You should always drive in the left-hand lane when the road ahead is clear. If you are overtaking a number of slower-moving vehicles, you should return to the left-hand lane as soon as you are safely past. Slow-moving or speed-restricted vehicles should always remain in the left-hand lane of the carriageway unless overtaking. You MUST NOT drive on the hard shoulder except in an emergency or if directed to do so by the police, HA traffic officers in uniform or by signs.
You know when all those cars had to move over to the right to pass you? Don't you think it might have been the smart and unselfish thing to do would be to MOVE OVER TO THE FUCKING INSIDE LANE YOU SELFISH TURD!
That's the easy bit - you really wanna go from M4 west and join the M5 south - watching out for traffic queuing up on the left to get off at Filton, people cutting in from your right (asking to be collected by a lorry going in the M5 north lane) and then navigate through two lanes of traffic joining in from your right before joining the main M5 south motorway... i do that every day on my way to work;) That's the fun bit:)
You, my friend, were hogging the middle lane... Shame on you!
Never approach that intersection on a Saturday morning in August during the school holidays. It is a bloody nightmare. Why it still goes down to 2 lanes going southbound is beyond me...
I heard that the junction had a 'concrete cancer' which rendered the structure dangerous. It is the oldest 4-level stack junction in Europe. And the section you were driving into at the end of the clip is dangerous because of the stupid weaving through lanes, and even more dangerous Northbound because of people who get confused about which lane to be in.
I didn't know about the concrete cancer, but I'm not surprised.
As for the dangers on the road itself, I couldn't agree more. It's a very badly designed interchange. Driving north it's all too easy to get sucked into the wrong lane. Driving south west and aiming for the exit to Cribbs Causeway is an absolute nightmare - you need eyes in the back of your head as you try to cross three lanes of motorway traffic in what seems like just a hundred yards.
yes, and while driving on the north bound side it is easy to miss the m4 turn off because you have to pull onto the same slip road that is used to pull onto the m5 from filton :S
Another middle lane moron. Drives me potty. Forgivable I suppose, though, as he's new. Just this once!

I've been on this bit many times... and it's always been busy when it's sunny (especially when approaching the M4!)

It's dangerous because of idiots like you sitting in the middle lane while not overtaking, causing everyone else to go around you.
