@bootysweat44 It's a meme that spawned from the hit game Skyrim. While I haven't played it myself, apparently one of the guards in a town says to the player "I used to be an adventurer like you. Then I took an arrow to the knee." It's easy to swap and paraphrase so it's spread as something popular ^_^
