  • love it i saw this one all the time, prob depend what country your in. lol it's red crack!

  • Maybe this was shown more in Canada than in the US.... maybe that makes it rare; where you live!

  • it says rare ending, but this is the only ending i remember

  • I only saw the one with the sundays at the ending.

  • For some reason this was my favorite ending. And the only one I really recall.

    Mmmm. red stuff... =P

  • @L00NGB00W XD Me too! Red powder!

  • You'll have good luck after watching this. Nostalgia has that effect.

  • I watched this for the first time in at least 30 years 2 weeks ago, and I cannot get this song out of my head. HELP!

  • @70Kenny - The song is "When I'm Not Near the Girl That I Love", from "Finian's Rainbow". Jim Henson did a lot of collaborating with Raymond Scott (a bandleader & composer best known for composing the really cool backing music used in classic WB and "Ren & Stimpy" cartoons). However, Scott was also an electronics engineer, who invented amazing synthesizers. Whenever you hear synthesized tones on early "Sesame Street" segments, you're hearing Scott's work.

  • @OofusTwillip Fantastic information, Thank you very much

  • Finally I found this classic piece of art.

  • Oh no! They killed it!

  • This was not a rare ending.

  • @jtomally9681 - Yes it is. This is the original ending, which a lot of kids thought showed the ball being killed in the grinder. So, after only airing a few times, the segment was pulled, and the ending was changed to the one with the 3 cherries dropping onto 3 sundaes.

  • @OofusTwillip I don't know what you're talking about because I saw this ending all the time and the three cherries ending I saw rarely.

  • this used to be my favorite episode...and y lie? it still is :D

  • Nice carousel music!

  • This is also the version that I remember. My fave clip from Sesame Street ever!

  • Yes! This is the one I remember seeing. Thanks for putting this up!

  • This was always played when the number 3 was the number sponser of the day

  • Yeah isn't the sundaes version the rare one? I know I saw this version many times, and don't remember the sundaes.

  • This is the ending I saw as a kid, so I guess I got lucky. I used think how amazing it is that powder comes out.

  • I used to love this when I was was little. I hadn't seen it in almost thirty years, but I remembered it so well! I used to dream about having something like this in the house.

  • I for some reason like this ending better.

  • me too

  • I can only imagine how long this took to make.
