question: as time passes does a phone's processor (like the iPhone's) get underclocked or something? Cause after a year of usage my iPhone 3G was a pain in the ass. Couldn't even close apple applications properly.

@H4YD0S Yeah but faster technology is always more expensive and in a year of time that fast technology gets a lot cheaper. I think part of it was a strategic decision but the costs will have been an important factor.

Yes. The "S" in Iphone 3GS stands for speed. I believe the processor was increased to 600 mhz, and the graphics were increased as well. Yeah it's not too big of a difference except it is faster on email and camera's better. The best part is I got a refund of $115 because i bought 3G just before the prices were dropped and then I got the GS. I had just gotten the 3G with AT&T. So I got a better phone, a check and still have good service in the Phoenix area. Best all the way around.

The graphics are better, faster and emails faster. Loads programs faster. Other than that it's the same.

to make the brigthness dimmer is an uncommon thing to do. That's less likely to happen. Gets? I'm not saying it's not possible but it's less likely that he did dim it.

Also, it's not very uncommon to dim the screen. I dimmed my quite a bit down to a level where I can still see the screen very clearly, it saves me a lot of battery time :)
