Watching a burly dude like him playing a character who's a badass tool with his alpha friends trying to branch out and mature to win someone's heart is actually really cool. Vin might not be the best actor to have ever walked the earth but you can't deny he wrote and directed a fine movie here.

These clips are only the romantic bits of the movie. The best scene by far is when he's telling off his idiot friends at the end because he wants more out of life than they're shooting for. The writing and Vin's acting in that scene are emotionally riveting and compellingly raw. It's worth seeing just for that performance alone...
