  • What a bigot. Of course he'll cry foul and claim he was harassed and run home to his lovers at Fox News who will say "Hush now Alex, everything's gonna be fine."

  • They guy can't even talk, and the GOP pick him to voice their opinions? Shows you just how moronic the Republican party is.

  • lol

calling him by his actual name

    and that's somehow offensive.

  • @HandyMan101 It's offensive because he meant it to be offensive. It's that simple. He's using it to evoke imagery in the American people. It's not hard to understand.

  • Oh Christ, this is why MSNBC pisses me off. While I think the birthers are monumentally stupid retards, this guy was just trying to make a joke (albeit a terrible one). For the record, I'd vote for anyone with an "un-American" name. Or at least I would, if the candidate wasn't a corporate sellout like Obama. Side note: I don't understand why the Tea Baggers are so damn angry. Obama's status as a lying scumbag is on par with every other WHITE lying scumbag we've ever had in office.

  • oh my god,he called him hussein. This is outrageous!

  • @rw5791 Yea I agree, but I still feel that perhaps they should point out the stupidity. I mean we're dealing with some DUMB people. This guy obviously is a genius. I suspect they recruit them while they're young to believe their schemes. I hate the collectivist side of things, but we take so much shit from conservatives in politics and in debate. It's so childish, but this was a tad childish at least in the beginning.

  • @HoGraz the guy was a bit of a prick but my god, your side has olberman, schultz, matthews, maddow.I mean, talk about a bunch of annoying pinheads.Sometimes I'll tune in just for some entertainment but after 3 minutes I can't take it anymore and have to switch channels. And yet I listen to conservative radio day and night...........because it's an education.

  • @rw5791 Well I read books and listen to Fox"News" Radio cause I'm objective. We did have a liberal government for years until the G.O.P. decided they wanted to sell out to Jerry Fallwell and the Moral Majority. Most Bush voters had an average IQ of 98 look it up. Most people don't need to be conservatives in this country. It's a fact cause nowadays you need more than a high school education to get a job and Republicans don't add to the Pell Grant nor keep State schools Non-Profit. Pro.

  • @HoGraz 90% of blacks voted for gore and obama. You're telling me they had IQ's above 98?No way, man.Democrats are some of the dumbest motherfuckers on the planet.

If obama closed gauntanamo and taxed the shit out of the rich he might get your support but he's just messin' wit yo' mind, man. Can't you see that?

  • @rw5791 Listen I never said I like Obama but I will tell you this much the Democratic party is a much better option than the Republican one. What you said proves you're stupid or you're someone fake personality to make Republicans look stupid. You do not get an education from listening to what the Church of Rush and his corporate cronies want you to think. Ever notice the amount of repetition? Their formula is play the good guy, demonize the left, repeat yourself, spin, scream over debate etc.

  • @rw5791 You've got to be a fucken idiot if you believe those guys. The always take a middle stance that means nothing on purpose that way they can get the biggest following. Why did Beck have his thing on the same day MLK gave his famous speach then turned around and played dumb. No sir you are a buffoon. Not I. I however am able to see past the right & left paradigm. Notice how you came out attacking me?That's what they want. This is why liberalism fails today. It's attacked by corporate masters

  • @HoGraz Yo,man. You got to get yo' head out yo' ass.You be talkin' some shit, man when you should be gettin yoself straight and votin' for romney in 2012.Obama ain't nothin' but a fuckin' commie and we got to get his ass outta there.

  • @rw5791 You are a strange person. I looked on your channel. Seems like you pretend to be a democrat at times too.

  • @HoGraz I gaurantee those 10% of blacks who did not vote for obama live in a better house than you because they don't think you, like a loser. They don't sit around whining and bitching, they just go out and get it done.Shit ,man, you got affirmative action. That's like a red carpet to success just laid out in front of you.

  • @rw5791 What the hell did you say? Dude honestly a lot of black folks down here still need affirmative action just to get a job. That's politics let it work it's way out.

  • @HoGraz Affirmative action should be abolished.

  • @rw5791 OK, fine.

Then we get to acknowledge the real reason teabaggers don't like Obama.

  • @HoGraz P.S. if you read your history you'd know that black people in southern California suffered greatly by the Drug War Reagan and Bush Sr. inflicted on them to promote their Iran Contra Scandal. Maybe they just realize that the Republican party is only for whites unless you're an Uncle Tom like Michael Steele. Want an education get a pell grant from Obama and take a course from a professor who understands politics. They're mostly leftist for good reasons.

  • haha he totally tried to be subliminal, but he got Owned by the entire telecast team.

  • @MultiKdizzle God, that was not at all subtle. This is the usual tactic for the GOP, though, rile up their constituents with fear mongering, disinformation and bold faced lies. Seriously, if you take every major talking point that a republican brings up and check its credibility, it has more holes in it than cheesecloth, and holds water just as well.

people need to check their facts before posting.

  • @dorksied

    fact

    check.

    org

  • @dorksied excuse me.... but Barack's middle name IS HUSSEIN.. what disinformation are we talking about? He also used the name of Barry Soetoro, Soetoro was his step father's name... again I ask, what disinformation? Those of you on the left are a sorry excuse for human beings. STFU

  • @carolsboy you're a moron. yes, barack's middle name is hussein. but bringing that into the debate was not disinformation, it was FEAR MONGERING. Can he really be held responsible for his middle name, which was given to him LONG before Saddam Hussein was even in the news. The idiotic thing is trying to connect the two in people's minds because they share a name.

You people on the right are idiots, and should all be sterilized to prevent your stupidity from propagating.

  • @dorksied no.. it's those of you on the left that are the idiots. The liberals in this country are like parasites. Look at those who support liberals... Hollywood morons, union thugs, professional welfare recipients, college elitists, tin hat wearing global warming alarmists, homosexuals, pedophiles, criminals, socialists, communists. What a group of f'n reprobates you and your ilk are. You just keep on drinking that kool-aid you festering stool.

  • @carolsboy

The "blondie still talking shit": Did you know that the old guy who killed the guard at the Holocaust museum, last yr was not Liberal, he was a birther. So for you all the "good people" are the conservatives and the Rethuglicans, OMG what a stupid woman you are!

  • @dorksied boy, you had to really reach deep to pull that list of BS outta your ass, didn't ya? Well, congrats, sir, you're now the stupidest, most willfully ignorant person i've ever seen on the internet.

let me make up a list too?

conservatives are really divided into 2 classes. The first class, which we will call 'the uneducated masses', are full of religious, fear driven, change fearing, fact ignoring cretins who believe, without checking the facts, everything that their leaders tell them.

  • @MultiKdizzle I just snarfed my milk... that is what you saw in the video... good drugs, eh?

  • @carolsboy

Abortion was legal in 1973 under Richard Nixon's presidency, a REPUBLICAN and he didn't do shit to avoid it!

  • @clarity023 What was he going to do... shoot the liberal supreme court justices?

He can't veto a ruling from the supreme court and congress was controlled by the democrats during his presidency as well. What do the democrats offer to stop abortion? Nada, jack squat. Abortion mills are a business and they rely on democrats to protect the evil they do. Do I have to describe to you how a baby is terminated during a partial birth abortion? Have you seen pictures you evil @#%$?

  • The reason he used the president's middle name is simple. In private Republican undoubtedly refer to the president by his full name all the time so they keep themselves good and spooked over him. This goober made the mistake of saying in public what they normally only say in private.

There are lots of things Repubs believe that they can't say publicly. Birth control should be illegal, social secrurity and medicare should be destroyed, the minimum wage repealed, taxes increased on the poor.

  • If you can prove b.o.'s a U.S. citizen, claim your $25,000,000 there

What's the matter? no one wants $25 million!?!?

  • Here let me try a type this in a way they won't censor it. 1st word is reward 2nd word is for 3rd word is obamas 4th word is birth 5th word is certificate and then there is a dot and a com

  • youtube is censoring what you post on birther related videos.

  • This is gay

  • First a presidents records are not sealed, the voters have every right to know everything about him, yes he did ordered them sealed. first thing he did as president. 2nd the figured is now 1.7 million, from berg the lawyer in pa. who is suing. Legal fees to keep records sealed

  • In the infamous video of New Jersey schoolchildren singing hymns of praise to Obama that were written by a big Obama supporter, the children chanted "Mmm mmm mmm, Barack Hussein Obama." Barack was sworn in at the inauguartion as "Barack Hussein Obama."

If Barack's supporters can say Hussein so can his critics.

  • Fact is, his critics go out of their way to emphasize the 'scary foreign name', in some cases calling him B. Hussein Obama. Like calling it the Democrat Party instead of the Democratic Party. There's an implication there that they go out of their way to highlight. Like FinF was saying about the muslim thing.

  • @007ObiWan

the problem is not his name but how his name is used. sure he was sworn in as BHO but his opponents use him middle name in a way to insinuate that he is foreign born, muslim, or weak against extremist from the middle east.

I dont recall too many republicans calling our last presidents George Walker Bush. or Bill Jefferson Clinton or Ronald Wilson Regan.

you and I both know that if his middle name was john, conservative would NEVER mention it.

  • She toasted his apple! LOL

  • A lot of people on here saying what's the problem of his name. My problem is that you never heard people saying previous presidents name they would only say the letter. Why say the full name now? Maybe cause the name has a muslim heritage. The right is doing everything they can to trigger fear in people so they will ignore the real issues and just reject anything this president has to offer even if it benefits them.

  • To be fair, Harry S truman's middle name was S, and John Fitzgerald Kennedy,Richard Milhous Nixon and Franklin Delano Roosevelt were often refered to as such.

Personally, I do not find offence at using Obama's middle name, but it is clear that there are still a lot of racist crackers in the US and that it IS being used as some kind of slur, some way of saying "y'all know he's foreign".

  • VERY well said!

  • Hussein is his name.

As far as him not being an American citizen people need to let this one go. If he did enter the world when his Hawiian mother was in Kenya, he is considered an American citizen. My nephew was born while my sis was in Australia. They returned home 10 dys after Sam was born, he did not require a green card or anything to be an American citizen. There are SO many other things going on with his administration, quit wasting time on this issue! NO SOCIALIZED HEALTH CARE!

  • Research what being a citizen is ,if he was not born on U.S. soil he is not a citizen. His mother would have to have lived on U.S. soil for five years after she reached 18. I didn't have any questions about it till it came up again. Now I have questions, why was the first thing he signed in office was a order sealing his records, next why has he spend 1.4 million dollars to fight showing it after a judge told him he has to.

  • 3 things.

1st he did not seal his records. private records are already sealed. or do you think you can go get a copy of your neighbor's medical, college or birth records?

2nd. where do you get the figure of 1.4 million spent fighting lawsuits? it is a made up number. what he spends on attorney fees is also private information. or do you mean what was spent on legal fees for his campaign? or legal fees as president? those are 3 different things. lastly, NOT 1 judge ordered him to show anything

  • please show me the name of the bill or executive order you claimed he signed to have his records sealed. all executive orders are public record so even if we cant read the order a public record is kept on such things. So please provide the order. You can check the rule comittee or the markup comittee website for the order. it should be very easy to find. Thank you for your time

  • yaaay, lets murder 47 million ppl

  • Hope the world comes crashing down soon.

i'm sick and tired of this infested diseased world!

  • it is sad when all an ideology has to to galvanize ignorant hatred

  • That's his name. What's the big deal? Barack Hussein Obama.

  • This is true. It is his name, but it's being used as a trigger for scared, uninformed people. Subliminal messaging in order to further drive in the idea that he is somehow "un-American" and should be feared and hated. No one should have to be touchy about his middle name being Hussein, but this word association game on the part of the Republicans is all in the spirit of misdirection.

  • "This is true. It is his name, but it's being used as a trigger for scared, uninformed people."

    Exactly.

  • Nothing wrong with it , I like the name Hussein ,

  • apocalypse

  • the big deal is that there are some people who use it to emphasize negativity. (Hussain = Muslim = Terrorist ....SICK!!!!). This is a noun which has meaning when you give it a meaning. Just like the word "nigger". Whites use it to emphasize a negative difference in colour hence propagating discrimination which is despicable. On the other hand the same word is used by African Americans but that does not have any negative connotations. This is why it is a big deal.

  • The Republican party has some housecleaning to do.

  • The demagogue is one who preaches doctrines he knows to be untrue to people he knows to be idiots.

  • Everyone should read David Leonhardt's article in the June 9, 2009 New York Times on the budget deficit.

The problem is that many Republicans have embraced a narrative in which Obama is characterized as evil or stupid, and they will accept as evidence only what appears to confirm their narrative while casually dismissing whatever refutes it. This makes any real debate and discourse impossible.

  • Comment removed

  • Come on guys, let's have a sense of humor about the dog whistle racism that I tried to casually put into my statements!

  • I agree this National debt is huge and I believe Obama over did it and we have to pay for the consequences. There is some way 1 triliion dollars will trickle down to common man today or tommorow and when that happens inflation or so i say Hyper Inflation. Next summer we might be paying $8.00/gallon gas. I think Obama is trying to do the right thng but has no control on spending and he's over doing it. Its time to show strong opposition because that is what a true DEMOCRACY all about not birthing

  • How its is , I understand the debt situation and that is why I don't support Obama but what's plan B? Sit around and wait for the economy to come up automatically? like Japan in the 90's it never recovered. As of Today(8/8/09) unemployed gone down first time ( 9.5 ->9.4). even though negative growth but economy has grown less negatively and its possible we'll see some positive growth in next quarters. Most importantly us Americans have started saving money. That is good sign.

  • ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh dammmmmmmmnnnn look he used the mans actually namee what a bad person

  • Then why the fuck did he say 'excuse me' as if he messed up the name?

  • I am liberal through and through, but give the guy a bit of a break. They didn't need to tear him apart like that. I think it's very possible that was a mistake.

  • bullshit. the only mistake that was was the same mistake when you don't realize theres a black person int the room when your telling a racist joke. It was a slip of the tongue but only because he was so used to saying it with his normal associates.

they were absolutely right in ripping him a new asshole.

  • All these stupid fucks deserve to get their assholes ripped open!!!

  • That was a radical conservative's attempt at a joke. Wow.

  • I understand his gig is up but think about it this guy was elected with 53% votes in november and thats hugh margin. Red states voted for him. I am a republican and I voted for him. am I happy ? No I hate him now but whos the alternative. Palin? Comeon guys I would never vote for dumb Palin. if it was McCain Romney republicans would have won and Obama would be in senate.

  • Im glad to Hear a Republican say that Palin is Dumb. It realy freaks me out ,how many people thought she was Great, I live in southern Arizona and I'M surrounded by people who had Palin bumper stickers.

  • @Justinbanner21 no, Obama is dumb... without his teleprompter he is dumber than a pile of steaming poop. When he enters a room, he is automatically the dumbest one present... well, unless Rahm is in the room too.

  • @carolsboy

You said Obama is dumb without his teleprompter? Did you see Sara Falin writing on her hand so she can remember what she has to say? On her hand ! Thank God this bimbo lost! hahahaha

  • @clarity023 so she put some points on her hand... she didn't write the whole speech. She has more executive experience than the Kenyan man child.

  • @carolsboy

She put some points on her hand? and do you think that's professional? She has more "executive experience"? She is just a soccer mom, won Miss Congeniality and played the flute, and she couldn't even hold the governor position? hahahahahahaha

  • @carolsboy

    watch?v=jArFYgXYg-4

she can't even pronounce nuclear she says "nucleur" hahahaha

    (with her parrot voice) Annoying!

  • @clarity023 Obama claims that abortion was a subject above his pay grade... excuse me, but if we aren't sure what is the right answer, shouldn't we side with the baby's right to life over the mothers incovenience? BHO is a LOSER and you liberal sock puppets are just as pathetic. Our country used to be filled with the best and brightest... now we are are a country filled with reprobates who will face war in the future with enemies who will make them cry and piss their pants.

  • @carolsboy

Abortion is legal in this country. Bush didn't do anything about it. The Supreme Court states that a woman has the right to do what she wants with her body.

  • @clarity023 Killing a baby in this country may be legal, but that doesn't make it right and moral. Those who kill innocent children will be held accountable in the afterlife.

You think it is acceptable for a woman to kill a 6 week old unborn baby with fingers and toes in the womb where it rely's on his or her mother for protection?

  • @carolsboy

There are so many wrong things in this world and there is nothing we can do about it.

Unfortunately abortions and other atrocities are going to exist.

Like when a mother abuse her own children, prostitute them or some other atrocities.

A father raping his or her own child, can you avoid all this? Can you prevent this? Of course not.

  • @carolsboy

    cont.

It prohibits a federal, state, or local governmental entity from denying or interfering with a woman's right to exercise such choices.

  • @clarity023 Ironic that women have killed more human life in this country than men in our military have killed in ALL the wars we have fought in COMBINED and MULTIPLIED by 10. At least men can claim to kill in the name of FREEDOM and LIBERTY... women claim to kill in the name of CHOICE?

  • @carolsboy

I am a nurse I am pro-life. I used to work in a Maternity ward. I've seen so many things!

You dont have any idea. I saw a case where a young grandmother was having sex with her 15 yr old grandson! and she got pregnant . She introduced a wire hanger, you know, she bled, lost the baby, but she didn't die. I've seen pregnant girls, I mean 13, 14 yr old girls pregnant by their own fathers. How can you avoid this?

  • @clarity023 ... so you kill the baby for the crimes of others? We live in sick times and when good people stasrt believing this is for the best, then the fight is lost.

You get pregnant because of rape... not your fault. But kill the baby, now the mom is at fault. The mother will always remember she was raped and that it wasn't her fault, but the killing of her baby should haunt her FOREVER.

"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."

    Edmund Burke

  • @carolsboy

Well start to write letters to Congress about it. Tell me what other presidents have done about it? Bush for example he was president for 8 years, do you know how many babies died during his term?

  • @carolsboy

Around 3,500 daily abortions performed in the US only. How many babies died during Bush 8 yrs term? Do the math.

  • @clarity023 I would be willing to bet that half of all abortions are done by women who are registered as democrats, 30% independents and 20% republicans (10% or less have conservative views).

Again liberals and democrats have no morals. Justification of abortion is one of the most vilest opinions I have ever heard.

  • @carolsboy

Oh yeah liberals and democrats have no morals, you are an idiot. Why Bush didn't stop the abortions then? Do the math, 3, 500 abortions daily, in 8 yrs how many babies were killed and Bush didn't move a finger do you think he cares? He cares about having money in his pocket and his butt on a confortable chair doing nothing.

You are just a stupid loser Repuglican, do you know that there are more corrupts Repuglicans than Democrats? If you want I can give you the list.

  • @carolsboy

" I would be willing to bet that half of all abortions are done by women who are registered as democrats"

What a stupid comment, are you blond? Sounds like you are a dumb blond!

  • carol

The Freedom of Choice Act (H.R. 1964/S.1173) was a bill in the 110th United States Congress which "declares that it is the policy of the United States that every woman has the fundamental right to choose to bear a child; terminate a pregnancy prior to fetal viability; or terminate a pregnancy after viability when necessary to protect her life or her health."

    cont.

  • @clarity023 so what? The Bill Of Rights claims that ALL men are CREATED equal.

I'd bet that more than 95% of all pregnancies that are terminated are done for convenience. Want to debate that? Again.. our country is full of reprobates and perverts and our best days have passed by... years ago. The children in this country today have no clue and they will live in a third world shithole that liberals have made for them... bravo... bravo.

  • @clarity023 Oh yeah... a woman makes her "choice" when she spreads her legs and has sex.. Yeah, as the commercial says, "You've come a long way baby!"

  • Comment removed

  • @clarity023 what a stupid link and a stupid liberal asshat.

Bottom line is if you think a mother has a right to kill her baby, you are immoral and don't have a clue as to what is right or wrong. Stop making excuses.. they don't pass the stink test. I don't want to be part of a society with the likes or you and your ilk... just split the country in half and we will even let you pick the half you want to be the USSA and after 30 years, we will see what works.

  • a question why do u think palin is dumb i find her to be a genius

  • That relative measure makes you pretty goddamn dumb.

If you find a moron to be a genius, then what does that make you?

  • Department of Defense has been ordered to not to court martial any personnel that question that eligibility of President Obama,It is now being widely reported that much of the controversy surrounding President Obama eligibility is coming from sources within the Federal Government. Many have expressed outrage and concern.

  • The Marxist press is at it again. Who in their right minds thinks the press is neutral? This little pipsqueak didn't even scratch the surface of what most people are thinking and yet he was gang raped by the repeaters. Time for a paradigm shift, like yesterday.

  • I think we saw the paradym shift in November. what most people are thinking was shown in the November elections. Barrack Obama did not just squeek by. Virtually all republicans got ousted so we know what most people are thinking. Just because a bunch of idiots make a lot of noise does not make them a majority. Wish in one hand and shit in the other and see which one fills up fastest. Most people my ass.

  • How is Obama different from Bush? Did he get rid of the Patriot Act? Did he stop the war in Afghanistan? Did he stop warrantless searches? What has he done in the past? None of you people know a single thing he has done without consulting the internet. He's black. So What. His approval rating sunk faster than any modern era president. Wake up dude. The gig is up.

  • Wow. The guy has been in office for 8 months. Judge what he has done after his term or at least half way.

  • I'm not fan of what's been going on especially for the last 9 years. Another 8 months isn't going to make any difference. This guy can't change his ownders the way a Lion can't become a vegetarian.

  • You are a complete Idiot if you do not see the difference between Obama and Bush. I bet you are from the south and did not receive a very good education, Where do you get your info, from Your preacher and Rush Limbah?

  • lol. you're hilarious

  • I hope What you say is true!!

  • it was fun to watch that pussy squirm when he got called out on his remark. repubs are scared shitless right now because they are an endangered species. The same party that brought us McCarthy and Watergate is turning to dust.

  • It was used as a racial code by some republicans during the campaign (and don't insult my intelligence by implying otherwise) but I'm not sure I detected that here. He may have simply been used to saying the full name as they often do (for whatever reason) in right wing circles.

I'd give him a pass in this setting I think.

  • If you believe that "racial code" to be true; your intelligence should be insulted for it is the argument of a fool.

  • I think they were a bit harsh on him..

  • Ah, so you are guessing about the motivations of his misstep and in doing so are making an absolute fool of yourself.

There is FAR more racism in the demonrants than republicans but you ASSUME that republicans "PROBABALY engage in ethnic slander".

OH, what a fool you are to think that.

  • To suggest that there is more racism among Democrats than Republicans is patently absurd. The whole conservative agenda of the Republicans serves the interests of those who presently hold the power and wealth in America. Who do you think that might be? Could it be white people by chance? It is not merely that Republicans are racist in their attitudes. Far worse, they are racist in the policies, which oppress the minority populations in America.

  • Ahh, just the usual blind assertions. "Its racist!" Why? "Because it is!"

No facts, no real argument; you just sound like a 5-year-old claiming his imaginary friend is real.

Republicans defend the civil society that allows individuals to suceed or fail, regardless of color, creed or gender. That is why, historically, it was republicans at the forefront of women's sufferage and civil rights and it was demonrants protecting the status quo.

  • Sorry to disappoint you, my obtuse and ignorant friend, but the Republican agenda of policies favoring the powerful and wealthy, who also happen to be white, is a FACT. And if you think the civil rights movement of the 60's was led by Republicans you are completely delusional. Indeed, the fact that someone like Lincoln was a Republican is completely unilluminating: the Republican party of his day has virtually nothing in common with the party of today. He'd be appalled by its present policies.

  • Oh you are sooo wrong. Do you live in another reality on purpose?

If Republican policies favor the powerful and wealthy, why are most of the top 5% demonrant? Why are the average demonrant campaign contributions several times larger than the average Republican contribution?

You've bought the liberal lie; hook, line and sinker. Demonrants restrict the ability for new people to gain wealth, thereby protecting the current wealthy.

Republicans protect the ability to create wealth, for all!

  • Wake up, friend! Which party supports management and corporate interests over labor? Which party receives the overwhelming support from Wall Street and the financial industry? Which party supports tax cuts for the rich? Which party ignores the interests of the poor?

The Republican party counts on lower and middle class Americans being deceived by their rhetoric and obfuscations and then voting against their own interests. You are a dupe and are completely clueless about it!

  • Well, considering Labor's track record on killing their own jobs; I'd say the republicans are doing labor a favor.

Obama got FARMORE support from Wall Street than McCain, so that argument doesn't work either.

Republicans support tax cuts FOR ALL!!!

Having grown up poor and my advancement having come from government restrained, not government interference, Republicans best support the interests of the poor.

I am extremely well educated and no dupe, as you are my friend.

  • Of course Republicans will SAY they support tax cuts for everyone, but who were the real recipients of those cuts under Bush? That's right, the wealthy. And if you believe that the Wall Street and country club crowds support Democrats, then you need actually to know the culture there.

I know it's a blow to your pride to realize you've embraced an ideology contrary to your own interests, but you need to get over your ego and disavow the conservative ideology for your own good.

  • Well, if you pay more and there's an across the board cut, of course you'll benefit more; duh! Why is stealing from the rich a virtue of yours?

If you look at who received how much in donations in the last race, D'ohBama received MORE than twice as much from investors than McCain.

It may be a blow to your pride to realize that your "facts" are all wrong. I am a conservative because I'm an educated thinking person, not because of ego. You're just spouting talking points.

  • Yes, calling him "D'ohBama" is certainly evidence of your education and sophistication.

What are your sources that Obama received twice as much as McCain from investors? Obama's campaign was renowned for small contributions from ordinary people.

Even Bush briefly thought, out of fairness, that the tax breaks should be shifted to the middle-class, but was talked out of it by Rove.

Paying taxes is hardly equivalent to stealing.

I am a philosophy professor and don't do talking points.

  • Hey, even highly educated people should keep a sense of humor; otherwise your education gets in the way of your common sense and you end up voting for dunces like D'ohBama!

    My source?, FEC reports...

Everything has a price-mechanism to determine its true price. Progressive tax schemes steal from society, not just the rich, by creating an artificial price that inhibits growth and opportunity.

You may be a prof, but you're doing a great job of relating talking points w/o proof.

  • What reports? Be more precise.

This country has suffered miserably under the false premise of trickle-down economics. Tax breaks for the rich do nothing but consolidate wealth into the hands of the few at the expense of the rest. There is overwhelming empirical evidence of the failure of this tax policy.

You falsely presume that I have any awareness whatsoever of Democratic talking points. I do not.

  • Um, the campaign finance reports that must be filed with the FEC. Any contribution over a certain amount requires that the donator list their occupation... Let me guess, you only read/listen to the left-stream media....

Tax breaks increase economic activity, always have, which increase the size of the economy and increases the quality of life; the fact that the rich get richer is a necessary component of an expanding economy.

  • The FEC reports do not break down the information in a way that would allow one to determine what the contribution percentages are. You appear to be creating numbers ex nihilo. By the way, ALL donors are listed, not just those donating a certain amount.

I don't care if the rich get richer as long as it's not at the expense of the rest of population, and it has, in fact, come at the expense at the rest of the population: see recession and Wall St. bailout.

  • Yes, you're right and if you took the time to tally it up, as MANY have, you'd find most of the rich substantially back D'ohBama. In fact, his average donation was much larger than McCain's average donation, not as high as previous demonrants over republicans, but the trend remained.

Yes, Bush admitted that he broke with his conservative leanings and tried to bail out the financial industry.

D'ohBama did it too after he was elected with the car industry and is now trying to wreck health

  • Yes, I'm sure that you and MANY others have gone through the millions of names on those lists and carefully determined that Obama's donators were wealthy corporate executives. Yes, that's both plausible and commensurate with the enormous numbers who donated to the Obama campaign.

Obama put regulations on the financial bailout to prevent it from being an outright theft of the average taxpayer and a reward for fiscal and policy irresponsibility.

  • BTW - If you want the rich to get poorer, you'll have to shrink the economy; but D'ohBama's accomplished that!

Tax receipts from corporations (the rich) are down 57% since he took office!

Quit whining about the recession/depression, its the only way to make the rich get poorer!

  • Obama inherited a deep recession from Bush, and it's a damned good thing we did not elect another Republican who would have attempted to resolve the recession with the same miserable, failed policies that caused it in the first place.

If you've been paying any attention, corporations are actually starting to post profits for the first time since the recession began. It must kill you to see Obama's policies succeeding.

  • Yes, he inherited a recession and DUG IT DEEPER.

In just six months he's doubled the deficit that it took the previous 43 presidents more than 200 years to build!

  • Ok, well, you know what? If the leading economic indicators showing signs of a turn around constitutes digging the recession deeper, then I hope the administration keeps digging.

I hate to break it to you, but Obama's contribution to the deficit is small. Take two minutes to research it and you will discover I am correct. You think his contribution is great because you're blindly swallowing Republican talking points.

  • One problem, you ASSUME that I haven't already researched this.

How else could I have determined that D'ohBama is a failure?

Are you actually believing that an increasing unemployment rate, devaluing dollar, growing debt (half of which is D'ohBama's), and other economic indicators are "GOOD"?

I guess reality and truth aren't important topics for philosophers...

  • Again, stop spouting talking points and look it up. Obama's percentage of the deficit is small.

I am not assuming that you haven't researched it, I am inferring it from your evident lack of knowledge about it.

  • If you were to infer what you've stated you've inferred; you'd be either a moron or an idiot. So, which are you?

Talk about talking points, you're still grabbing to talking points that aren't founded in reality.

I HAVE LOOKED IT UP. DUH, moron!

  • Wow, your intellect gets more impressive with every post. I can't imagine how you became a dupe to Republican propaganda with such an acute, penetrating mind. I'm done wasting my time on someone who's not worthy of it.

  • Sorry, I'm getting frustrated dealing with a pompous bum who thinks that I don't agree with him because I'm either stupid, haven't researched the issues or something similarly inane.

NO, the truth is that I am well-educated, have researched the facts and thoughtfully considered the truths of the matter.

I'm just impatient when it comes to dealing with imbeciles.

  • Yes, clearly I'm an imbecile. And a pompous bum. I would place my reputation and intellect against yours anytime, friend.

You'll notice that I haven't resorted to childish names since I don't have the maturity level of a child.

  • small it is a fact that he has added more to the national debt so far than this country has added in the past 200 years before him, this debt only is comig in yearly not at the same time

  • Common-sense indicators, LOL Percieved by your slanted point of view. Imagined racism, that which you are referring to, will never go away with people like you perpetuating the myth. The sooner we get rid of organizations that separate us, the sooner we can all be part of the same society and live in the same world with the same reality, that which you insist on being imaginary.

  • obama is a muslim terrorist....wake up to the fact!!! He is not an American.

  • It wouldnt have been as bad if he had just stuck with "Hussein". The fact that he stopped as he was saying it was as if he was somehow trying highlight it more.

  • I think that you really do believe what you are saying, however "to call someone out on racism" is only your opinion of what YOU think that they are REALLY saying. It may, or it may not be the fact. However, I have to listen to the person who is being accused, as only they know their true intent, that which you seem to think I am denying.

  • I do get a kick out of the Anti-Christ comments. That has been going on, president after president. The way they can come up with #'s that "add" up to it being true. lol. I do believe that he said the middle name, because he usually does, however stopped himself, although it was too late, because of the simple fact that people imply that it is a bad thing to do. I don't think BHO feels that way, especially after hearing him address muslims. Good thing we are still allowed to think freely.

  • I always told my parents, "tis better to be a smartass than a dumbass"......... however, I refer to him as BHO. Am I implying Ethnic Slander? I don't think so, it isn't my intent. You can't assume to know what anyone means when they use a persons full name. Often, a full name is used when people are annoyed by behavior. Just like when a parent calls you by your full name. I think it is taking liberties that should not be taken when you make the assumption of another's intent.

  • Well then Satire for sure. Certainly not sature as you stated. BHO chose to use his full name when he was sworn in. He isn't ashamed of it, nor is he a Republican strategist, so others should not be afraid to use it as well. We are who we are.........

  • How thet fall on their sword for their messiah!

    God Help us!

    Bill US Army retired

  • The irony here is that the same MOFOs who want to spread Democracy across the world can't handle a black man in the White House - a house that Slaves built.

According to former GOP Congressman Tom Davis, 88 of 100 counties with the lowest education voted for McCain, and 78of 100counties with the highest education voted for Obama.

The GOP leadership recognised their base [of wing-nuts] is consumed with it.

When you keep appealing to the worst in people, you will eventually get it.

  • repub's are racist. no i dont but i feel they aer fueling the fire for their own ends. no matter what proof obama puts forth saying that he was born in the u.s, none of the birthers will believe. they convinced themselfs otherwise and are nutz. poeple cant accept change. i would respect them alot more for comming out and saying. i dont like obama cuzz he is black. then being a coward and hiding their racist views behind nutwing conspiracy like this. just my 2 cent tho

  • my 2 cents on this. is that it is stupid. im gna be honest so dont take it personally. if the shoe fits tho..... I just think alot of people are hiding behind this birther crap because they are hiding their racist issues. its a shock for alot of people stuck in their old ways. to now see a black prez of the usa and to see a black family in the white house. i think rep"s keep adding to the fire, in hope to distract americans from the changes that obama wants to bring to the nation do i think all

  • My God! Why can't Obama produce his birth certificate? He says there is one so he should produce it for us to see. Also his college records should be available to see. He has sealed these records because he is hiding something.

Most likely he attended college as a foreign student because he was a foreign student born in Kenya with a Indonesian passport.

If he is telling the truth, there is no reason to hide these records. The problem is that he is lying to us and is not eligible for POTUS.

  • The republicans make their own choices and will have to live up to them.

  • You liberals make me sick, as bad Chris Matthews attacking G. Gordon Liddy.

They obviously have something to hide, name, birth place and to defend him they would go so far as to make it an ethnic, religous and racial issue!

Barack Husein Obama or is it Soetoro?

  • are you suggesting that the certificate of live birth he showed was fake? and the state of Hawaii lied when confirming he was born there?

  • That was not a long form birth certificate. The certificate he showed can be issued to foreign born people. The certificate he showed is not valid for many reasons. A few are that there is no registration number, no signature of the issuing clerk, his half-sisters name appears in the jpeg code for the document he posted which means that somebody did a photoshop job on this document. We need to see his college records which will show he attended as a foreign student and orig birth certificate.

  • so the state of Hawaii lied also?

  • being reasonable here. his mother was an US citizen. whether or not he was born in the US, he can easily get a US passport. i don't see why he would go to college as a foreign student.

  • His COLB is perfectly valid you pathetic kook. It's good for any court.

  • you are a stupid moron.

  • America faces many challenges including unemployment, wars, health care, climate change, etc. The following american problem-solvers cannot reach closure on the Presidents birth certificate: Rep John Campbell R-Calif Rep Bill Posey R-Fla Sen Jim Inhofe R-Okla Rep. Mary Bono Mack R-Calif Rep. John Culberson R-Texas Rep. Marsha Blackburn R-Tenn Rep .Dan Burton R-IN Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers, R-Wash Rep. Charles Boustany R-La Rep. Jeff Fortenberry R-Neb Rep. Greg Harper R-Miss
  • I love the birthers! Republicans were pretending to be normal, sane, reasonable people -- and the birthers jumped up from their tea-bagging sessions to shriek about birth certificates. Proving, ultimately, that rightwingers are idiots.

  • A Rose by another other name...

You Republicratics crack me up, finding such minutia to waste your time on. If you still believe there is a difference between your party, you're not paying attention.

His name is his name, value neutral. If a Right Republicratic invokes it, the meaning is the same as when the Left Republicratic speaks it. You people don your partisan blinders and see things that only exist in your own strange world. Rome is burning folks, the new boss? same as the old...

  • To those Republicans who say "it's just his name", go tell SIDNEY that he lost the election - oh wait, it doesn't work as well because it's not said with malicious implications like Obama's middle name is - it's NOT just a middle name when you Republicans PURPOSELY make it more than that.

  • He has been a dedicated Christian for decades....yet people still treat him like a terrorist because he is black and his name is Hussein.

I am ASHAMED to be an american.

  • Maybe Obama should have kept his name Barry Dunham. If he was Barry Dunham he would won by a bigger margin probably.

  • Hahaha, that s classic. I can't remember the last time I saw someone backpedal that fast. Good on the hosts for calling him out on it!

  • ahahaa....straight true blue clannysman right there.ahahaha

  • 'Muslim'. And they call us the Obama Zombies. lol. How's that rock you're living under?

  • Liberals don't have any problem with his middle name, we merely have the sense to know why certain people choose to highlight it and make sure to use it, and call them out for why they're doing it.
