I hold certain ideals as non-negotiable- free speech, freedom of expression etc. and these ideals would be lost if Islam had its way.
Everything about the Quran turns my stomach, the lack of equality is just one of many aspects that I despise in Islam.
ALL religion is man made and while elements of "holy" books can be used for positive teachings there are large passages of texts that can be used to justify barbaric behavior.
