  • arruma esse quarto garoto...

    ahahah

  • OMG I want it

  • @shockermethod Wouldn't it have to be a pretty small camera?

  • Dobsonians are awesome but you can't take pictures with them

  • That telescope looks like a gun that takes down choppers.

  • @astgraphicnovel motar?

  • @CrazedGunman502 ??? Do you mean mortar?

  • I had to admit, my first reaction "Damn some helium kid", but you area actually awesome!

  • i wish i had ur telescope!!! great vid

  • Very refreshing to see an intelligent and curious young person; you fall within a small percentage of the population, Jason. Nice telescope and very cool name. :)

  • Good vid!

  • You know your stuff Jason!! Good job and keep at it.

  • Really nice vid

  • nice planet?...really?

  • Good work kid

  • He is so smart . It is awesome to see how passionate he is about it. I bet he will become an astronomer or an astronout :-) Good Job!

  • nice video how much does a piece of equipment like that cost- I'm thinking about buying a cheap starter scope it's got 295 times magnification do you think this will do ok

  • what kind is that bro

  • This kid doesn't deserve the whole telescope... I'm 17 years old and I have been using my xt8 for A LONG time...

  • @hkchoi456

Name one good reason why he doesn't deserve it

  • Happy easter!

  • i cant wait till he never uses it and I HAVE TO SELL IT

  • hey mate. I'm from germany. What telescope would you recommend for a beginner like me. I live in the city but not central. so the sky is still pretty dark at night. I'm more interested in deep sky watching than planet watching even if i find this very interesting as well.

I got about 450 to spend.

I hoped you could give me some advise, since we have very few shops in my region that sell telescopes. Cheers.

    Jo

  • How did you get the star chart? The only ones I can find are just simple print-off ones with none of that turning stuff, lol.

Gread vid, and awesome scope :)

  • Good work..greettings from spain!!

  • Good work kid

  • Hes gonna be a Genius when he grows up!

  • What type of telescope is it ? Great video!

  • kool

  • Nice scope dude. I have the same one. Here's hoping for clear skies for ya :)

  • You have the potential to become an astronomer my friend!

  • geek

  • I envy you.

  • @mulleolsen: Maybe he saved the money himself?

    If not:

We are ALL spoiled kids in the 1st world. Even the poorest kids in england are "spoiled" - in comparison to 90% of the 3rd world kids... So what?! What is better? Burnin your money by smoking, drinking, getting cancer (plus a therapy for 50k bucks even when it´s too late) - or enjoying your life, spending the money for long-lasting interesting things, buying your kids the instruments it is dreaming of?

  • Good job, Jason. You seem passionate this subject. Stay with it. You are a smart young man.

  • You are a sooooooooooo spoiled kid

  • 0:40 Hahahaha his face xD

  • ive got the same telescope exept its white ! nice job kid

  • Thats sick !! :D

  • mamu ti jebem kakav teleskop imas, odakle ti pare :D

  • I suggest you keep the cover on the scope while not in use, it would be a shame if your little sister accidentally dropped something heavy down to the mirror. But good vid kid

  • oohh nice boy you're amazing, hihihi your sist is so cute :D

  • you must have been a really good kid this year, ho ho ho!

  • this kid is awesome :)

  • There r knobs on the back to focus?!?!?! HOLY SHIT BRO!!!! YOU JUST SAVE ME AND MY TELESCOPE!!!!! Nowni know how to focus it thank you so much. I'm 14 and a young amateur astronomer and somehow...you save me. Thank you brother. Oh an how did you record your telescope? Did you just put the camera lens on the telescope lens?

  • suuup kid!? nice tele.

    A hello from morocco :)

  • Well done little boy, nice jobbb!!!!

  • Hi, Nice telescope. I thought if you did not know of this FREE Software Regi Stax 5 go to GOOGLE and look it up. You look smart enought to use it :-) Clear Sky to you.

  • nice i hop i get one but i cant becous we r in iraq

  • How much was that!

  • Random baby ftw

  • very nice scope and very nice video, you are a very smart kid, i hope you continue exploring the sky and i wanna see more videos

  • hey nice scope. I have a smaller version of the scope 6 inch. I would buy a larger version but i wouldnt be able to move it around.i also have a 130mm evostar refracter aswell. I only use the dob for mostly planetary views. I also do view some deep space clusters etc. good video btw. I wish when i was your age i had a 10inch dobsonian. but in the uk they are alot more expensive i think a 6 inch version is 300 pounds or aroun 600 dollars a 10 inch would be around 600 so around 1200 dollars.x2!

  • Muy interesante , gracias

  • Nice scope!

  • hey, if you dont mind, how much do i needd to get one of that telescope?

  • Cool =)

  • all for astronomy. telescopes, mounts, accessories, service and more

    hoo-germany.de

  • nice video!!:)

  • Thats a little fucking hubble.

  • Back then, we saw the rings almost edge on, so it was pretty difficult to get a good view of them. This year, Saturn's rings are more tilted. Have you seen Saturn this year already? Definitely worth checking it out. Especially with a 10 inch telescope.

  • Well done. I'm 34 and just got my first telescope. It's only a 114 though.

  • This 200mm ? Orion xt8 ?

  • good video ,nice one kid .

  • cool video, im 13 J and have the same teleskop ;)

  • @fsxworldtourfilms you're not too bright are you? That's ok. Mentally challenged dicks like you deserve their two cents on the Internet I guess.

  • Good video! I've been wanting a Dobsonian. The moon you saw was Titan. Anyway, Saturn is a pretty awesome planet. :)

  • very good presentation! kudos your one hell of a luck kid to have that . im thinking of buying one myself=D

  • very nice :)

  • better keep a cap on that thing!

  • nice vid, I've been interested in astronomy since i was 10

  • You cant see stars behind saturn because they are dimmer? are you stupid? you cant see them because the relative distance increase i.e the area between the stars relative to what you see increases so when you focus on saturn you are looking at a very very very small chunk of space and the stars become displaced.

  • A planesphere will not help you find planets..... Kid.

  • @parusatereatsnuts Yeah it will, haha

  • @CutByAngels Eh, no it won't. They're not on them.

  • @parusatereatsnuts Look on the back, Saturn, Jupiter, Venus & Mars...

  • @CutByAngels That's planetary tables and not the planesphere itself and the "first of the month" RA's will not help anyone pick out a planet to any usefulness. If you're such a beginner where you look up and not know you're looking at a planet and indeed which one these tables will not help you, they require other data inputs.

So I say again, planesphere's do not help you find planets. The tables might tell you roughly but I'll thank you again for your internet commando pedantism.

  • @parusatereatsnuts Ohhhh... I seeee... sorry :) I tend to use Stellarium :)

  • Great stuff. Always great seeing the next generation getting into astronomy. Best of luck.

  • SPOILT BRAT..........I'M JEALOUS :)

  • How do you people think he is clever? Just because he said some stuff about the relecting scope and the basic difference of a refractor which he didn't even explain. Hate this kid, you should have been given like a 4 inch refractor or something not that.

  • @fsxworldtourfilms Yep.. XT10 is an advanced scope, certainly far beyond what this kid should need.

  • Great video dude! Thats a nice telescope.

  • You are my newest hero. I wish your generation was more like you.

  • @DangerD205 I'm 15, nearly 16, and I love Astronomy!!! :D I love the sense of the unknown and what else man can find out there, its truly mind-bending :)

  • lucky kid...bet ur papis bought it tho huh

  • I just picked up the same scope last week! I currently only have the 25mm that came with it, but I will be soon getting a Zhumell 9mm planetary eye piece and a moon/glow filter. I had a 4" meade Newtonian as a kid and am getting back into this. I checked out Jupiter last night with the 25mm and could see banding. I am hoping to see a bit more with the 9. Please don't tell me that at this age you moved this thing around much by yourself. I am 30 and 6ft and have a hard enough time.

  • Superb in telling about how to locate stars

  • @dorncat that was she said :O

  • nice but this catagory of telescopes u cant have look at at da chick next door, i mean u cant use for land view

  • It's obvious you know a lot about astronomy and the design differences between refracting and reflecting scopes (and I'm sure catadioptric as well). Well done! Good job, buddy - keep it up and who knows, you can end up teaching astronomy at the college level or better yet, chief scientist at the JPL some day! Thanks for sharing your knowledge and wisdom :)

  • petit fils a papa

  • pfff ton commentaire n a rien a faire ici

    cordialement

  • nice vid. about to get an 8 inch myself. also what magnification are you using. thanks

  • Nice video buddy. And awesome scope.

    @antartica4321 it's called a planisphere

  • damn! i have never seen a HUGE telescope like that!!! what make is it??? wow! is it expensive? thanks for the video - it's opened my eyes! haha

  • @pofrani looks like Orion's XT10... like 600 bucks or so....

    nice scope dude.

  • good job buddy!!

  • dats big

  • Sweet Scope man.... rite now i am gettin a good look at Venus about 20mins and then its gone... good video man....

  • awesome telescope

  • Awsome video. I just bought this exact same scope last month. I have seen star clusters, nebulas, and galaxies with it so far. Juipter looks GREAT right now. I missed Saturn, Mars, and Venus by about a week. They will be back again soon though.
