Technically a probability drive could work by merging with quantumn mechnics and reconstituting it's self from the quantumn field or quantumn foam. It could pass through Tetrations of magnitude, Pentations of magnitude or Hexations of magnitude chances and drive this way. Something to think about.
lol the bit where it says about them thinking the universe was sneezed is part of my RE hw and I have to write about what point i think it was trying to make :PP
@BecomeMyNewCat well i suppose when you put it that way....i find a lot of things that are odd very funny
like many botched kills in the show dexter...so to each is own i say....and sorry for my comment....i just was amazed at how dull i took the movie is all, and raged about it...ah oh well
i refuse to beleive anyone actually likes this movie....i think people like it because other like it....the movie has a few interesting satires of real life...but all the other failed humor is painfull to sit through..
@furiousfuryan ? what do you mean? the movie blows big time....how can u not see how this is better than the book which is good...this movie is total crap
You know, so many people are saying that this movie didn't follow the book. So? Does that really matter? I like to think of it as just another adventure had by the characters, or maybe an adaption. As long as it's funny and enjoyable, why should we care?
@PhantomKirbyKid Considering that Adams himself worked on the screenplay, he probably had the exact same thought and just decided to have fun with the whole thing for the hell of it.
You also got to be amazed at how goofy the fact he has dozens of little legs with little feet under his torso yet he still manages to be very sinister. I think that is the soul of The Hitchhiker's Guide universe; seriously goofy, or Goofily serious, a universe that is daft and silly and taken utterly seriously.
God bless Stephen Fry for narrating the movie. I'm sure Peter Jones would have done it if he was still alive at the time. I thought Stephens interpretation was excellent!
@Qbro618 apparently the babble fish doesn't work on beings that dont have a formal language. see the book "the restaurant at the end of the universe for more detail.
*Claps* XD Even as a die-hard fan of the book, the television series and radio series, I can't help but love this. The whole development of the Humma Kavula thing is absolutely brilliant :D
@BandGirl34 it IS mentioned in the books. i remember clearly reading the part of the god that sneezed the universe into existence, and 'we raise our unblown noses' is a line i remember as well. yeah, the humma dude is new, but he was put in there by adams himself. stop fussing!
@BandGirl34 actually, correction: this they actually took from when they are at 'the restaurant at the end of the universe'. these ppl are introduced then, cuz there is a group of them in the restaurant. they just made zaphod and troop land on their planet before magaretha (sp?), is all. got some of the lines from there.
BUT. Does anyone know if Is it possible to continually defeat the illuminati, by stop watching their movies? Or are the movies signs...or tools or merely to see what we think about or do they transfer their plan to us?
Maybe ....gahhh this is so confusing.
There should be a Shaman or tribal major or some masterminded energy person.
