@123jsbach No offence taken. I was just surprised. And I do know how easy it is to make a statement on the internet that you would not normally make, believe me. And even when I say something after carefull reflection, once I read it back I sometimes wonder how I could make such a stupid or useless statement. (Besides, my English isn't too good. Perhaps I should just listen and keep my fingers off the keys)

@jacobbruinsma sometimes statements and opinions can be taken too literally- the internet isnt ideal for making any deep and meaningful conversations as far too many things can be misinterpreted; I did assume that you were being judgemental, and I suppose it annoyed me a bit. in glasgow people say gie yersel a slap meaning” talk sense”, this is what i was really meaning. i am not suggesting that you should actually inflict pain on yourself. that would be unpleasant.

@jacobbruinsma Also i am not saying this is my all time favourite song, but it is cute. i wouldnt let every tom, dick or harry know i quite like it but sometimes its ok to drift through and listen to songs that you wouldn’t usually and generally “like” them. As far as making mistakes in comments go, I find the delete button works quite well. Nobody is perfect. i cant see any problem with your english? peace and love mate! x

We like the song but have a different preference. I made a judgement , you're right. And I do realize that there may be a tad difference between Glasgow and Amsterdam. Gie yerself a slap? I did not know the expression. I would have understood it way better, though. Sorry.
