in the manga homura doesn't appear. his character was created ad hoc only for the anime, to introduce "gaiden", another part of saiyuki manga! Good job!
I know right even though the Homura arc was just a bunch of filler episodes you still gotta give him alot more credit. He's not even in the Saiyuki manga.

I loooove Homura. I still don't think he got enough credit. Through all his awesomeness. Oh and I love the choice of song. Made him creepier.
