I think all this fuzz about a clip from an old comedy show is a bit silly to begin with, but gosh.. If you want to appear like a serious politician, this is a pretty good example of how to fail at that. I especially like the innocent music. :P
Before you make yourself look dumber than you are... hopefully, maybe you should listen to what she said, and then tell me where she got the 1st amendment wrong. Idiot. Of course you wont because you can't because you're a liberal troll. That's fine too. What a pathetic life you must live.
@TruthAndLibertyORG This "candidate" couldn't win in the year of red tidal surge - the largest this country has seen since 1948 - (and candidates and primary voters like her) costing Republicans control of the Senate - would have had both houses without the likes of you and your "candidate." Are you reading this or are you in line at the bookstore waiting for her book to come out? Yes, you are the true superior intellect on Nov. 3rd. aren't you?
@bloy7777 Actually yes I am. So she lost, it was still an election between a conservative republican and a liberal democrat. Rather than a landslide for a liberal democrat running as a Republican. I'm sorry you can't fathom that. Maybe you should buy her book so you can learn what being a Republican is supposed to mean.
@TruthAndLibertyORG And you're Christine O'Donnell.... and as you said, "I'm you."
The Republican party was never the "Theocracy" party. Crack open your history book, girlfriend. The merging with Christian fundamentalists occurred when Jerry Falwell created the "Moral Majority" prior to Reagan's first term. I was alive when it happened. I watched it.
I don't need to read about some fictionalization of something I can school you on seven times over because I was there.
"Appearing on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno - Christine O'Donnell, the Tea Party-backed candidate whose colorful comments rocketed her to the national stage but ultimately hindered her Senate hopes – said plenty of high-profile opportunities are knocking on her door.
'The offers have been interesting," she told Leno. "Anything from a book deal to a reality show.'"
One of us got played and it wasn't me. It was you - and I'm NOT you. I'm me. TTFE
@TruthAndLibertyORG Well, time has proven my words true. Here we are in August 2011 and what is this snakeoil saleswoman doing? Selling her new book, "Trouble Maker" - just as I predicted DURING the election. All of her supporters are true idiots.
@TruthAndLibertyORG Chris Cillizza hit the nail on the head about what Christine O'Donnell truly is watch it here news.yahoo.com/video#video=22434739
@TruthAndLibertyORG Yes, and you and your candidate do not even know the content of the 1st Amendment - and are so completely unaware of your own stupidity and ignorance that you spout this lack of knowledge in public causing an audible gasp in the crowd. This is because what your "candidate" is most educated in is her own version of "puritanism" and establishing a theocracy - NOT the concepts of freedom, liberty, and democracy of our Republic - of our founding fathers.
If the voters pick Coons, that's fine. Deleware will have a Communist, err... Marxist, as a Senator. If that's what they want, it's their vote.
However, don't give me that crap about Castle being a better Republican candidate. If Castle won the nomination it would be voting between the lib, or the really lib. It doesn't matter that castle is a RINO.
With O'Donnell in the race, it gives a real choice of lib vs. conservative.
Wake up idiots, Castle is a Dem, get over it. The voters did.
I'm from europe, and our political spectrum ranges from socialist to conservative. Socialism is the leading ideology, but there are no marxists in power. I can say with confidence that democrats aren't marxists.
Also, why are americans so fucking afraid of socialism? Just cause you were brainwashed in the 50s doesn't mean you can't realize its benefits now. The best countries to live in are predominantly socialist.
@derteqal Wow, you are really stupid. First off, you are a socialist from Europe, what do you know about American democrats? Secondly, I didn't call the democrats marxists. This particular democrat called HIMSELF a marxist.
Before you start schooling America, maybe you should study history. Listen to your own politicians that have a brain. And learn what Socialism stands for. I guess you're comfortable with elites telling you what to do. Americans prefer to make up our own minds.
@TruthAndLibertyORG I didnt say i was socialist, i said europe was predominantly socialist.
Also, I'm American. I'm from Houston. I just live in europe.
I admit i didnt know the background for that whole marxist thing, but i stand by my opinion that socialism (not marxism/communism) is not what americans make it out to be.
And i've studied history. I've studied politics. One of my best friends almost made it to parliament. I know the situations in both parts of the world better than most.
As for your personal insults ("Wow, you are really stupid"), that has no place in a civilized political discussion. America gets a bad rep already for its slandering and dirty politics, don't make it worse.
"And learn what Socialism stands for. I guess you're comfortable with elites telling you what to do."
You have no idea how socialism works these days, do you? It's not a matter of elites telling you anything, its about coming together and helping out.
@derteqal You are the normal liberal idiot. When punked you fall back on 'you insulted me!" Check your very first post "That's just strait up stupid." I can see you have swallowed WAYYYY too much Kool-Aid.
I'm glad you're in Europe where socialism is causing it to fall apart. Maybe you should listen to Daniel Hannan every now and then.
And yes, I still think you're an idiot. Socialism isn't about helping out. It's about forcing money from those that earned, and giving to lazy potatoes.
@TruthAndLibertyORG Well, a post debate review of the 538.com Forecast shows your "candidate" now has a 0.00% chance of winning this election based on 100,000 computer simulations. Great work. Great "candidate." How soon after the election will she be on the talk show circuit? How soon after than will the book deal come? Great candidate. In it for "the people of Delaware."
@bloy7777 Your idiocy is quite astounding. Let's say the voters had picked Castle. You would have Democrat with an R next to his name, rather than a Democrat with a C next to his name, excuse me, I mean an M. Durr?
The problem with idiots is that you can't see past your own nose. O'Donnell is the candidate on the ticket. By not supporting her you support the Communist, I mean Marxist. Duh
The real truth is you're not a Conservative, you're a lib. Thats fine. Thank God you're the minority.
@TruthAndLibertyORG Well the certainty your "candidate" has ensured of a Democrat with D rather than a Republican with a "D" holding the office makes you the superior intellect by supporting her, of course. You are correct: the idiocy here is quite astounding. Will you be the first in line at Barnes and Noble to buy her book? Will you tune in every time she is on one of the talk shows, "There's my [failed] 'candidate'!?"...just like the Palinites?
@TruthAndLibertyORG Well, a post debate review of the 538.com Forecast shows your "candidate" now has a 0.00% chance of winning this election based on 100,000 computer simulations. Great work. Great "candidate." How soon after the election will she be on the talk show circuit? How soon after that will the book deal come? Great candidate. In it for "the people of Delaware."
@bloy7777 wow, your stupidity astounds me. Thanks for coming on my channel. You have proven my points better than I ever could.
For the record, and I'll type this slowly so you can understand, I didn't ban you. I simply requested you to leave because you're obviously an idiot and I am tired of responding to you. I know you really, BADLY want the last word so by all means go ahead. I, on the other hand, am tired of suffering fools, meaning democrats and libs, meaning you.
@intrepidusa1 - WOW. Put down the coke. Quit your web brower. Stop downloading whatever you're downloading. Shut your computer down. Take deep deep breaths. Go to bed.
@bloy7777 You are a complete idiot. She never glorified Islam. She just said she was in the middle east and it was refreshing not to see smut everywhere. Kind of like the soft-pornish billboards that are all over the place.
You are really a first-class idiot, who is taking the side of Rachel Maddow? We all know MSNBC has the highest standards in journalism. ROFL!
@TruthAndLibertyORG Excuse me, I beg your pardon. "Rachel Maddow" had nothing to do with what Christine O'Donnell said about the Middle East, which any college graduate understands is completely dominated by Islam, save for the tiny sliver of Israel, or the fact that Christine O'Donnell would place admiration for the constrictive values of Islam over American freedoms due to her obvious sexual hang ups. Very very dangerous. Isn't the lowest form of argument name calling, pal?
VernVonVoid, "bearded" was the term Coons used to describe just how much of a Marxist he is (or was, if you believe his current story). I wouldn't care if Christine O'Donnell was a masturbating witch with a history of visits to the State Mental Hospital so long as she casts her votes in a manner consistent with upholding the U.S. Constitution and the principles upon which our country was founded. Which is exactly the opposite of what you can expect from Coons.
Well, an "unbearded" marxist would have been ok, but now that you mention it, yeah - we would rather have the witch than the whiskers. "Common sense conservative?" Who are you trying to fool? This woman is a complete idiot. She is as far removed from common sense as a human being can get. Watch her clips. Scientists have created mice with fully functioning human brains? Monkeys should be able to evolve before our eyes if evolution is true? C'mon man! Move on. Next candidate, please!
@bloy7777 I would LOVE to debate creation/evolution with you.
The mice with human brains quote is a bit odd. I would like to know what she meant by that. Can't be any worse than "given enough time you can change anything into anything" which is a well-known evolution quote. It also can't be worse than 57 states of America.
Which one of her policies do you disagree with? Less spending? More liberty? Maybe lower taxes? Or is it that your arguments relegated to her religion?
@TruthAndLibertyORG "Less spending?" We need more spending, we need to reform so much in this country and cant just be paralyzed by austerity policies. Different spending maybe, did you think of that? How much spending is wasted even as our education system, something absolutely crucial to our future, fails? "More liberty?" Define liberty. "Maybe lower taxes?" Why are conservatives in all their claimed patriotism so against giving our nation the necessary funding needed to operate.
@antilles27 So you're a socialist? First - Spending money doesn't make things better. Reform? Yes Spending money calling it reform? No.
Sending is being wasted. But it's not the Federal government's responsibility to educate our children. The more the feds get involved, the worse the system gets. How about Parents taking some responsibility? That kind of reform is free.
More liberty = no "fairness doctrine" "Purchase Mandates" "Gun rights" Etc.
@TruthAndLibertyORG I'm a pragmatist. Spending money in the right places makes things better. You cant blanket all spending as bad. Education is one of the government's most important responsibilities, and spending is the answer. Educators must be given more incentive, teachers need to be better qualified and better paid. Our most brilliant minds could be lending their knowledge to the next generation. Instead they are turned off by the low wage and few benefits. The USA is falling behind.
@TruthAndLibertyORG I'm not God. I have the humility to understand I'm not God. I don't question God's methodology, unlike most brain-dead, loud-mouth, know-it-all "creationists" like Christine O'Donnell. You won't "debate me" on creation vs. evolution because I have the intelligence to understand neither of us were there and I, therefore, won't participate in your speculation or anyone else's. We don't know. I do believe in God or "Great Spirit" (as I tend to lean more toward panentheism).
@bloy7777 I see. So she is stupid to believe in creationism, like me. Hmm. I don't blame you for not debating evolution / creation because the religion of evolution is hilariously tough to defend. I'm glad you believe in God and the "Great Spirit."
However, you are the one that insinuated she was silly because she dared to point out the folly of the religion of evolution. I was just trying to get you to actually stand for something other than "She's stupid!" durr?
@TruthAndLibertyORG I'm not the slightest bit afraid of anything. Fear is what is killing our country. Humans created domesticated canines from wolves - with certainty in the last 15,000 years, but DNA testing increases that date range to 40,000 years. Humans created ALL the different domestic dog breeds you see in your world today. It is an accelerated microcosm showing how "evolution" may work right in front of your eyes. God may have used it. I don't believe I am smarter than God. Do you?
@bloy7777 I see. So no answers to my questions? If not I do have better things to do than to chase a retreating argument down the pike. I will restate some for your benefit...
1. What policies do you disagree with from O'Donnell?
2. Where did your wolves come from?
3. What "DNA" method of dating was used?
4. Do you have any reason to accuse O'Donnell of not following through on her policies?
If you can't answer at least 3 of those, have a nice day, Hero.
@TruthAndLibertyORG Rude and Bullying tactics to slather on top of your Noah's Ark don't make you appealing to more than 14-19%, pal.
1. I already answered #1 an hour ago, it doesn't matter what she says her policies are, she is unbelievable, untrustworthy, and ignorant. Her video clips are the proof.
2. I have no wolves. Do you? I do have 2 dogs. You said they came from Noah's Ark. That's all we need to know about this argument.
3. I'm not your teacher. Go back to school. Basic HS science.
@bloy7777 I still haven't seen any bullying. Simply stating that your wrong isn't rude it's a position.
Your answers prove my point, my belief is more logical than your nonsense.... here comes my reply and then you can spout all the ignorance you want, I have better things to do.
1. You obviously have no clue what her policies are, nor those of Coons. Which I expected.
2. You have no clue where the supposed wolves came from.
3. There is no way DNA studies can be used in dating method. Your answer was absurd. We all know HS Science is a hallmark of scholarly advancement. Is that the level of science education you achieved? It seems so.
4. You have no reason to accuse O'Donnell of not following through on her policies. You're simply a reactionist to what you hear.
I thought liberals were supposed to be tolerant of all kinds of people, even those who practice witchcraft! In fact, aren't most self-proclaimed "witches" liberals? You libs ought to be supporting her in droves! You're not fooling anyone when you pull these sudden attempts to look like a conservative in order to bash a conservative.
Your argument makes no sense cause she's not a witch.
But all this witch business is pointless. Doesn't matter either way. People don't dislike her cause she dabbled in witchcraft. People dislike her cause she's a religious extremist who can't even handle her personal finances yet wants to be put in a position where she will make major decisions for Delaware and the country.
@VernVonVoid, Thanks for pointing that out. I kind of thought that was obvious. In any case, since when does being very strongly religious disqualify someone from holding public office? What do you mean by "religious extremist?" And how does that have anything to do with her willingness to put freedom, balanced budgets, and the U.S. Constitution first when she votes? And probably most of our congressmen and women would be financially struggling if they hadn't made won the electoral lottery.
She is a "religious extremists" because she holds "extreme" (i.e. - far outside mainstream) religious viewpoints.
No one said being strongly religious disqualifies someone from holding public office...it just prevents rational people from being able to support them.
What freedoms have been taken from you in the past 2 years? Again, you think someone who can't handle their own personal finances is qualified to help oversee budgets of a state and a country?
@VernVonVoid, I would agree that being a religious extremist might make it difficult for some people to vote for her. You are probably a prime example of one.
As a Senator, she won't be overseeing anything unless the senior members of the Senate in the Republican Party believe she is qualified to do so. She will simply cast a vote most of her first term, during which time she will learn a great deal about governance, budgets, et cetera.
As a Senator she'd have a 1/50th say on the biggest issues facing the country. That's way too much for someone who has proven they make decisions based on faith over reason and have not the slightest concept of how personal (let alone national and international) finances work.
In that role she can play a part in restricting the freedom of people to marry whom they want, restricting access to contraception and medical care for women, etc.
Nobody is going to give a damn about getting married or need contraception if they are slaving away six months of every year just to cover their taxes. As for access to contraception, what are you talking about? I don't think anyone is talking about outlawing condoms or the Pill. And after Obamacare goes into full effect, medical care for anyone is going to go down the toilet. I think we have bigger fish to fry than these minor social issues you are so concerned about.
And 1/50th or 2% is next to nothing. I wouldn't make a bet on anything with poor odds like that. Particularly when the alternative, Chris Coons, is unquestionably going to vote in favor of more laws that increase regulation and taxes, which will result in a worsening economy and lower federal revenues, as it always has, without fail.
I suspect that once she gets into office, she'll get her personal finances straightened out pretty quickly, just like all those other slimeballs.
@VernVonVoid, Also, exactly what bills do you think she is likely to be voting on in the next six years that would be designed to restrict your freedom of religion or lack thereof? None, I expect. Its a non-issue. As for the current degenerate Congress and flunkie in the White House, they have passed a number of laws that will erode my freedom. Obamacare being the biggest one of all. I happen to be one of the 80 percent of the happily insured. It is unnecessary government meddling.
@VernVonVoid, Obamacare will prove, if not repealed, to be a disaster of epic proportions for the healthcare industry in America, and by extension, the rest of the civilized world that depends on American medical technology for their healthcare. It will eventually result in making my private plan unaffordable, likely next year, when they jack up my rates in response to that unconstitutional abortion of a law. Then where will I be? Stuck with some gov. plan I don't want. So much for freedom.
Funny how, while I keep asking Conservatives what freedoms they've lost under Obama, they keep giving me examples of freedoms (they think) they will eventually lose. I have a feeling come 2012 they'll still be prophesying about freedoms they'll lose under a second Obama term without being able to come up with a single example of any they lost in the first.
@VernVonVoid, you are a frog being slowly boiled. It is already happening, it just isn't widespread enough yet to be obvious, which apparently everything must be for you before you recognize it. Several major companies have announced plans to drop their employee health insurance as a result of Obamacare. The employees of these companies will now have one of three options: 1) go without insurance; 2) pay a higher individual plan premium, or; 3) buy a plan with coverage specified by the government
The mere force of the government altering the market for health insurance is an encroachment on liberty. It may seem minor, but ultimately it is not. If the govt. really wanted to do something to solve the health care problem in the U.S., it could have done the following:
1. Return the tax code to the pre-LBJ Great Society circumstance where doctors were allowed to write off losses from uncollected receivables.
2. Cap medical malpractice jury awards at something reasonable and/or bar attorneys from sharing in any percentage of the award. They collect a straight hourly fee for services only.
3. Require health insurance companies to settle claims within 24 hours of receipt. This would vastly reduce the number of people employed by doctors whose sole job is to get the insurance companies to pay and employed by the insurance companies whose sole job is to find ways to avoid or delay paying
4. Allow health insurance companies to compete across state lines. That's a no brainer, and fortunately, the one part of Obamacare that actually makes any sense.
5. Allow everyone to deduct their health insurance premiums and expenses from their gross income on their taxes. There could be a cap on the deductible amount for premiums to prevent abuse.
6. Eventually and very gradually replace Medicare and Medicaid with a refundable tax credit to be used for buying health insurance.
The first on the list would provide an incentive for doctors to provide care to the indigent for free since they could write it off on their taxes. This is how it used to be before that jackass, LBJ, screwed it up. Before then, there was no healthcare problem in this country. Poor people got the care they needed and in the most efficient manner possible, they were covered by the taxpayers. Simple. No 2000 page law required.
The next step after the Obamacare debacle fails, and it will because socialized medicine, and particularly one as royally twisted as Obamacare, is for the federal government to step in and claim that it was a half-measure that can only be fixed by a single-payer system. Each new onerous law that purportedly tries to "fix" the problem only makes it worse. Get the government and the lawyers the hell out of the way and the problem will go away.
I could go on for hours with far more detail than this. And not only on this particular subject, but all the other onerous, over-reaching laws that have been passed in the last two years. Regulation, by definition, limits freedom. Liberals favor more regulation. Conservatives, less. It is a very simple concept. Lest you think Conservatives are inhumane, just remember, the road to Hell is paved with good intentions.
One other thing. Tell me why it is that if Obamacare is such a great thing, they delayed the implementation for so long? Aren't there poor people who are going to suffer so much more by having to wait for this great Utopian plan to go into effect? Of course people can only predict what will happen because the stupid law has hardly begun to be implemented. A rational person would have at least read that damn law before voting on it, but then, they weren't allowed to, were they?
@Intrepidusa1 You are wasting your money, pal. 1.8% chance of winning based on 100,000 simulations. Besides, she already has millions from out of state and foreign donations - the very "big government establishment" types she claims she stands against. Hypocrite Hazel. You could have used that money for higher education. Too bad.
@bloy7777 That's true. I could have used that money for higher education for you! You're the one who needs it! You've been so thoroughly brainwashed by the leftist media and probably those around you, that you can no longer tell reality from the imaginary. Sad actually. Go drink some more Kool-Aid and finish yourself off. There's no hope for you. The sooner the better. Preferably before Nov. 2.
I'm an 8th generation American. My paternal family came here in 1741. My maternal family is Native American. I am a life-long Republican. This woman is a complete idiot and our party should NOT endorse her or anyone so lacking in basic credentials and basic intelligence. This looks like an SNL faux-ad. "I'm not a witch?" Yeah, "I'm not a crook" worked just fine, too. I'm not a witch, but I'm dressed in black with a black background. We couldn't afford to rent some color? Some springtime?
@bloy7777 She has been a political commentator on a number of networks, she has a solid professional background in marketing. What credentials does her opponent have that she doesn't? Communism? Marxism? Progressivism? If you don't vote for her, that's what you get.
Oh yeah, of course Coons claims to be both progressive AND conservative. So who would you rather have? Communist or Conservative? Hmm... You may be 8th generation but voting for communism is rather foolish.
@TruthAndLibertyORG Don't even question my family with your absolutism, McCarthy. My wife was a 9/11 victim (55th floor of WTC1 - North Tower) and my Father, Cousin, Uncle, Brother and son-in-law all served our country. DE-160 bore our family name in WWII. It was named after my cousin, Jackson, for bravery at Guadalcanal. We were Republicans before you could read. Christine O'Donnell is NOT a Republican. She is a shill.
@bloy7777 O'Donnell is a Republican. More importantly, a Conservative. And, while I'm thankful for your families dedication and sacrifice to our country, THEIR sacrifice is in vain if YOU, in the name of "Republicans," vote for a communist.
@TruthAndLibertyORG Way too presumptuous with your mouth. In a free country, you see, I decide what's best for me. Bullying and crossing the line with people is for immature grade schoolers. Why are you supporting someone so stupid, someone that is clearly in it for what they can get? Someone that your best foot you can put forward is "don't vote for the other guy, he's a communist." You are truly brainwashed.
@bloy7777 Exactly what bullying and crossing the line has been going on? Other than you saying the only reason not to vote for O'Donnell is because, in your opinion, she isn't intelligent.
Answer: I agree with her policies and values, therefore I support her.
Direct questions, no disappearing or ignoring:
1. Why do you think she is in it for what she can get? Any proof?
2. What policies do you disagree with her on? Why?
3. Should I be surprised when you don't answer 1 or 2? Why?
@TruthAndLibertyORG It doesn't matter what she SAYS her policies are because she is not trustworthy, honest, intelligent, or believable. She could say her policies are exactly those of RR and I would have the same position. She is a shill. She will ensure a Democrat wins.
@bloy7777 OH! I see where you're coming from. You believe that she is working FOR the democrat party. Interesting. I don't believe you but it's an interesting conspiracy theory.
So your stance is, rather than believe what she says, to take your chances on the bearded marxist and hope he is lying too and that he is a closet Reagan? I see. Intelligence is definitely working overtime here.
@TruthAndLibertyORG I would run and hide in shame if she won and I had supported her. But then again, I would support a dead fish before this woman. The dumbing-down of America continues and we're so proud we will gloat about it. (sigh) "I can see a monkey evolving into a human from my house. I can see mice with human brains and domestic dogs getting off Noah's Ark." (sigh). Hey, how can scientist make mice with human brains but God can't use evolution? Scientists smarter than God?
@bloy7777 You obviously don't understand the theory of evolution. Macro / Micro study and learn. A banana never had a dog, a dog never had a cat, and a monkey never had a human.
Now, to my questions I just posted... if you please...
@TruthAndLibertyORG You never answered my question. How can scientists make mice with fully functioning human brains, but God is forbidden to use evolution? Are scientists more intelligent than God? Also, exactly how big was Noah's Ark? How many dogs were on the Ark? How long ago was the Ark used - when was "the flood?"
@bloy7777 It doesn't matter if O'Donnell wins or loses. The message to the Republican Establishment has already been sent loud and clear, STOP CHOOSING CANDIDATES THAT MUDDLE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DEMOCRATS AND REPUBLICANS! Mike Castle is just a Democrat calling himself a Republican. What's the point in electing him if he's going to vote with the Dems 90% of the time? O'Donnell may be far from perfect, but until the Republican Establishment gets the message, she's what we have to work with.
@Intrepidusa1 And Christine O'Donnell is an inanimate object calling herself a candidate that used to call herself a witch, but she is now, no longer, a witch. She is just you (me) all dressed in black with black hair and a black background.
Are bleeping kidding me? The message back from the conscious Republican Establishment to the Red Neck, I mean Far Right, is STOP CHOOSING CANDIDATES THAT MAKE US ALL LOOK LIKE EVOLVING MONKEYS!
@bloy7777 I agree the commercial is a bad one. No argument there! Never-the-less, she didn't used to call herself a witch. I believe she said she dated a guy briefly in high school who dabbled a bit in it, which is the same as saying I had a Ouija Board when I was a kid. Its simply been blown out of all proportion and apparently you have bought it hook, line, and sinker from the mainstream media.
And the Establishment had better watch out or it will be the next to go if it doesn't wake up.
@Intrepidusa1 "I had a date on a bloody satanic altar when I dabbled in being a witch" is NOT the same as saying, "I had a Ouija Board when I was a kid." She has sexual hang ups that cause her to admire the medieval "puritan" values of Islam that degrade individualism and women and place a higher value on those than our most sacred American values and freedoms. I see the truth for what it is, Christine O'Donnell is NOT electable. If she admires the Middle East as a woman she should go on back.
@bloy7777 Whatever she said, it doesn't matter. Can you claim to have never said anything foolish when you were young? Or perhaps you still are young? In any case, I said a lot of things when I was kid/teenager/young adult that I now view as rather stupid and naive, but I grew up and matured like most people and learned to be more careful. Not to mention she made those statements on some kind of TV show where the dramatic reigns supreme. It is so easy to discredit those statements.
@Intrepidusa1 "It is so easy to discredit those statements".....cue piano music, black background, black dress, everything black...."I'm not a witch. I'm....I'm... you, yeah, that's the ticket, I'm you." Best campaign ad ever. If SNL is smart they'll create one just like it where nothing changes from the original except her nose grows long slowly through the entire ad.
@bloy7777, See my previous comment above, I agree the commercial is a bad one. She shouldn't have legitimized the witchcraft charges, at least not like that, but I guess she feels she is getting hammered by MSNBC, CBS, ABC, NBC, SNL, etc., and needed to say something lest she validate their charges by not denying it.
@bloy7777 I've heard plenty of guys tell me they've never masturbated. I didn't believe it, but they were attempting to avoid embarrassment. Would you get on national TV as a teenager or 20's adult and tell everyone watching you enjoyed jacking off? I doubt it.
Haven't heard about her admiration of 'medieval' puritan" values of Islam" so I cannot comment on that. Would you care to refer me to the source of that statement? I'd be interested in finding out more about it.
@Intrepidusa1 Saying you "haven't heard about it" doesn't make it go away. I posted a link to the video herein 18 hours ago. It is real. This woman is so obsessed with what she believes are "puritan" values that she admires Islamic culture which degrades individual freedoms - especially those of women over American freedoms and values. You can't get around this. It is her basic "puritan" belief system at work.
@Intrepidusa1 “O’Donnell found the Middle East’s censorship ‘refreshing.’ “I’ll tell you, I just came back from the Middle East, and it was refreshing. With all that is going on, it was refreshing not to be constantly bombarded with smut all the time.” [MSNBC, 3/23/04]”
@bloy7777 Doesn't exactly sound like a full-on endorsement of Sharia Law or Wahhabism. More just a statement that she doesn't like the way women are marginalized in America as sex objects. But of course, that good 'ol Maddow analysis can be relied upon to read far more into it than existed, particularly when it suits her left-wing political objectives.
@Intrepidusa1 Maddow has nothing to do with what Christine O'Donnell thinks and says - nor how any of us should view it. I'm a Republican. This should concern ANY American. This woman's basic belief system isn't built upon our most sacred freedoms - it is built upon what she perceives as "puritan" values - so much so that she is able to more easily relate to the Islamic culture of the Middle East, which is medieval and degrading, to our own American freedoms. That's MY analysis, pal.
@bloy7777, I see. You are a Mike Castle-type Republican, which is to say, you are a RINO. If you weren't, why would you bother watching Maddow? Your analysis concludes from a statement that it was refreshing to not see smut all over the place during a tour of the Middle East that she is a Puritan and more able to relate to Islamic culture?! That's quite a stretch, pal yourself. Maddow would probably be happy to know you're co-opting her analysis.
@Intrepidusa1 Who elected you to decided what constitutes a Republican? I do not "watch" nor have I ever watched "Maddow." I couldn't believe one of our candidates could say such a thing as identifying with Islam - I wanted to see it for myself. The clip that MSNBC has on that Maddow show clip is the only clip available - Sherlock. I read the statement and was appalled - as should be all Americans. You can't discredit the reality of O'Donnell's puritan flaws by tying in Maddow. Fallacy 101.
@bloy7777, say what such a thing? That she appreciates not seeing smut all over the place? Of course the clip with Maddow is the only one available. No one else deemed it worthy of wasting airtime on. Only Maddow could figure out a way to spin it into her being some kind of Islamophile. Utterly absurd.
So a Republican should look like Mike Castle? That's a joke, right? All I've heard for the last ten years is people complaining that there is no difference b/t the two parties. No wonder!
@Intrepidusa1 Here's reality, not that any of you supporting this idiot would ever dare live in it. elections.nytimes.com/2010/forecasts/senate/delaware
The witch, I mean, I...er... a.... you have a 1.8% chance of winning based on 100,000 simulations. When I.....er...a...you....er....a....I mean the witch wins we'll all get together on top of Noah's Ark and celebrate. How big was that thing again? Oh that's right, it doesn't matter, a wave of the wand or a twitch of the nose....Idiots
@bloy7777 Let's see, you used the word "reality" and cited the NYT as a source. That's funny! You've now cited two sources to back up your claims and both are hard leftwing media outlets. I suppose this article was the only place you could find this information. No surprise there.
You are really hung up on all that witch business aren't you? Are you afraid she's going to use her magic wand on you?! Ha!
@Intrepidusa1 You Neanderthals are amazing. None of your arguments pass the most basic of logic fallacy tests, yet you boast and brag as though you are educated. A first-year college student taking Critical Thinking 101 could see through your Bare assertion fallacies, Negative proof fallacies, Argument from repetition fallacies, Red herring fallacies, Association Fallacies (Intrepid you are addicted to this one!), and Ad Hominem attacks - Intrepid really loves to associate and Ad Hominem!
@Intrepidusa1 Interesting that you use an association fallacy to dismiss the reality in this particular case. Are you hoping no one goes to the link because the data therein comes from over a dozen different polls, CNN, Fox, Rasmussen, PPP and computer simulations run by 538.com. Again, the NYT link is just the location of the information. Did you even read it? No! Like a toddler, if you cover your eyes you are invisible and no one can see you. If you don't read the data it does exist.
@Intrepidusa1 You think the time has come for Christine O'Donnell and Sarah Palin types? 14-19% of the general public is all you'll get with them, intarded. The rest of the "buzz" over candidates like this is the same psychological reaction caused by a car crash. Yeah, it causes a lot of "lookie-loos" - due to the same base desires and flaws that made circus side-shows popular but you are NOT going to win elections with them. They will gain fame, make appearances, write books, etc.
Actually, Sarah Palin is enjoying a tremendous amount of support, despite the media's unrelenting efforts to make her look stupid, which they are quite good at. I expect if they targeted you, you would look even more so than her. But she holds her head up high and stays above it. You could probably learn a thing or two from her. She may well be our next president. One things is for sure, Obama is a one-termer. Now HE truly makes Ms. Palin look like a genius.
@Intrepidusa1 "which they are quite good at." Point to education: English-Writing 101. Never end a sentence with a preposition. Transposition of "good" for "well."
Correctly written:
"...make her look stupid, which they do quite well."
I am an educated Republican, sir or madam. You appear to be something other than highly education as evidenced by your writing skills.
@TruthAndLibertyORG You quickly, easily, and predictably fell into the trap proving that you can read when you have incentive to do so and when it behooves your political argument premise to do so, please use those skills to review the 538.com election simulations that prove the only relevant point I have been trying to make to you Neanderthals herein: Your "fringe" candidate is UNELECTABLE. As of this morning <1% chance of winning this elections. Thanks for putting a Dem in office.
@bloy7777 That's the problem for progressives like you. Mike Castle WAS a democrat you idiot. Sure he had an R next to his name but he was a DEMOCRAT. I'm sorry that just bounces right off your forehead, or above it, but that's the truth.
Thank God for a real Republican we can vote for. Her name, is Christine O'Donnell. Now if you will kindly leave my channel. I'm tired of your stupidity.
@TruthAndLibertyORG What's next? You want to censor me? Ban me? That's the way you "regressives" think isn't it? You want a non-reality return ride back in time, don't you? You think it would just be so easy if we could just go back in time. I want ALL the same policies you want except I want us to continue to ascend in our humanity. That's where we meet the fork in the road, you and I. And I will take the road less traveled. Back to Noah's Ark(s) (thousands of them) with you "regressives."
@Intrepidusa1 So now that you both quickly, easily, and predictably have fallen into the trap proving you can read when you have incentive to do so and it behooves your political argument premise to do so, please use the same skills and due diligence to read the 538.com elections simulations which prove the only truly relevant point I have been trying to make to you Neanderthals: Your "fringe" candidate is UNELECTABLE. <1% chance of winning as of this morning. Candy from a baby.
@bloy7777 I seem to recall someone pointing out a similar grammatical flaw to Winston Churchill, to which he replied "That is an impertinence up with which I shall not put"
@bloy7777 I seem to recall someone pointing out a similar grammatical flaw to Winston Churchill, to which he replied "That is an impertinence up with which I shall not put"
@Intrepidusa1 RINO = "If you are not with us, you are with the terrorists" = if you don't agree with me, you are a Communist = McCarthyism=Nazism (using power, the threat of power, and intimidation to force out any intelligent discussion that may differ from the will of the leader)=dictatorship. Yeah, who is the Republican in this discussion again? One of us is obviously confused. Can you spare a bratwurst there, Hans?
RINO=Republican In Name Only. Meaning that someone with that title is really a Democrat. If I wanted a one party system, I'd vote for RINOs, but I prefer a two-party system, where you can actually tell a difference between the two parties. That's called a choice, which is apparently something you would prefer Americans not have. Your pathetic attempt at moral equivalency is so obviously wrong I'm surprised that even you didn't see it. Mr. Non-absolute.
Seriously, this is the most bizarre campaign ad I've ever seen. In 21st century America starting out an ad with "I'm not a witch"? I laughed so hard while thinking about the witch scene from Monty Python in Search of the Holy Grail. People accusing the president of not being bown here without a shred of evidence. People bringing guns to town hall meetings. And these nutty tea party candidates...O'Donnell, Lowden, Angle, etc.
But she turned me into a newt. A newt? I got better...
"I'll go to Washington, and do what you'd do." But I'd probably just walk around feeling lost and confused because I don't know anything about how government works! Oh, wait, I see what you're getting at...
@gorillabang79 Yeah, you like almost every other wacko making rude comments on here are the same, you're not from Delaware, so your opinion means ummm, nothing.
THIS VIDEO looks terribly made, and the person who posted this video IS NOT HELPING. By deleting and flaming every comment that YOU don't like, you're trying to SILENCE PEOPLE WHO VOTE, which makes you and this woman look worse. YOU ARE acting like A child when you play the GRAMMAR NAZI card, which happens to be a bad political position.
@LegendaryKatana Thanks for your opinion but if you will actually notice, I only remove comments that are filled with profanity. I'm sure you are a political genius so I wont pick apart your idiocy. Thanks for coming. :)
...No, Christine. I'm sorry, but you're not me. I don't think you're anyone I know, for that matter. Interesting angle to take for a campaign, but there's entirely too much past absurdity out there, and it seems like more is surfacing all the time.
@pogotuber Grow up and leave mature comments or be banned. Your profanity and vulgarity are the mark of the misguided child you are. When you get old enough to vote, I pray you have grown in intelligence. Seriously, idiot.
Obama dabbled in drugs... is he a druggie? I love the way the uneducated liberals can't string two coherent thoughts together to make up their own minds.
No one ever called her a witch... she called herself a witch. She said herself that she 'dabbled in witchcraft'. I love the way uneducated Neocons post these videos and then complain about the comments it receives.
She's really got that "Kevin Arnold raise one eyebrow at a time" thing down. Impressive.

3rd. aren't you?
bloy7777 1 year ago
@bloy7777 Actually yes I am. So she lost, it was still an election between a conservative republican and a liberal democrat. Rather than a landslide for a liberal democrat running as a Republican. I'm sorry you can't fathom that. Maybe you should buy her book so you can learn what being a Republican is supposed to mean.
You're an idiot.
TruthAndLibertyORG 1 year ago
@TruthAndLibertyORG And you're Christine O'Donnell.... and as you said, "I'm you."
The Republican party was never the "Theocracy" party. Crack open your history book, girlfriend. The merging with Christian fundamentalists occurred when Jerry Falwell created the "Moral Majority" prior to Reagan's first term. I was alive when it happened. I watched it.
I don't need to read about some fictionalization of something I can school you on seven times over because I was there.

The voters did.

wow, calling democrats marxists?
That is, uh... That's just straight up stupid.
The best countries to live in are predominantly socialist.
derteqal 1 year ago

Now go masturbate somewhere else
Intrepidusa1 1 year ago
Well, an "unbearded" marxist would have been ok, but now that you mention it, yeah - we would rather have the witch than the whiskers. "Common sense conservative?" Who are you trying to fool? This woman is a complete idiot. She is as far removed from common sense as a human being can get. Watch her clips. Scientists have created mice with fully functioning human brains? Monkeys should be able to evolve before our eyes if evolution is true? C'mon man! Move on. Next candidate, please!
bloy7777 1 year ago
@bloy7777 I would LOVE to debate creation/evolution with you.
The mice with human brains quote is a bit odd. I would like to know what she meant by that. Can't be any worse than "given enough time you can change anything into anything" which is a well-known evolution quote. It also can't be worse than 57 states of America.
Which one of her policies do you disagree with? Less spending? More liberty? Maybe lower taxes? Or is it that your arguments relegated to her religion?
TruthAndLibertyORG 1 year ago
@TruthAndLibertyORG "Less spending?" We need more spending, we need to reform so much in this country and cant just be paralyzed by austerity policies. Different spending maybe, did you think of that? How much spending is wasted even as our education system, something absolutely crucial to our future, fails? "More liberty?" Define liberty. "Maybe lower taxes?" Why are conservatives in all their claimed patriotism so against giving our nation the necessary funding needed to operate.
antilles27 1 year ago
@antilles27 So you're a socialist? First - Spending money doesn't make things better. Reform? Yes Spending money calling it reform? No.
Sending is being wasted. But it's not the Federal government's responsibility to educate our children. The more the feds get involved, the worse the system gets. How about Parents taking some responsibility? That kind of reform is free.
More liberty = no "fairness doctrine" "Purchase Mandates" "Gun rights" Etc.
TruthAndLibertyORG 1 year ago
@TruthAndLibertyORG I'm a pragmatist. Spending money in the right places makes things better. You cant blanket all spending as bad. Education is one of the government's most important responsibilities, and spending is the answer. Educators must be given more incentive, teachers need to be better qualified and better paid. Our most brilliant minds could be lending their knowledge to the next generation. Instead they are turned off by the low wage and few benefits. The USA is falling behind.
antilles27 1 year ago
Also, lower taxes doesn't cost the federal government, unless they are spending, like Obama, on things that don't work, and spending MUCH TOO MUCH.
Study economics... Lower Taxes leads to higher revenues. All the way back to Egypt. Socialists and Communists never understand that.

@TruthAndLibertyORG I'm not God. I have the humility to understand I'm not God. TruthAndLibertyORG 1 year ago
Do you?
bloy7777 1 year ago
@bloy7777 I don't believe I'm smarter than God. I just believe my beliefs are more logical than your religion.
Okay, with certainty... so it's proven? How?
Where did the wolves come from?
What "DNA" process is used to come up with those dates?
I hope you don't try to switch the burden of proof here because you're finally sounding intelligent.

2. I have no wolves. Do you? I do have 2 dogs. You said they came from Noah's Ark. That's all we need to know about this argument.
3. I'm not your teacher. Go back to school. Basic HS science.

People dislike her cause she's a religious extremist who can't even handle her personal finances yet wants to be put in a position where she will make major decisions for Delaware and the country.
VernVonVoid 1 year ago
@VernVonVoid, Thanks for pointing that out. I kind of thought that was obvious. In any case, since when does being very strongly religious disqualify someone from holding public office? What do you mean by "religious extremist?" And how does that have anything to do with her willingness to put freedom, balanced budgets, and the U.S. Constitution first when she votes? And probably most of our congressmen and women would be financially struggling if they hadn't made won the electoral lottery.
Intrepidusa1 1 year ago
@Intrepidusa1
VernVonVoid 1 year ago
@VernVonVoid, I would agree that being a religious extremist might make it difficult for some people to vote for her. You are probably a prime example of one.
As a Senator, she won't be overseeing anything unless the senior members of the Senate in the Republican Party believe she is qualified to do so. She will simply cast a vote most of her first term, during which time she will learn a great deal about governance, budgets, et cetera.
Intrepidusa1 1 year ago
@Intrepidusa1
VernVonVoid 1 year ago
@VernVonVoid
Intrepidusa1 1 year ago
@VernVonVoid
Intrepidusa1 1 year ago
@VernVonVoid, Also, exactly what bills do you think she is likely to be voting on in the next six years that would be designed to restrict your freedom of religion or lack thereof? None, I expect. Its a non-issue. As for the current degenerate Congress and flunkie in the White House, they have passed a number of laws that will erode my freedom. Obamacare being the biggest one of all. I happen to be one of the 80 percent of the happily insured. It is unnecessary government meddling.
Intrepidusa1 1 year ago
@VernVonVoid, Obamacare will prove, if not repealed, to be a disaster of epic proportions for the healthcare industry in America, and by extension, the rest of the civilized world that depends on American medical technology for their healthcare. It will eventually result in making my private plan unaffordable, likely next year, when they jack up my rates in response to that unconstitutional abortion of a law. Then where will I be? Stuck with some gov. plan I don't want. So much for freedom.
Intrepidusa1 1 year ago
@Intrepidusa1
Re: Obamacare
We'll just see Nostradamus.
VernVonVoid 1 year ago
@VernVonVoid, you are a frog being slowly boiled. It is already happening, it just isn't widespread enough yet to be obvious, which apparently everything must be for you before you recognize it. Several major companies have announced plans to drop their employee health insurance as a result of Obamacare. The employees of these companies will now have one of three options: 1) go without insurance; 2) pay a higher individual plan premium, or; 3) buy a plan with coverage specified by the government
Intrepidusa1 1 year ago
@VernVonVoid
The mere force of the government altering the market for health insurance is an encroachment on liberty. It may seem minor, but ultimately it is not. If the govt. really wanted to do something to solve the health care problem in the U.S., it could have done the following:
1. Return the tax code to the pre-LBJ Great Society circumstance where doctors were allowed to write off losses from uncollected receivables.
see continued...
Intrepidusa1 1 year ago
@VernVonVoid
Intrepidusa1 1 year ago
@VernVonVoid
Intrepidusa1 1 year ago
@VernVonVoid
Intrepidusa1 1 year ago
@VernVonVoid
Intrepidusa1 1 year ago
@VernVonVoid
Intrepidusa1 1 year ago
@VernVonVoid

It was named after my cousin, Jackson, for bravery at Guadalcanal. We were Republicans before you could read. Christine O'Donnell is NOT a Republican. She is a shill.
bloy7777 1 year ago
@bloy7777 O'Donnell is a Republican. More importantly, a Conservative. And, while I'm thankful for your families dedication and sacrifice to our country, THEIR sacrifice is in vain if YOU, in the name of "Republicans," vote for a communist.

@TruthAndLibertyORG Way too presumptuous with your mouth. In a free country, you see, I decide what's best for me. Bullying and crossing the line with people is for immature grade schoolers. You are truly brainwashed.
bloy7777 1 year ago
@bloy7777 Exactly what bullying and crossing the line has been going on? Other than you saying the only reason not to vote for O'Donnell is because, in your opinion, she isn't intelligent.

Direct questions, no disappearing or ignoring:
1. Why do you think she is in it for what she can get? Any proof?
2. What policies do you disagree with her on? Why?
3. Should I be surprised when you don't answer 1 or 2? Why?

@bloy7777 It doesn't matter if O'Donnell wins or loses. bloy7777 1 year ago
Intrepidusa1 1 year ago
@Intrepidusa1 "I had a date on a bloody satanic altar when I dabbled in being a witch" is NOT the same as saying, "I had a Ouija Board when I was a kid." She has sexual hang ups that cause her to admire the medieval "puritan" values of Islam that degrade individualism and women and place a higher value on those than our most sacred American values and freedoms. I see the truth for what it is, Christine O'Donnell is NOT electable. If she admires the Middle East as a woman she should go on back.
bloy7777 1 year ago
@bloy7777 Whatever she said, it doesn't matter. Can you claim to have never said anything foolish when you were young? Or perhaps you still are young? In any case, I said a lot of things when I was kid/teenager/young adult that I now view as rather stupid and naive, but I grew up and matured like most people and learned to be more careful. Not to mention she made those statements on some kind of TV show where the dramatic reigns supreme. It is so easy to discredit those statements.
Intrepidusa1 1 year ago
@Intrepidusa1 "It is so easy to discredit those statements".....cue piano music, black background, black dress, everything black...."I'm not a witch. I'm....I'm... you, yeah, that's the ticket, I'm you." Best campaign ad ever. If SNL is smart they'll create one just like it where nothing changes from the original except her nose grows long slowly through the entire ad.
bloy7777 1 year ago
@bloy7777, See my previous comment above, I agree the commercial is a bad one. She shouldn't have legitimized the witchcraft charges, at least not like that, but I guess she feels she is getting hammered by MSNBC, CBS, ABC, NBC, SNL, etc., and needed to say something lest she validate their charges by not denying it.
Intrepidusa1 1 year ago
@bloy7777 I've heard plenty of guys tell me they've never masturbated. I didn't believe it, but they were attempting to avoid embarrassment. Would you get on national TV as a teenager or 20's adult and tell everyone watching you enjoyed jacking off? I doubt it.
Haven't heard about her admiration of 'medieval' puritan" values of Islam" so I cannot comment on that. Would you care to refer me to the source of that statement? I'd be interested in finding out more about it.
Intrepidusa1 1 year ago
@Intrepidusa1 Saying you "haven't heard about it" doesn't make it go away. I posted a link to the video herein 18 hours ago. It is real. This woman is so obsessed with what she believes are "puritan" values that she admires Islamic culture which degrades individual freedoms - especially those of women over American freedoms and values. You can't get around this. It is her basic "puritan" belief system at work.
bloy7777 1 year ago
@Intrepidusa1 “O’Donnell found the Middle East’s censorship ‘refreshing.’ “I’ll tell you, I just came back from the Middle East, and it was refreshing. With all that is going on, it was refreshing not to be constantly bombarded with smut all the time.” [MSNBC, 3/23/04]”
bloy7777 1 year ago
@bloy7777 Doesn't exactly sound like a full-on endorsement of Sharia Law or Wahhabism. More just a statement that she doesn't like the way women are marginalized in America as sex objects. But of course, that good 'ol Maddow analysis can be relied upon to read far more into it than existed, particularly when it suits her left-wing political objectives.
Intrepidusa1 1 year ago
@Intrepidusa1 Maddow has nothing to do with what Christine O'Donnell thinks and says - nor how any of us should view it. I'm a Republican. This should concern ANY American. This woman's basic belief system isn't built upon our most sacred freedoms - it is built upon what she perceives as "puritan" values - so much so that she is able to more easily relate to the Islamic culture of the Middle East, which is medieval and degrading, to our own American freedoms. That's MY analysis, pal.
bloy7777 1 year ago
@bloy7777, I see. You are a Mike Castle-type Republican, which is to say, you are a RINO. If you weren't, why would you bother watching Maddow? Your analysis concludes from a statement that it was refreshing to not see smut all over the place during a tour of the Middle East that she is a Puritan and more able to relate to Islamic culture?! That's quite a stretch, pal yourself. Maddow would probably be happy to know you're co-opting her analysis.
The days of the RINOs are coming to an end.
Intrepidusa1 1 year ago
@Intrepidusa1 Who elected you to decided what constitutes a Republican? I do not "watch" nor have I ever watched "Maddow." I couldn't believe one of our candidates could say such a thing as identifying with Islam - I wanted to see it for myself. The clip that MSNBC has on that Maddow show clip is the only clip available - Sherlock. I read the statement and was appalled - as should be all Americans. You can't discredit the reality of O'Donnell's puritan flaws by tying in Maddow. Fallacy 101.
bloy7777 1 year ago
@bloy7777, say what such a thing? That she appreciates not seeing smut all over the place? Of course the clip with Maddow is the only one available. No one else deemed it worthy of wasting airtime on. Only Maddow could figure out a way to spin it into her being some kind of Islamophile. Utterly absurd.
So a Republican should look like Mike Castle? That's a joke, right? All I've heard for the last ten years is people complaining that there is no difference b/t the two parties. No wonder!

By deleting and flaming every comment that YOU don't like, you're trying to SILENCE PEOPLE WHO VOTE, which makes you and this woman look worse. YOU ARE acting like A child when you play the GRAMMAR NAZI card, which happens to be a bad political position.
TL;DR --Read my upper case words only.

@LegendaryKatana Thanks for your opinion but if you will actually notice, I only remove comments that are filled with profanity. I'm sure you are a political genius so I wont pick apart your idiocy. Thanks for coming. :)

I'm an atheist, so if Christine O'Donnell is me then she is also an atheist, right?
Just be yourself, Christine.

...No, Christine. I'm sorry, but you're not me. I don't think you're anyone I know, for that matter. Interesting angle to take for a campaign, but there's entirely too much past absurdity out there, and it seems like more is surfacing all the time.

No Christine. I seriously doubt you're anything like me.
