  • I would do anything for that car trying to just buy it

  • 4000

  • 204,939 miles or 104,939...........

  • Karma will give one of their dear relatives cancer or an equal painful death. Not to worry. Obama will also face the same painful solution. The worst President we've ever had.

  • I drove a lot of these on the job. They were great cars.

  • I think there might have been an engine problem that was unfixable (or not worth it). Only 4k miles? Rust HAD to have worked on the engine, dried up seals and stuff... bad bad bad

  • i had a 91 LTD JUST Like this! i mean same color everything just like this :( i hit myself everyday for selling it, the worst part is i know who owns it now but they wont sell it back :(

  • this is just plain sick.

  • Fuck cash for clunkers.

Cars should be driven until they will never move again!

  • Cash to suckers...

  • Comment removed

  • Oh god, if I had a car like this... it´s a fuckin´ shame. MORONS!

  • hell i would have drove it till the fucking wheels came off what a waste

  • This is a waste of a good car. There should have been a high mileage requirement of the cfc program. In terms of fuel economy and emissions this is a modern car, and with its low mileage would pass any emissions test with flyng colors. In terms of emissions it puts out a fraction of what the equivelant 1950 or1960 car would. Still a lot of junkers on the road that should have been scrapped when traded for a car like this.

  • looks brand new! Rip good ford vehicle. I hope the old owner didnt buy any jap scrap...

  • why did you not export this car to germany, in this good shape it will find very soon a buyer..

  • How many 20+ year old cars do you see with under 10k miles? NONE.

Someone track down the owner of this car, and have him subject to the same treatment as this car. I would have broke in there, stole the car, and did a Gone In 60-seconds style swap on the VIN.

  • What a complete waste of good cars. Getting unroadworthy and rust buckets of the road is one thing , but destroying perfectly good cars is utter bullshit. Like Alex462047 said "Send down to Australia" We'll drive 'em.....I would have given the owner of the Crown Vic 5500 bucks for it.and still reckon I got a bargain.

  • @volvor730 I agree with you. This is plain arrogant waste.

I'm from Oz too and we dont see these cars down here.

  • the only question i have to say is: why? why trade in a old school cruiser like this with loads of HP and torque for a sorry ass plastic chinese car with 0 HP and absolutely no torque! the morons who traded this old school highway cruiser probably got a plastic accent or prius! thanks obama thank you very fucking much!

  • That there was no clunker, new toyotas and hondas are the ones that quickly become clunkers.

  • Send it to Aussie!!

  • I left a four columns on another vehicle that cash for clunker that would not die and my god there are some of thee dumess ass people on this planet. I belive the people that turned in thee perfect vehicles and the people that put that stuff in the moters sould be shot and any one that was for it. Im sorry if I up set some one but this is me and i got give a dam.

  • the best running 4dr 5.0 ford ever made

  • @Terence7414 4.9

  • Whoever turned this in deserves to be hanged by the testicles.

  • oh my.. how sad what a shame

  • How sad such a beutiful car :(

  • WHAT A WASTE! IVE GOT A VIC WITH 400,000 on it. THIS CAR MAKES ME TEAR UP!

  • There should be exceptions for some vehicles. The only problem I see with this car is the hood ornament is missing. What a waste of a beautiful car!

  • @crownvicguy Someone may have actually taken it after it was traded in. It was sad, but I took a bunch of hood ornaments and emblems from CFC cars.

  • This car was almost new. It looked to be maintained, too. This CFC program was unbelievably flawed. There's plenty of Americans who could use cheap, reliable transportation. Granted, this car is a gas guzzler, but it could have been donated. This program should have donated most salvageable vehicles to poor families instead of just destroying useable cars.

  • @TurboVW2004 You missed the point, they didn't want the cars illegally exported to say, Mexico. In germany, that's what happened. It also caused ragers like you to provide me free lulz.

  • @HaloSpartanG13 "Lulz" all you want, but illegal exportation of cars will continue to happen anywhere in the world, regardless of government intervention. Secondly, these cars went through DEALERSHIPS, not random people on the street. Dealerships do a thing called "resale" where a person needs money to buy a car, and then that person becomes the new legal owner. Your logic is flawed, sir, just as flawed as the CFC program.

  • @TurboVW2004

    1. The government controled it, by only allowing certain groups to handle it.

    2. They sold shotloads of new cars to dealers under the program, which offered a lot more then these cars were worth.

    So long, gay boy.

  • Fuck sake thats just WRONG how can any1 with such a treasure possibly give up a gem like this car here ? fucking owner's a moron for even doing such a thing !!

  • NO... I did NOT dump my CV to the Cash for Clunkers program!!!!! I traded it on a Ford F-150 long before C4C came along.

  • Jesus H! What a glorious example of Detroit iron! What do people drive today but corporate POS that look like potatoes, insects, cartoon creatures, or refrigerator shipping boxes!

I had a 1990 CV that was a city of Atlanta fleet car. The interior was in great shape and the exterior was good. The rings had lots of blow by but, it ran good and was a great car for me for a few years. I wish I had kept it and had the motor rebuilt. Everybody should try to buy old American cars before they are gone

  • nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

  • Damn idiots! In Sweden we love cars like this. What a fucking waste!

  • Swear to god if i meet the guy who turned this in and they bought a toyota or a honda i'm gonna beat their ass.

  • @KingofComputing ill help ya!!!! i have a 87 grand marquis...w 56 k on her... she was saved!!! asshole here with thiscar... prob doesnt realzie it but that car is worth more than 4500 bucks. on trade in!!!

  • I am in tears. Not even kidding.

  • Cash for Clunker that Grandpas car?

  • No... Please don't let this be true... I am devastated, grievous and bitter.

  • 4.9 as in the straight six, or were you just trying to say the anatomically "correct" litres for the 302?

  • @blackwar12 thought that as well, but when i opened it up said 4.939 miles

  • @blackwar12 the 302. these were either 302s or 351s no straight six was ever in vics.

  • my friend tony traded his car in for new one then lost his job then couldnt make the payments on new car or insurance so now he has no car.. great program.. they should have taking the best clunkers( like this one ) they got and sold or traded them cheap to people with a junk car that couldnt afford a new car, I know a few people that still have real junk cars that didnt get in the program as they knew they couldnt afford the new car bills.

  • @2worldwidevideos Sorry. The objective of Cash For Clunkers was to satisfy the eco-fascist tyrants. Most people who drive older cars don't take care of them and supposedly put out lots of pollution. It would have been "greener" and cheaper to have remanufactured the engines to original specs and sold them back into the market.

The amount of energy locked up in a new car is vastly greater than to remanufacture an old car. Obama and the eco-fascists are blowing green smoke up our asses.

  • I refuse to believe this car was wrecked.....I refuse

  • the cars from the cash for clunkers program ended in a local scrap yard where the motor was removed and parts was sold off the vehicle. which was great for me because they had very decent cheap parts for my car and truck

  • @dawsondawson2008 not legally parts werent allowed by law to be pulled and sold. but im quite sure some were

  • so fucking sad, im looking to buy an 89 with nearly 100k miles on it right now as a second car, i would almost even trade my primary car right now for this, if it hadnt already been crushed ... the salesman at the dealership should have refused to take this as a trade, bought them some 200k+ ex cab, traded them and then destroyed the cab for the C4C bullshit .... makes me want to throw up

  • @drjesus616 I have a 1990 crown vic 40k needs a tranny (police pkg) 5.0 mint, never for police use. I want to sell it contact me at heathcoteexxon@msn.com

  • Leave people free to do something like destroying a car like this is not freedom.

    It's just utter idiocy.

I hope the owner who traded that in goes bankrupt and the day after meets somebody who tells him "pity, I'd gave you 20k bucks for that crown vic"

  • how much this junt runnin for

  • damn dats sad...i got a 89 vic im in love wit damn yo

  • Are they crazy!!! There are many people who are dying buy this car!!!

  • "This was no clunker. This was a near classic."

    -85fordman

    AGREED

  • Thank god this dumbass program is over.

  • should have been a chevy that got crushed

  • Are you fucking kidding me? I hope this is a joke. I would have paid $10,000 for that car! They don't make them like this anymore. Ones in that condition are really rare. What pile of junk did they trade this beauty on???? This car represented fine American craftsmen ship....when cars were really beautiful and lasted forever. What a waste. This was no clunker. This was a near classic.

  • A CLUNKER IS A CLUNKER NO MATTER WHAT I WISH THEY COULD DO THE SAME WITH THE NEW FORD F150 OR THE HUMMERS I MEAN WHO THE FUCK BUYS SUCH A WASTE OF MONEY?

  • WHAT IN THE FUCK???

  • i would have fuckin bought that! god damn it

  • You see what a WASTE this program is? My Alcoholic, Crack Head neighbors, who are Already on EVERY kind of Gov’t Handout could’ve used a NICE, BIG CLUNKER to Drive around in so They’d be SAFE when they run into something. I’m SURPRISED the Pres. Didn’t think of this; These are His “Peeps”.

  • just bought a 88 vic looks just like that one but that one is mint wut a waste

  • I think this made me sick, I gotta go puke now...,,,

  • OH MY FUCK

I would have gladly paid $4000 for this car...

  • This is just a crime! :-(

  • vote vote vote vote vote vote VOTE ! we can NEVER let this happen again ! i have never felt so strongly about something before DEMOCRATS YOUR DONE i dont care whos running i would rather have a total idiot than anyone who thinks this was a good idea

  • What a shame!! I'm crying I really am!! As a proud owner of a Crown Victoria, I'm so sad to see this BEAUTIFUL example of a car get junked...cuz the owner was too stupid to realize he coulda sold it on ebay, to SOMEONE who'd actually CARE for it, for twice as much as he got for the "Clunkers" program, being in that beautiful shape!!! What a dumbass!! I'd take that car ANY day! >(

  • Wow, I'm not much of a Ford guy, but this car is in prestine condition, pretty sharp lookin Vic, its a shame it went to waste.

  • My grand parient used to had that car accept its a 88 LTD it was a very nice car.

  • If i was multi millionaire, I would be buying these timeless classics; its a lucrative business to sell these things back or keep the ones that you really want.

  • WOW!

  • Could have sent these cars to africa, where they need em. you've would have a whole new generation of american car enthusiasts.

  • no, okay, just no... only 4,900 miles? What was the owner? A freaking retard or somehting? Why would you trade this yacht in for a stupid little gay japanese car? Did their boyfriend tell them to do it? huh? Didn't want to look like a man when you drive anymore?

    Idiots.

  • Such a Damn Shame and Waste!!!! the Big O is a Dick!!! Glad i didnt vote for him

  • OMG Such A Beautiful Car Bein Crushed :..(

  • WWWWWWWWWaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!! I love crown vics from this year and there going to kill it nnnnnnnnnnnnnnooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • sad!!!

  • what heartless asshole would crush that, cant the dealers resell it, an what dumb dumb excuse for a human would give that car away to the cash for clunkers program, that car is priceless an can get 24 on hwy an 18 to 20 on road

  • @tadeh3 I've talked to several dealerships about this. The cash 4 clunkers program wasn't their fault, you can thank Obama and his clown ass administration. Dealerships were required BY LAW to destroy every vehicle that qualified as a "clunker"... even if the car is only 2 years old or very low miles. If the dealerships didn't follow a certain protocol or didn't destroy the "clunkers", they could face heavy fines.

  • @92ASC ya ur right i cant blame the dealership, man thats some bs, wow, i wonder what the penalty is if u dont destroy the car, stupid obama what a dick

  • I don't understand why all these assholes that buy new cars are doing just to save money at the pump. It's more economical to keep your old car without any car payments and spend more at the pump than it is to buy a brand new one that costs $300-350/month.

  • What the government should have done is sold the cars that were still nice. I am assuming they didn't do this because of the commie "green movement" which as we know made them crush the cars that people gave them. Which is hypocritical because doesn't that hurt the environment? Not that I care at all about the environment.

  • Why not crush all the good American cars and use our tax dollars to pay for small foreign made cars that are over priced, wont last 20 yrs, and only get better mileage because they use less steel to make them.?

  • whos the dumbass that let that nice ass car go for the feds just so he could get a new car...i would love to have that car

  • man i would of loved to have dis car!

  • this is fucking insane.

  • you should take this video off youtube... just looking at this makes me sick such a gorgeous car...

  • The CV/GM 302 does 20MPG combined EPA.

If we waste good cars, we might as well love BP for spilling oil.

  • oh goodness gracious. this car is perfect. i have a '90 with only 75k original miles, but this thing is even nicer. i can't believe how utterly retarded "cash for clunkers" was. what a waste of awesome american steel...

  • That is NO clunker. That is ONE SWEET RIDE!!!

    NOO!!!!!!!

  • I am proud to say that I traded in my Jap made mini-van for a nice big, reliable and safe Ford Expedition then went out and bought a very nice used Ford Explorer 5.0 as well. These will be at least 2 American made vehicles that won't be wasted in a crusher!

BTW both get almost the same mileage as the mini-van did.

  • I don't understand this stupid program because that Crown Vic is not only hard to find in that condition but it also will get 25+ miles per gallon!!! Wasn't that what the program was SUPPOSED to be about, getting OLD, UNSAFE, GAS GUZZLERS off the road?! A lot of these cars being destroyed are anything but that WTF.

It is certainly MORE safe than a Toyota Prius or econo box.

  • hey guys you know why america is so fucked? because some idiot thought it was a good idea to bring negroes from africa to america... turns out it wasn´t after all

  • @h8ascooter thats not the reason....its because we have racist people like you who somehow thinks that under your skin you are somehow better than someone with a different skin tone. I don't agree with this clunkers program, but if you think you can do a better job, why don't you run for president. At least that would give you a chance to run your mouth for a purpose other than to promote division and tension.

  • jesus christ. that car was a beautiful car. now its probably a beer can or 2. this is what pisses me off. i got an 88 lincoln town car that needs some TLC but i would never trade it for that fuckin program. its just pathetic.

  • this country has gone to shit. I hate the state this country is in this is fuckin crazy

  • so sad. i own a 91 vic, it's a lot rougher than this but it runs good and i NEVER would have considered trading it in on this stupid program.

  • this person probably bought a freakin toyota or honda... >:-T

  • This is literally heart breaking...What has this FUCKING COUNTRY COME TO? What happen to American Pride? What happened to Loving our American cars? Who gives a fuck about a Toyota Prius or Honda Civic Hybrid? I don't give a shit about ANY foreign SHIT BOX.... Anyone that buys a foreign car needs to get the FUCK out of the UNITED STATES of AMERICA.

  • @scott93257 Too right! I'm Australian, born and bred and LOVE these older American cars. I own several and would NEVER get rid of them for a new car. This whole program is absolutely pathetic and like the idiotic sheep that some people are, they have thrown away potentially valuable and historic American automobiles for a couple of grand because Obama said so. Christ Almighty!!!

  • i have an almost identical 89 grand marquis....different dash and taillights but same color in and out, vinyl top,interiour...55,000 original miles...i got it out of a barn for a grand....it gets 24 mpg...come to Indiana and I'll prove it.....I love this car...

  • As clean as this car is, and with the lack of wear and tear - I'd say it's possible it really only has 4939 miles. Keep in mind the market for this car when new - a granny/grandpa mobile. Could have been parked in a garage for years.

  • Anyone who trades cars in like this,

SATAN is waiting for you, MURDERER.

  • @TheJpill

And I would like to personally send that person to hell... Run their fucking pathetic asses over with my 65 Chevy C20 Pickup..They are fookin pathetic greedy fucks...That car would have lasted another 20 years at least... Fooking Old Fuck bags

  • Didn't they get 22mpg? My parents had one, and it got 22mpg. American v8, 22MGG!!!! How much does a piece of s*** toyota get? 24? Well, at least you'll be able to pay your medical bills as it accelerates out of control into on comming traffic. And the stupid award goes to.... Keeping your old car if it's in good condition is actually "greener" than buying a new one that wont last as long: The company wont have to waste resources building a new car. This is just freaking pitiful!

  • really enjoyed the video up until the end. just plain sad.

  • The interior is badly faded but otherwise this is a well taken care of 104,939 mile Crown Vic. Apparently the maker of this video is gullible enough to believe the five digit odometer hasn't flipped.

  • I agree 104,939 miles.

  • This video is more disgusting than 2 girls 1 cup. This is what happens when you elect a Socialist to the Whitehouse.

  • Very true!

  • why would some one want to turn in that car in such mint shape

  • The Pic at 1:38 is a Photochop. The Crown Vics had a 6-Digit Display for the Odometer....This only has 5. This car prolly had 204 939 Original Miles. Still sad to see it go to waste lke that

  • or mabey it rolled over

  • Crown Vics did NOT get 6-digit odometers until 1992.

  • @Machshop2

Explain why my both of my 90 LTD Crown Vic's had a 6-Digit Odometer then Asshole...I have pictures to proove it.....get your facts right

  • @1999lev Thats because you are in Canada. Ford's in the 80s had 6 digits because they were measured in kilometers. Here in America, Ford had 5 digit odometers on some of their cars up until as late as 1995.

  • I own a 1985 Crown Vic, same engine and tranny as this one. It has only 59,650 miles on as of last night driving home from work. I can't afford a new car, and when I see cars like this get cash for clunker'd it down right pisses me off. I love my vic, I imagine it'll probably outlast our Astro and anything we buy after that. Screw Obama, great idea if it weren't so stupid from the start, so many good and great cars just wasted! Must be nice to be rich and have all he wants: "Lord Obama!"

  • ur exactly fucking right !

  • make sure we get all the trash out of Washington DC next election!

  • @whiterangers1984 I HATE the fact that I lost my 1969 Ford Galaxie 500 to some similar bullshit like that. Only difference is, mine was towed while I was at work. These sons of bitches want us to turn in our beloved classics. And for what!? A small amount of cash, barely enough to purchase a fucking Bicycle. Then only the "WEALTHY" can afford a "NEW" car. And if your credit is as bad as mine, you are "FUCKED"!! And Ford doesn't make "REAL" sedans anymore. Except for that new punk ass Taurus.

  • @whiterangers1984 no shit Eh? this one pissed me off. and no parts from these can be sold off legally either. hell if anythign they should have pulled the title so it could never be registered, and just parted it out

  • WTF!!!!! some little fagot probably inhereted that car from his grand pah and was to much of a stupid bastard to realize what they had. damn those cars last forever. what a fucking waste of a nice car.

  • I would have bought that car even after the motor was blown.

  • Barack Osama

Sorry, I meant to say Obama bin Ladin

  • my friend's dad has one of these...600k miles and still running strong!

  • im heartbroken

  • Any car enthusiast will be heartbroken.

Cash for Clunkers was a good idea, only poorly executed. Our addiction to consumerism is accelerating product obsolescence, and look at what happens: a perfectly useful car, wasted. Damn!

  • Comment removed

  • What the hell! I could have collected that Vic. My dream car.

  • What a stupid waste. There are so many needy families who desperately need a vehicle who could have used these C4C cars. This just another example of what a wasteful society we live in. There's no reason they couldn't have donate these vehicles to honorable organizations like Helping Hands of America, for example. Just a shame.

  • I would of snuck this one under the radar and kept it screw the govt

  • que locuraaaaa.... stupid cash for clunker program. a nice car is blown up engine. love v8 ford. argentina.

  • why didn't they donate to volunteer organizations?

  • If the mileage on this car is this low for it's age, the motor is probably gone anyway from internal corrosion. Rubber parts are dry rotted. It looks like a nice car, but it would need reconditioning because is was not driven much.

  • whats considered too low mileage per year?

people are buying cars from the 70s with 5-10k miles for 25-30k

are you sure the engines are that far gone?

  • @bsmack66 You have no idea.

  • Ok I totally disagree with the C4C program but who in their right mind is stupid enough to actually trade a car as clean as this under the program, I mean to some this is a collector car. I totally hate Fords but thats besides the point, this car could have gotten a needy family to work and school, now thats ecomonic stumulus, not crushing cars that have tons of useful life left in them.

  • wow that thing is clean!

  • Why is america stupid?

  • Because the government runs our public schools. Fox in charge of the hen house.

  • they don't crush them right away they have up to 180 days to be parted out at the junk yard.

  • Many of them ARE crushed right away because dealers don't have the staff to process all their cars efficiently. All valuable parts that aren't bought up in 180 days are scrapped. Typically wasteful and destructive, liberal Democrat program.

  • only 4900 miles dame that sounds like it was only only used to go local church

  • what did they do crush it.

  • Does anyone realize this Ford could have easily gone over 200K miles? Only a mental midget-Obama voter would trade this car in for destruction. So sad that so many American Classics went for throw away import plastics...MORONS!

  • I drove by the dealership yesterday and the car is gone after almost 2 months. It was so sad its on its way to the crusher as we speak. :(

  • it might come down to people not knowing what is about to happen to their old cars. i refuse to believe everyone is told the engine will be seized at whatever rpm's the guy behind the wheel wants (supposed to be 2000 - 3000 rpms)and the car scapped

  • Tell me how this car is worth less than $4500. What moron traded this car in?

*** PUT IT ON EBAY!! HELLO! ****

  • Maybe they were losing their job and had to relocate. Selling a car on ebay takes time and energy these people might not have had, given the current state of the economy. Plus you have to fix it up pretty good to make people even want to buy it instead of another car. They are not responsible for what the new owner--the government--does to this property. The real question is why didn't Obama put it up on ebay and return the money back to the taxpayers? That's what Sarah Palin would have done.

  • These are tough financial times. People are making economic decisions that might make perfect sense for their situation. Consider that it costs a lot of money to sell a vehicle if it needs a lot of work. You've got to fix it up to where people will buy it instead of a similar vehicle in better condition. C4C offered the chance to instantly get $4500 without a lick of work. Maybe it was their best deal given economic uncertainty.

  • If you're losing your job, why would you trade in your car to get a new one? Shouldn't you be driving the old one? And anyone who would trade this particular beautiful car in probably lacks both financial and common sense. They could have just listed on ebay (for FREE) put the reserve at $4500 and saw what would happen.

  • These photos tell nothing about how the engine was running or how it was likely to remain running. Someone with a decent amount of savings who just lost their job could reasonably decide that trading the risk of catastrophic engine failure with this car, for a small car payment on a cheap car under warranty was the wisest decision. They might have no idea how many miles theyll be driving to their next job and cant take a chance with the Ford and gas prices.

  • Someone changing jobs, or who just lost their spouse is going through enough of a life change that they're not interested in learning how to use ebay. Everyone isn't like you. They know stuff you don't know. You know stuff they don't know. This is something Obama doesn't understand. Don't be like Obama! He's the idiot with no financial and common sense, passing judgement on all of us. If these Democrats are smart enough to handle health care, why'd they buy then trash this nice car?

  • That car is a Classic!!!! Fuck c4c

  • SAD!...This person traded this beautiful older Ford and alls it did wrong was get poor fuel mileage for some plastic piece of crap car...just a guess... but what a sad waste of a perfectly nice car. Our wonderful government at its finest. Cash for Clunker's..was.a absolutely STUPID program.

  • Stupid program by stupid people who chant "Yes We Can! Yes We Can!"

  • My '88 Crown Vic averages over 20 MPG, and that would be driving everyday and filling up about every 2 weeks. The one thing that I tell people is that "it's not as bad on gas as you'd think".

It's a shame and a SIN to have this done to such a great car. I hope somebody saves it!

And to the poster, is this the same Vic that was parked in front of the '00 Suburban that you posted?

  • @Truckman2500 even though its nice somebody probably wouldnt pay more then 3500 dollars for it im sure they had it on the lot for a while but nobody bought it so they did what they had to do.
