  • @ilikeapplepieyum The song's title in Chinese means Ten Sighs and is about the sufferings of a songstress. In old China, a girl could go from a restaurant to a restaurant (usually with a musician dad) entertaining patrons and earn a living for her and her dependents from the tips given by kind patrons. The singer, Teresa Teng, of Taiwan was one of the most famous singers of her time. Alas she died aged 42 on May 8, 1995 from asthma complications.
