  • amazing audio you got on that hand held.

somebody in the audience is real flat on the chorus.

    awesome.

  • @tomitstube probably me! My voice was so fucked after all the screaming :D

  • @MagellanOfBass ~ lol, that's what happens when you can't hear yourself. : )

  • Whether you took the up elevator or the down one (yeah, I know it's all theater really) I hope it was the one you wanted.

    Sorely missed, fondly remembered.

  • Rest in peace Ronnie James Dio... The voice of metal... :(

    (10-Jul-1942 16-May-2010)

I am lucky I was able to see him live just this one time, back in 2007...

He wasn't supposed to go now, despite his age he wouldn't hide that he wanted to go on doing what he loved for a lot longer still...

    You are already missed. :(

"Now the ball is over, it's time to get back home..." :'(

  • R.I.P. ....RONNIE !

  • gonna see them may 10th here in brazil.

    cant wait.

  • I saw this band the following day at Brighton. Best metal gig I think along with Megadeth, Dream Theater and Iron Maiden.

  • So far I can remember, Die Young is a track from the album Heaven and Hell.....isn't it?

  • Yes. And one of the best in it as well. :)

  • Yes. The song is from Heaven and Hell but the intro is different then from the album. It was created back in 1989 during the Headless Cross Tour.

  • One of my favorite intros of all time. Guess that's why he's left it pretty unchanged for the last 19 years. To view the original he created back in 1989 just search "die young with tony martin". It is the first video from the Headless Cross tour of 1989. Tony Martin recorded 6 albums with them; The Eternal Idol 1987. Headless Cross 1989. Tyr 1991. Cross Purposes 1994. Forbidden 1995. Regardless of a opinion he's a great GREAT singer who never got the credit he deserved (ever).

  • No question Tony was and is a great vocalist...He just never had what Ozzy or RJD did as far as stage presence...and the songs just never delivered the shivers and adrenaline that Die Young, Sign of the Southern Cross, Snow Blind etc. did. Listen to this crowd...No song featuring Tony Martin would be screamed out by the fans like this one was..sad but true.

  • the intro is different than the one i first heard i like this one better though

  • what

  • I was right at the front at this show on the side of the stage Tony was on for most of the show (apart from this solo), I caught one of his picks and he waved to me, BLOODY BEST GIG I'VE EVER SEEN, TONY IOMMI IS THE MAN!!!!!!!

  • Me too!

    Iommi is God!

  • I was there too mate!........ rocking like fucking mad .......... RONNIE now must re-form RAINBOW ......... long live rock n roll

  • Hi PENETRASAURO. While Deep Purple managed to struggle on without Ritchie, it could never happen with Rainbow. Rainbow was always Ritchie's band. Granted, the Dio years were the best spell that band ever had but Rainbow without Blackmore will never happen.

  • What do you mean?...Rainbow without Ritchie Blackmore did happen!!..And it was a HUGE success!...They called it DIO..lol

  • I was there too!!!

    AMAZING. Tears flow!!!
