  • Awesome, love this song.

  • Very good cover, Actually I think its even cleaner than the original version.

    Where are you from?

  • @cartan1991: I was born and live in Bucaramanga, Colombia. Thank you so much for your comment!

  • @Alvabass

  • I like this kinda of bass playing. I like bass players who know when to just hold the beat/groove and who know when to cut loose with a solo or some great fills. I think this guy has the chops to cut loose if he chose. Got any original music on youtube?

  • great song. i can play the slow intro part, and then the 2nd part which is faster, but i cant play the super fast part. i keep trying but my finger just dont move that fast. i hope i can do it eventually, i plan on playing terminal beach for my final piece for my hsc (high school certificate) exam

  • You are phenomenal to be able to play that shit man. My jaw was dropped watching you play that. Amazing job dude!

  • it's awesome mate!!

    keep well~

  • nice job, your right hand fingers are pretty strong to tap Stu's music, and not too much buzz. If u wanna stop the buzz, practice the bass unplugged.

  • Loving it. (:

  • hey man!

    awesome bass playing!

I started playing this song 2 days ago for my music performance class in yr 12. this video has really helped thankyou

I can get most of it down, but not up to speed yet. when i do ill post a video comment!!

    catch!

  • great man, im gonna try that one

  • sounds like the song remains the same from 30 to 40

  • I'm not a fan of the tappin tecnique, but this video makes me wanna learn more and more about it.

I've already seen lots of tapping solos through youtube, but this one is a rare one, because i can actually hear what you're playing. Congratz!

  • sweet bass, stingray 5, right? im new, but im already fond of those

  • Thank you for your comment! That's a Music Man Bongo 5, man. :)

  • Amazing stuff, great tone. Do you like the Bongo? I was thinking of getting a 4 string one otherwise the same as yours. Love the colour too! Keep up the good work your videos are inspirational :)

  • Amazing! I wish I could tap like that, but I need to train up the strength in my fingers. Is there any techniques you use for that at all? I would love to be able to tap like that!

  • Thank you so much for your comment! :) Have you checked my six-part tapping mini-course on YouTube? I think it's a good way to get started. Please don't hesitate to ask if you need further assistance. Thank you again!

  • Wow I didn't know you had made tapping video lessons! I will definately check that out! Thanks a lot dude, you really make me want to get better at bass! :P

  • is there anywayu cld send me a tab that tight

  • Thank you for your message! I never transcribed this tune because I studied it using Stu's second instructional video "Deeper Inside The Bass" in which he explains how to play it. Anyway, I know there's a tab in stuarthamm dot net under the "tabs" section. Let me know if you need further assistance.

  • really good!

it would sound rad with some effects!

  • Maybe try the hair band below the nut(ala vic wooten) to clean up the overtones in your tapping.

  • wow, thats a great cover Alvaro!

You're very good at tapping.Like you said its not mistake free but its a great take! Your fingers move freely when you tap, its very nice seeing you tap. It'd be great if you did country music, moonlight sonata, or flow my tears. Your Bongo looks awesome and your tone is amazing.

    5/5 pal :]!

  • Thank you for your comment, Ali! I really appreciate it. :)

(BTW, I also recorded and posted "Flow My Tears")

  • Thanks a lot for your comments, guys! :)

  • could you say me the combination neck, HHP o HH and what do you think about the HSP o HHP because a bay the HHP and it is caming on febrary, sorry for my bad inglish

  • Sounded great! Love that!

  • impressive man, nice bongo u got there, i got the same (not sure if its the exact colour) see you on EB forums!

  • yet another great work! good job

  • i envy you, that bongo is amazing.

  • sounding very awesome wooo second comment

  • Nice one. And I'm the first comment. Cool. :)

I should work on one while I'm home for the holidays too. We shall see.
