  • Questioning authority isn't popular in the workplace? Steve, do you live in America? That's our calling.

  • nice bolo tie gordon gano :)

  • I tried this Y? thing once. Didnt work. They just threatened to fail me

  • Wow! Love the Steve Buscemi as the guidence councillor, also how eerily familiar it was as essentially thats all the career counsellors at my school used to do. Just plug in the career carousel and see what popped up (although in my case the options did seem to be a bit more limited I was never given 'fungus' as a career option, though I was offered options that bought a phrase connected to human faecel matter to mind). What a non job! Funny how a non job gets to determine real jobs!

  • Ellen is a Matheist.

  • haha what the fuck, Janean Garafalo and Steve Buscemi?!

  • if steve buscemi was my guidance counselor i probably would have done a lot more with my life

  • @newbeachinvasion I hear ya beach! If he was my counselor I would've become an anti-tipper in public restaraunts, and possibly a great bowler too lol!

  • omg, i see a small boom mic sticking out @ 1:36 literally under the-n channel logo

  • i want to create my own W.A.R.T. radio station

  • wow Janean Garafalo epic

  • I don't recall ever realizing that Toby Huss (Artie) played the chef in this episode.

  • Ellen: "Why does this matter, Mr. hell5309?"

Me: "It doesn't. The whole point of this course is to teach you how to do algebra; the word problems are just aids, and not very good ones at that. Whether or not you relate it to your life is up to you. I hope you're able to, because that will mean you have something of an interesting career."

  • When Gordon Gano came on, I totally thought he would start singing "Add It Up".

C'mon, he was playing a math teacher. That joke nearly wrote itself.

  • shrek????

  • Violent Femmes!!!!

  • @hellofaname I wish Gordon Gano's part was longer or that he had come back to sing the X song!!! Violent Femmes rock!

  • that dude that plays the substitute is from violent femmes

  • Home Economics teacher = TOBY HUSS :D

  • [Phone rings in the teacher's lounge]

Ms.Brackett: It's them, don't answer. They keep calling and saying I'm a blowhole. I know it's defined as a muscular flat on a sea mammal, but it scares me.

  • The Home-Ec teacher is the same guy who plays Artie, Toby Huss.

  • @JumpingGermans Toby Huss appeared one last time in another episode of "The Adventures of Pete & Pete".

  • dude mrs. fingerwood is hot as fuck.

  • a face job???? lmao

  • I love the home-ec teacher.

  • Facepalm. Those teachers need to back to school to relearn math. *SIGH*

  • It's funny cause all the questions Ellen asks are math questions. Fix the ozone layer? Icecaps melting? Malls going up? Volume, rate of change, and surface area ratios. :p

  • @MrAsiansunite What!? What does that have to do with anything he said or the episode?

  • @MrAsiansunite obvious troll is obvious

  • @puberis Yeah, but does solving a word problem actually result in those problems being solved? No.

  • hey thats janeane garofalo

  • Jesus, Zank is Gordon Gano!

  • 5:56 *scottish accent* DONKEY!

  • i love that laugh!
