nas...he's one of my other faves, and his ear for beats can/have been terrible at times.

Rip the Jacker worked since 'Bis had no input with the production, since all he did was record the verses, and Stoupe modeled the beats around them...'Bis should just do that from now on...let the producers do the beats...

  • That's what I always say. Just give the effing tapes to Stoupe and don't disturb him. Haha.

  • canibus used to love you til you became a wack nigga

  • LOL

  • how can you say canibus fell off???

Shit...i think every rapper got together and decided not to fuck with bis. Look at what he did to any track he got on

  • ^ Word! That comment from gtg309v was killin me. I nearly rolled on the floor laughin. Bahhhhhhhhhhahahahahahaha!!!

Anyone who says Bis fell off obviously got too tired tryna decipher what the fuck Bis is sayin. Lazy-ass, couch-potato type niggaz!

  • You did like a small collaboration tribute to the GREATEST MC OFF ALL TIME LITERALLY [CANIBUS] and i couldn't agree with you more when you said that he murders everybody he has ever collaborated with so far and he always have and most definitely always will forever, you feel me?

  • Everyone aprt from the 18th letter but that's just basic :P

  • BEAST FROM DA EAST VERSE! A CLASSIC!

  • fuck u faggot canibus is the best

  • Oooooo, Canibus' verse on The Fantastic 4 was illlllll
