No - the movie making feature offers very basic tools to combine video clips into a "movie." If you need more specific or precise editing tools, you may consider using programs like Windows Movie Maker or iMovie

Is there a way to get rid of the fading transision? I have to make a persicely timed video, and the transision messes it up

You can trim the front and/or the back end of the video, but you cannot trim out a section in the middle. That would require a more powerful editing tool. FlipShare offers some simple, basic editing tools :-)

can you cut clips if you only want a certain part of a clip?
