Absolutely right, but I wouldn't call Olson a 'beat' poet, despite the Black Mountain connection. He probably would have wanted to be known as a 'breath' poet, if anything!
@MrLismahago "If anything!" "Labeling" The Great One is a fool's pursuit. I'm sure he wouldn't stand for it. Olson's Centennial is being celebrated in Gloucester this Fall with readings and tea and whatnot at the you-know-where. Might be about the last get together for what's left of the Olson gang. His play will be presented and that's a once in a lifetime. I would totally download the DVD. Hint Hint.
