honda is probly the least realiable bike of themm all for 4 stokes. Yamaha and KTM were rated most realiable i hate KTM but thats what they were rated id say go with Yamaha the 2010s look sick
Kus theirsponsors determine what kind of bike they're gonna ride haha. 2-strokes are just as fast if not faster when the track is smooth, once it gets choppy and rutted 4-strokes are faster because of the tractable power.
Now that that's aside, they should change the class restrictions to get two-strokes back in the game. It's all a gimmick to get people to buy 4-strokes because they're more expensive.

but if you really wanna pimp with the best of em get the 2 stroke 250 and enjoy the low costs of being able to enjoy riding. However, the 4 strokes are hard to beat on torque but cost mucho dollars to repair if you break em.

A smoker makes that power at a very specific point, above and below which it makes a lot less power. A 250 thumper might not make as much power, but the power it does make is much more linear. Motocross is as much about smoothness as it is about brute strengh, and four strokes, quite frankly, are smoother machines.
@hammerhead300 Allowing 450cc race against 250cc is a handicap. And go look at your dyno charts again watch?v=sdDJZu0ztzo. A 250 2-stroke not only makes 15hp more peak but from 3800-10,000 the 2-stroke makes more power. The only time the 4 makes more is after the 2 signs off.
And if you need linear try a KTM 250XC. As wide as any 4-stroke and still kills 250 2-strokes in hp, peak and across the range.
The only reason 4-stroke MX exists is the handicap.
