You may also wish to note the fact that a huge majority of American Jews voted for Obama, and that mainstream Jewish opinion in America is still very much for Obama according to recent polls. We as American Jews stand up for America and our country first. Please type in J street on wikipedia. This sort of organisation is increasily representing Jewish opinion and this individual Shoebat certainly does not speak for the majority of Jews except for a fringe group
Hello Sir, I am confused, are you saying that listening to Shoebat is not enough, that the lunacy in what he says is not intrinsic and self-evident? To be honest, there is so much laughable and wholly ridiculously insane comments that come out of his mouth that I have a hard time believing anyone could take it seriously. Let's start off with bringing down one of his premises. President Obama is not a Muslim nor has he ever been. This is a fact evident to all but a fringe group of people.
To answer your post, I did take the time to look through youtube. Obama has never stated he is a Muslim, why? Because he isn't one. For people to say 'He is a Muslim because his middle name is Hussein' is like saying 'Her name is Marilyn so she slept with JFK.' Obama has decided to finally reach out to the Muslim world, to improve America's image in the world and I applaud the President for this.
1) Testimony: Obama never was a Muslim so he doesn't have to give a testimony!!! The fallacy in the logic is so obvious.
2) Why shouldn't he be complimentary to Islam? is there something wrong with that? Why does this prove he is a Muslim? I as a secular son of a Jewish mother and Christian father compliment other religions all the time.
3) Is it a crime to be critical of the Bible??
4) He doesn't want to establish a Sharia welfare system, this is baloney
@AgentCrane Fair enough. His speech to Cairo is available online. I appreciate your level of tolerance as does all of Islam. In regards to Islam, I'll continue to go with the ex PLO Terrorist Walid Shoebat, Ex-Muslims Nonie Darwish, Mosab Yousef, Lebanese Brigitte Gabriel, and a host of others. For any others who might be reading this exchange in the future, please search "Obama Admits He Is A Muslim", or read or view his Speech in Cairo and Turkey. Thank you.
Yes I loved his Cairo Speech, it was breathtaking and refreshing and it is exactly the kind of speech necessary to repair the relations between USA and the Muslim world. In regards to Islam, I will not listen to the bigoted, crazed Christian fundamentalist opinions of Walid Shoebat, Brigitte Gabriel, Nonie Darwish and other far right hate mongerers. For others who might be reading this exchange please do not be fooled by their words
Furthermore, there is a point which I find disturbing...Even if Barack Obama were a Muslim, why because of this reason should he not be allowed to be President? As Colin Powell said, is there something wrong with that? 'No, that's not America.' Why should the religion of the President be of any significance whatsoever? Why can't we have a Jewish, or a Hindu, or a Buddhist or an atheist President?
Because he is a wolf in sheeps clothing. He says hes a Christian. But the church he goes to is a "Black Liberation Theology" church not a real christian church. These guys believe Jesus was black and white people are dedscendants of Esau. White people are the Devil. This is not JESUS!!! This is EVIL!!!
The fact is Islam is a threat to our National security & we dont need a President with any ties to Islam, muslim or not. We wouldnt elect a Communist during the cold war.
I have no problem with a black liberation theology Church, I ultimately respect and admire them for organising and being able to create a system which has allowed the black community to stand up and begin to repair itself following historical injustices. Islam is not a threat to our national security - FACT. I do want a President who is intelligent, smart, articulate and who understand world affairs and is a rational person. God Bless Obama, I am so glad he passed his healthcare bill
@AgentCrane Really Islam is not a threat to our National Security. Oh we just tightened up our Airport security so little OLD LADIES dont blow up buildings. GIVE ME A BREAK!!!
Islam is an entire religion. I don't hold Islam responsible for the actions of a small number of extremists any more than I hold Judaism responsible for the actions of Israel or the extremist settlers on the West Bank or anymore than I hold Christianity responsible for the repulsions known as Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson, people who murder abortion doctors etc.
@AgentCrane He specifically chose a "Black Liberation Theology" church because this is a religous gray area & not devisive. Islam sees this type of christianity as true christianity in accordance to Islam. And the average Christian just thought it was another christian church. This was a very calculated move.
64 MILLION Americans voted for our current President. If you understand democracy, then you must accept the outcome of this result and respect that in a democracy the will of the people will ultimately win. Now whilst I'm sure that noone on this particular message board voted for President Obama, he is your President and you cannot delegitimise him no matter how much you try.
@AgentCrane Yeah more than 64million oppose his health care bill. The only reason this guy won the Presidency was due to his vagueness on devisive topics. He voted "Present" instead of yes or no so we wouldnt know who he is. He wanted votes from both sides. He in a sense left the american people with a blank canvass to project our own image of Obama not the truth.
And then there is the black vote. Of course they are going to vote for him, after all this was history in the making.
Well among that '64 million' are people who oppose it because they believe it doesn't go far enough, as do I. I support it in principle but feel it still has a long way to go before we can have universal single payer health care in this country as other civilised western countries do such as Canada, UK, Sweden, France, Germany, Norway, Denmark, Spain, Italy, Greece...... I knew all about Obama's positions before he became President and his voting record was quite clear. His articulate stances
on the real important issues were enough to certainly convince the majority of the country. On the other hand, Palin's 'Can see Russia from my house' and her religious fundamentalism were not particularly a turn on to the majority of reasonable voters.
@AgentCrane Oh so all those thousands of people Protesting outside the Capital, A large portion of those guyswere opposed it because it didnt go far enough???
How can you support a bill that will take you a month to read? How do you know whats in it? What happened to writing a bill on the floor with other congressmen and senators. This was clearly not the case, considering it is thousands of pages long. This bill was written prior to Obama'. He just happens to be the one that shoves it down our throats.
Just think about it! Where does this stuff come from? " Oh, I wrote a new health care bill, just finished the 10,000th page last night." WHATEVER!
That is a fundamentalist strict interpretation of the matter. A baby is neither Muslim, Christian, nor anything. A baby doesn't have the capacity to think or understand religion

You don't believe Obama is a Muslim because people on youtube say his middle name means he is a Muslim? What was said of Obama in this video?
Walid talks on the following.
1. Where is his testimony
2. He is nothing but complimentary to Islam
3. He is critical of the Bible
4 He wants to establish Sharia welfare system.
No where is there juvenile accusations.
