hi, i just bought my nikon d5000 and tried to vid the moon last nite but it came out soooo white!!! can u tell me what i did wrong? i tried 3 diff. scope lens as i had it hooked up to my t ring and adapter then to scope. i will use my moon filter next time on my scope lens.
thanx for any help u can give me. what iso did u have it on for this vid?

Great moon shot. Can even see the shimmering caused by Earth's atmosphere. Just 4 more days till the BIG ONE (total solar eclipse). Bet you're excited!

probably a 2000mm telescope on a t-mount ... or could be a 30x or similar adapter.
