i have the same exxact car but dark blue, and bone stock. how much did this cost yu? i've been wanting to let mine breathe since i have the stock exhaust and the way yu did your exhaust system came out beautiful. i'm happy with my car but i want to make more power. what's is the best,cheapest exhaust system you know for this car?i'm only 16 and am in love with the car, only wish it could be stick but then again it's such a good car i dont mind the automatic.
hey brother, no problem i'm with ya, i was referring to the comment made by the guy who decided to comment (Rescue 76-screen name) on this video who has a "Grand Marquis sleeper" not you man! i respect the hell out of the Marks... i got a 98 LSC and love it. I got 4.10s trac-lok, and dyno and i beat Mustang Gts regualarly and that's less than $1500 invested on a car i got for $6500. THAT'S why i'm with ya on this one. The guy in the Marquis would have to probably spend $10k or more.
wtf u talking about? It's a 97 Mark VIII it's got a 4.6L motor similar to a Mustang GT but instead of SOHC it's got Dual Overhead Cam. Do homework son
@bgdsub72 You need to do a bit more homework yourself. The 4.6 engine in your Mark is a 4v that they based the Cobra/Mach 1 engine off of. Not the GT's 2valve 4.6
@harorider95 Back pressure is not whats needed. In fact, back pressure is bad. Its an effect that is synonymous with back pressure called the "scavenging effect" that is needed. There are ways to decrease back pressure (increasing performance) while still maintaining the "scavenging effect"

92 Grand Marquis a sleeper? i dont think so you need a LOT more than mufflers to make that a sleeper. Try a whole different engine for starters
