In all most all of the other preformences by other bands in Abbey Road they have hearing pieces of some sort to hear themselves. I don't think Brandon has any so he can hear everyone around him louder perhaps. You can really hear by the shaking of his voice that he's almost overly excited. Talk about adrenaline rush, standing in the middle of everything there :]

Alright - let me say this first. I LOVE the Killers. They're one of my two favorite bands. Moreover, I love this song. But I really don't like this performance. I was linked here from the Letterman Live performance of this song, which completely blew my mind. Brandon has such incredible energy live, it's really amazing. However, It seems that everyone is trying to hard. Flowers is almost rapping at some point, trying to bring energy that's not there, and the pause at 1:19 is just plain awkward,

I love how everyone can speak for Brandon and give us insight on his emotions during this. How the hell do you know if he's nervous? Everyone for years has been saying that Brandon is SOOOO NERVOUS, at a certain point I think we must accept that it may just be how he performs.

People do have the tendency to react different from one another and maybe, just maybe he performs like he looks nervous....he has been doing this now for some years, I doubt he hasn't been able to become comfortable
