I think this and Making it Hard are the weakest songs on Silver Spoons and Broken Bones. Everything else is awesome. They are much superior to Hot Leg. Not even a question. They're better than the Darkness in many ways too.

I think its very telling now that the two brothers have split, what they wanted out of the band. Justin wants to be a glam rocker, screaming from the top of his lungs and playing mad riffs, while Dan wanted a more slick and plolished rock/metal band - which what he has made the Stone Gods. Whatever their differences were, they have both come out with awesome bands as a result

He put an "Robot" on the band that plays a lot of notes by second and has no feeling.

Anyway, i miss the classics riff's of Dan togheter with the voice and killer solos of Justin. They were so fun and genius at same time.

One is nothing without the other. I really appreciate Stone Gods, but The Darkness must come back someday.

Listen to the guitar work on both "Silver Spoons" and "Red Light Fever" and tell me which one features the better guitars and leads. It's ain't Dan's band, it's Justins.

Dan wrote the majority of TD's music. He does all the hard work for each song and Justin finishes it off with leads. Dans leads in SS&BB have more class, power and precision. Justins are awesome with Hot Leg too, but sound very much the same in most songs.

The singer sounds Irish, he is good but doesn't fit the feeling I had planned for this band. The songs from Hot Leg I like more cus they keep the ridiculousness that the Darkness had and that crazy falsetto voice. Although Dan did write some of the best riffs and solos in the Darkness. Dan is a better guitarist than Justin because he is more experimental and takes over the entire (Justin usually focuses on one particular spot but does it amazingly) but Justin himself is an amazing guitarist.
