I went to LA from a small village in north west England when I was 20 to try and make it as a filmmaker/writer/director. I had passion and determination, and remember the 1st night i walked down Hollywood Blvd, and thinking how lucky I was. But I knew I wasn't ready really. I stayed in Hollywood or almost a year and had the time of my life, before flying back that same christmas to London. Part of me wishes I'd stayed, but part of me know's I was right to not go to LA anymore.
