So I recently moved to Mississippi from Florida and all I hear about is Jackson State. ... I'm not impressed at all, in fact this is a joke, especially the Drum Majors, so wack with all that popping and grinding. I guess when you've seen perfection it's really hard to accept this wack ass shit. -FAMUALLDAY

@atl85201 actually in all honesty all SWAC really does is just over blow just about everything they play and sometimes its not well put together and SWAC bands arenot as good as MEAC bands. MEAC bands can probably through DCI stuff at them and the SWAC bands wouldnt know what to play back cause the SWAC bands arent open to play that kind of stuff which sad. i do love all of my bands but there's reallyno comparison between the two. THIS IS JUST MY OPINION!!

This is awful. Their lines are off,they sound like crap and where is the drum-line? My high school band in Florida used to do much better formations. I think the MEAC has better bands. NSU is one of my favorites.

JSU I Got Nothin But Love For You, But I Just Can't Stand How Your Drum Majors Do All That Dang On Dancin and Stuff At The Beginning Of The Show But They Are Resting When The Band Is Doin The Drill, I Was Raised The Drum Major Should Be On The Field At All Times.

Lets just say my school played at last years super bowl, played in washington D.C. for the 44th presidential and the first african american presidential inauguration and also currently 4th in the nation in band rankings and the only HBCU band to every win band of the year award (the one that counts)So no more has to be said. @doublea198505 The Drum Majors do not rest the whole time. And most bands DM are not dancing during the drill because it's the band's time. The do some things during part of the drill, go off field, then come back

I will say this...JSU was bringing STRAIGHT HEAT...like they was mad at the stadium or something. lol

The difference between JSU and FAMU is that JSU has a "smack you in the face sound", while FAMU has that sound that envelopes you.

I like FAMU for their ballads and get that warm feeling, but sometimes you want to be violated and get that face/hair peeled back and that's what JSU gives you.

Both of you need to stop. Both bands have amazing sounds but Jackson state has the screamers. Of course after a while people may get tired of FAMU but what do you expect? There are 420 members of the band, that's not a lot of room on the field to work with. Could you keep a field show fresh with that much people? Plus it's Ignorant not ignant.
