This advert brings tears to my eyes! The scarecrow loses everything and is all alone, but someone comes and helps him and he gets his life back, and he's happy again! Oh my god I'm crying writing this!
This is one of the most beautifully made adverts telly has ever seen. Not only by how it's shot, but the specially composed score makes it almost cinematic. The 90 second version on the makers website is in fantastic quality to listen to the audio.
Deserves much more praise than it recieved. Shame...
I think it was leigh marling who did this ad. Its a great one this guy has come out with tonnes of good adverts. He'a a close friend aswell. Taught me a lot about creativity.
you know im dam glad my scarecrows dont do that or id be gettin the chills, lol im often working and moving along and forget that im nearing a scarecrow and then i stand up and stretch next to the scarcrow, golly that scares me our of my skin
This advert is like my favourite out of all the adverts!!!! lol i like the bit where he does all the acrobats....imagine being the stunt man for that lmao.
I always say that this looks like my dad. Even taught my neice Sophie to point at this ad when it comes on the tele and say "its grandad scarecrow" lol :)
That is the most badass scarecrow. They should make a film where he like fights terrorists and stuff.

I love this advert. I was always annoyed when they replaced it with that guy going "THA WEA BIX WEEK" I bet he's not even Northern!

Good commercial. Occasionally the UK advertising industry does an ok job, like the old days.

Well I know I am not made out of straw, nor wheat, so that question at the end really doesn't say you should eat weetabix. I am offended.

That has to be the scariest thing I've ever seen. Look at its face at 00:28...
... now imagine that tapping at your bedroom window in the night.

Aren't the small birds at the end that he lets sit on him more likely to eat grain than the crows, which eat carrion?
I remember seeing this in the cinema. Weetabix seem to do a lot of good adverts. Tastes good, too.
