These F7Pg are chinese copy of russian Mig21,we have lost more than 30 such A/cs plus 9 pilots from the rank of F/O to A/Cdr,yes I mean Qadri who shoot down 2 Su 22 with F16.
@shamidfdg They're not copies, they're license produced chinese versions of the MiG21. China acquired production technology & expertise from the USSR at some point in history and production began in China. The Soviets stopped collaboration after relations soured, but by then it was too late and the Chinese were already mass producing them and eventually improved upon the original. This is how the Chinese military usually works. They get hold of tried, tested and proven technologies, & improve.
@haider5555 It's not difficult. PAF planes use Martin Baker 0-0 seats. They can eject you at zero speed zero altitude. Injuries almost always happen during any kind ejection due to the thrust from the rocket boosters that clear the seat from the plane. Spinal injuries may be expected during ejection because of compression, therefore precautions are always taken and the pilot is only cleared after a medical examination. Most fit pilots usually walk away to return to active duty soon.

The thrust was not working at first . when the pilot ejected then aircraft accelerated. The camera man is lucky if the jet didn't accelerated it will fall right over camera man
i saw this video 2 years ago,my brother in law showed it to me.he is pilot in PAF,he was flying officer at that, now he is FLT LT.back then he was flying F7 too in mianwali.he know this pilot very well, might be his friend, but didnt share much info about him,but he said the pilot got fractured leg,the interesting thing is that plane was full with canon ammunition ,and all the bullets just went into the ground.or else it could have been much deadly.
@mkg00179504 Nothing happens to the cannon in the event of crash, the magazine gets thrown clear of the aircraft. Fuel is the biggest danger, and here the fireball died down pretty quickly, meaning the plane was carrying minimal fuel.
Now, thats an extremely rare video, I guess...Did you film it yourself ? Now, I really wish I could find similiar personal videos of F-16 kills in Afghan War and the recent Dec 14 2008 interception of Su-30's and Mirage-2000 by our F-16's...I wish I could find some more persoanl videos like these...Thanx for sharing...

its was a bird strike incident, a bird went into the engine and the thrust was lost.

The pilot survived.
Unfortunately about 10 people were killed on the ground.

I saw a situation like this live in the 90's when a SAAB JAS 39 Gripen pilot ejected over central Stockholm during an ill advised air show.
It was a miracle nobody was killed
