  • That was truly one of the best made vids I've seen so far on YouTube. Nice job!! 5 stars!! ^_^ btw, nice special effects. :-D

  • Nice and unexpected!

  • Hey man...nice job. I like the twist at the end, that was definitely a cool touch.

  • Thanks! All the credit for the story goes to the scriptwriter, he did a fantastic job :)

  • Well in general it was decent, but I liked the realization of the ending. Who did the 3D for it?

  • A friend and fellow video forum admin in the UK

  • Oh nice. I think I've seen that site before...you've written tutorials for them before? Cool stuff.

  • Yep, it's a great family community there, we've helped each other out on projects so much.

  • Nice. Kinda like STWYK used to be like. I haven't been around there in a while...so wrapped up in school I haven't been much of anywhere in a while. But that's cool man. Good to have connections like that.

  • Excellent editing and cinematography. The sound editing was very professional. Great job.

My only annoyances were quite minor, such as:

The signing of legal document in pencil.

The signing of a legal document with no parent around...or a mention of the character being old enough to not have parental consent.

The pictures in the paper. It annoys me when pictures used for publications are obvious stills.

    **I'm picky

BTW...that foley of the children...scary as hell man. Excellent mixing.

  • Thank you for the critique :)

  • Wow great ending, great work guys! I love the CG moddling work. Also, at the beging there is a "Please Sign In" sign obscuring the doctors face and it would have been even better if you had ADRed it. Was that filmed with your Canon XL2 because it was great quality! Also, if you can change the shutter speed on it. Change it to 100 for running and action scenes, this gives it a realy good looking image to the shot. Nice one guys 5 stars!

  • Thanks for the comment! We did film with the XL2, it always does a great job. We decided to keep the speed to 1/60 so it had more of a film look. In action movies with fights and so forth we'd def increase the speed to 1/250 at least.

  • Oh so you know about it. Wow up to 1/250, is there an example of this speed in one of your YouTube videos.

  • I don't think so. I've experimented with it, but haven't filmed an action movie yet, so no need for it. I hope to make that sort of film next, so we'd use a high shutter speed there.

  • Ok then, I'm looking forward to an action movie from you!

  • Well done Ryan.
