  • what kind off bullshit is this? im not going to a touchscreen to open my window or to light a bulb or to activate the waterfall. This shit is the dumbest automation crap i've ever seen and probably these suckers sell it to people on a high price. They talk about a central touchscreen which is so amazing instead of using different screens? If i want to automate my house (which i wouldnt) for those i would advise buy yourself a basic low price plc and a touchscreen from Siemens or Beckhoff or B&R

  • @bartp84 low price PLC from B&R? LOL?

  • I would advise people to wait. Most people dont know how to use such a high end system like that. The Key to everything is simplicity. Is your wife and kids gonna be able to use the system with no problems. Technology is always changing

  • pretty cool but people are getting too lazy and reliant on technology. i really don't like the idea of sitting there like a pile of goo and pushing buttons to live my life. i see some useful aspects though.

  • crestor is tooooo much money

  • too complicated for average people and i actually dont see much advantage of automation in housing.

Btw this kind of home automation can be done by simple PLC with cheaper touchscreens but of course they wanna make big money out of this kind of useless systems.

I;e. i put that light in the dining room already on before i found the actual button on that silly touchscreen...

  • I dont get tonys point or parahelix? this will be the the norm in 20 years time if you dont like it then you dont have to have it, like your mobile phone, ipod, stero,TV,sat system and car all these you already take for granted your ether a part of evolution or you die out.

  • That's awesome!

  • too much technology.my house is called the dumb house its 1999 everyday in my house, your future house sucks.

  • I love technology but at times I wish we lived back in caves.
