When you move forward while flying it... the air hitting against your hands gets "refracted" and the air travels upwards hitting the under surface of the wings, plus the surface of your hands release a lot of heat, so the "hot air" balloon effect is taking effect (high pressure), its able to fly because 1. Its super light... and 2. It is able to be lifted because of the air "refraction" (excuse my ignorant terms, I have little literacy knowledge when it comes to aerodynamics.) And 3. Hot air :)

This glider is one of the more difficult to build, trim and fly. Have you tried the tumblewing?
