  • I converted the Guillows "flying machine" into rc. I used a 5 gram bl motor, but that made the model just barely clinging on to it`s flying altitude, so i tried mounting a 7 gram motor without too much happening to it`s performance. And finally after trials, mounted a 10 gram b.l. motor (hextronix) and a Corona RS 410 II receiver along with a turnigy 6amp esc from Turnigy. Battery is 240 or 350 mAh 2 cell. Two 2 gram servo`s for rudd/ele contrl. Great performance and lot`s of fun flying! :-)

  • i know this guy, it doesnt fly, just a conversation piece, looks cool.

  • i just finished mine and had a couple good flights. Will have the conversion video and some flight videos up real soon!

  • Very cool video!! Did you make the motor electric as well? would love to see it fly, cool video again!! Joseph T fly2000jtb

  • Answer the darn question...does it fly?

  • @ib422000 No. He's using the Parkzone Vapor motor which isn't powerful enough to fly one of these Guillows; he needs to drop the P-51 motor in it. Had the same problem when I was putting mine together. Check out my videos if you want to see one that flys.

  • @bfaulguy i actually followed your idea but i used the sukhoi motor and gear box.

  • nice, but does it fly?

  • It's the parts from a parkzone micro model. Around $70 for the electronics assuming you have a transmitter

  • that's the coolest thing I've ever seen

  • does it fly

  • how does it fly????

  • Hey! You used a brick. That's cheating!

  • how much did the parts cost? how does it fly?
