Not only are they not doing anything to stop the crops from growing, they're also protecting the crops! The whole invasion was a big drug deal, that's all.
@cattomjak I agree. if the people who use the drugs in Russia (anywhere else) are killed, there is no more drug problem there. Dead people never use drugs. We don't need to go to other countries to eradicate anything. If there is no market for it, then planting it is reduced to only local consumption & no exports.
