Express Stave is a notation I invented without sharps and flat signs. It simply has 12 notes for the 12 notes, all octaves look similar. THe noteheads are white (hollow) for naturals, black for sharps or flats. The pitch axis is exactly proportional graphically. Unlike other alternative music notation systems , all chords and intervals are a similar size and shape to traditional.

I am currently working on incorporating Express Stave into a beginners piano method for very young kids (4yo) as a kind of pre-traditional notation reading. They can play the black keys just as easily as the white. I also call the black keys by their own letternames, H, I, J, K and L. See my other vidoes if interested.
