I know this is a once in a life time experience and i think i would enjoy it. but i still have plenty of time to think about it and im also planning on going to the air force academy. we'll see maybe a different branch or job will catch my eye. but thank you for taking the time to post these videos for others like me :)
I like the last bit of this video. It points to the individual. All good comes from within. Not from the faceless powers that would take credit for the bravery that the souls of this country demonstrate daily... and it's not just the soldiers who demonstrate bravery, it's also the mothers, fathers, working class blue collared people that struggle to put food on the table that keep this country moving, that work their fingers to the bone... we all have a hand in this... Think of a soldier as a race horse. They are trained to run, but what if a race horse was never allowed to race? They would not be complete in the role of Race Horse. A soldier is a protector and defender. They train and train and when war or other needs arise they rise to the occasion and defend their country and others that cannot defend themselves. Soldeir kill the enemy, thats what we train for.
