It's inevitable. Oh and don't by any kind of fan attachment. They make heat up fast. I had one. Sent the sexbox in and microsoft gave me a brandspanking new one. They also gave me a renewed warranty(1 year) and Xbox live(1 month). If your under warranty don't sweat it. I hope to God mine breaks before September 09...

you make some good points, but I strongly believe the 360 has some great games that are a huge selling point for the console. All of those little nuisances you mentioned do make a PS3 more favorable to the 360, but I am very happy with the current gen consoles (360/Wii) that I have in my possession and I wouldn't trade them for a PS3 any day.

I agree, I think that each console supports a pretty good user friendly interface that makes it unique from the other next gen systems. However, I DO feel that Microsoft could have been a little more creative in developing the NXE because it really rips off the whole "Mii" concept from Nintendo badly.

settings? well for the in-game stuff, usually theres an option in the menu's. For instance H3 has the Communication settings which you can adjust. I think everything should be kinda defaulted so that all you do is plug n play!

Yes, but opinions matter from people that actually have both systems. Don't get me wrong, the Xbox is a great system, but the PS3 has a lot more options open which are starting to be used. It's going to be like the PS2 where the system was shitty in the beginning and kicked ass in the end.

I know the Avatars may look the same as the Mii's , but they are not, I don't know exactly if the Mii's are usable in specific games or w/e, but the Avatars can be used in some arcade games, and they are looking to make more Avatar Enabled.

And I know the 360's Dashboard looks like the PS3's startup board or w/e you want to call it, but it is different, I'm not going to go into how it is EXACTLY different, but if you tried the 360 Dashboard and then the PS3 one, you'd know. :)

hmm. I've just got Ps3 Home 1.0 Beta. Man, no comparisons, the Mii Thing on the X360 is nice uptade to live, but it's MILEs and MILES diferent and away from home. Imagine Home like a GTA, where the citzens are Ps3 users, you can me people, go to game, met people just talk (voice or keyboard), found closed clubs, do private parties, with music and video, just met people and play an arcade game, like friends on a shopping, play bowling, play poll. It's really fun if you don't forgot your real life
