It’s a tough world out there. If you ask me, I couldn't ask for more, teach myself to be grateful (although deep inside us, all of us want more, it’s never enough), Just work more regardless where you work or what you do, and if god wants to give something to deserve, you shall get it. I rest my further comments and wish & hope the best is to come for you flyfishr100
CSC continues to treat its' employees like garbage while only caring about the bottom line. All employees at CSC's largest account were told they could not take vacation or sick days unless they made them up. After that they cut everyone's pay by a week to make Wall street happy. As long as they continue to do these things, good people will leave and the only remaining employees will be those nobody else wants. I worked there for 4 years and never once heard about the customer's needs over CSC!
@flyfishr100 -Dude... Easy man, maybe it's just not a place for you and/or maybe you deserve better. Maybe you got to do a little self check, maybe not... I don't know really... Every office had their so called "politics" and...to my books & to be completely honest, it’s based on individuals, people come people go, some stay longer than the others, some doesn't, some stay there for ages some doesn't.
Yeah good job csc on outsourcing call centres to india.. who we hardly understand.. losing sears and soon losing DnB... Montreal has a high turn over rate.. unsatisfied employees and clients are getting the hang of it.. customer service is number one only when when employees are treated number...
Actually, the model of constantly replenishing staff wasn't created by CSC. Check out the attrition rate at GM, IBM, or even McDonald's. And having "your dad" work at CSC doesn't make YOU any kind of expert. This is a PROMO VIDEO, meant to send a single, biased message. And yes, of COURSE it is driven by financial results - have you noticed? This is a PUBLICLY held company operating in a capitalist economy. If it weren't financially driven, we'd call it something else... a charity.
lol that sounds like a whole lot of crap, and i should know, my dad works at CSC, and it says about 1 thing that he has actually done SAP, something he is always happening to fix, lol
Ha! Ha! Ha! If you really want to learn about job satisfaction and career prospects at CSC, search the web for opinions. This is a mercenary company that is totally driven by financial results, sucking in once happy smaller companies to get market share and messes up with its people time and time again. Characteristics of a company like this is that it loses its quality employees only to retain staff ultimately that no one else wants, and can only get the staff back by constantly acquiring.
