  • 2:52 wtf did somebody just scream out "A NIGGER FIGHT!"?

  • their is no BREAK! in a real bar and/or club....he was screwed

  • his first error was wearing a helmet to work... thats just asking to be punched

  • FAIL!

  • wait a second -- is this a what NOT to do scenario .

That why is called the "bad bonuncer scenario

  • If the guy in the yellow just shut his mouth instead of arguing with drunk idiots none of that would have happened

  • this is a joke! I assume the guys acting as the doormen were the students and no matter what they said or did,it was always going to end in a scuffle. not reality training

  • meanwhile about 50 people are now walking into your club LOL

  • @09R1PILOT LOL

  • I bounce at a Latin place with a lot of MS cats. You pull that shit you might get a crowd waiting outside for ya.We still get down though just can't be fighting all the time.

  • What a disgrace.

  • All I can say is that if those kids went to work on a door, they would get hurt, seriously hurt. Crowd control can be dangerous work. The best crowd controllers are the ones that control a situation verbally but have the necessary skills to protect themselves and the patrons if things get physical. Thats what crowd CONTROL is, controling crowds and situations. I saw little verbal or physical skills here, just a bunch of kids setting themselves up for a kicking. Pretty sad really.

  • well put dcraig1865....

  • I can only assume that this was just to show that many things can go wrong and this isn't the part showing the actual training because the bouncer in yellow does EVERYTHING wrong. Not only does he go on the offensive, he attacks, then pushes they guy into a crowd of his buddies and away from his only backup, at that point he is surrounded and gets his ass kicked. DUH Even before any martial arts are used, the first tool in a bouncers bag needs to be his brain. Think like a bouncer.

  • crap

  • Why is everyone knocking this video? Roadhouse says that its easier to keep them out then kick them out. But thats what they are doing here, keeping them out. Also its a good idea to get them used to being in a very chaotic enviroment with lots of people shouting and pushing, dont you think? Im sure this isnt the only training they do, just the most interesting one to watch.

  • well said

  • its me James...I usually don't judge but a training session need to teach proven methodology. A classroom training system has to be 'structured' & course work

defined, executed and reviewed in depth...this video shows none of that.

  • this was stupid

  • There's only one thing more pathetic than loudmouthing: virtual loudmouthing.

  • fake

  • really?? what gave it awaym, the fact that they are in a brightly lit gym or that they are all wearing safety helmets?

  • @randmnumber the brightly lit gym and the fact they are all wearing safety helmets?

  • obiously its fucky fake did you nt read the fucking tittle it says "TRAINING" you fucking idiot

  • Okay, firstly did't know if the boncers in Aus wore saftey gear. Secondly I am a Door Man friendly warning, if u speak to me like that again it will be u that will need the saftey gear.

  • what is this shit? gay boys!!!

  • SHIT !!

  • most bouncers will try to feel you up in a fight. true..most are willy lovers

  • i have to admit.

    that was really quite funny!

  • Aw man, keep your fantasies out of this.

  • I have been a bouncer for 28 years at 55 establishments. I am a published author and respected worldwide as an authority in the field of nightclub & Bar security.

If this is a bouncer school...it is very SAD. It is easy to see errors in the de-escalation skills. Control at the door is critical. The senerio is staged to product what stimulus I have no clue. Bottomline - if a patron is unruly at the door..he will be unruly inside the club. Its easier to keep them out..then to put them out.

  • @RoadhouseDocHoliday

    Doorman for 5 years.

    Agreed.

I always instruct new doorstaff and those staff i feel are not following the venue mission statement the following.

9 out of 10 evictions should never take place if the guys on the door are doing there job.

correct communication and body language is upmost in correct door control and crowd control policy.

Only touch people when you need to , vocal tone and correct language skills are a must.

Graham Gibbons , Albany Western Australia.

  • Continued.

Another problem i have with this video .. well problems are the following,.

    1. The doorman loses control of the situation when he decides to ask for the manager ..

He he made a call to refuse entry. Dealt.

The manager is NOT needed just because

the "would be " patron disagress,.

    2. The manager explaining why the patron has been refused... seriously wtf?

The patron has been informed once already.

After that ... there is no requirement to answer or justify your position.

  • Actually, basic psychology dictates once communications have come to a stand still between two individuals the introduction of a new individual is condusive to the agressor changing his mind and co-operating.The person demanding entrance is much more likely to listen to reason and walk away if the manager confirms the bouncer's decision. That way you'll avoid a fight right on your doorstep, and the bouncer can always step in and knock the guy out if he attacks the manager. It's kind of win-win.

  • @mitjakaramatsov I disagree , however i do understand your principle. There are only 3 times my doorstaff are instructed to ever ask for my assitance. 1: Alpha call ( Fight ) / ( Physcial eviction ) 2: Police or other public office requiring manager 3:Clarification on a previous instruction or subject that has not previously been discussed. If the would be patron has been refused entry. They are not to signal for my help. There called door staff for a reason. Act professional. do the job.
  • No I agree with your main point.

From the footage it just looked like it was a one-man door. If you have a team of guys backing you up you should indeed keep the manager out of it. But if it's just you, you have to have a different strategy.

  • @mitjakaramatsov

Fair call. I always back my doorstaff ... when the situation requires it.

IMO: No venue should ever have less than 2 men on the door.

In Australia our laws require 2 for the first 100 patrons ... 1 per 100 after that.

Good venues have more. Ie: Our venue has 6-8 security staff from open to close.

And an average patron max of 250 - 300.

Regards 1 man door. In my own experience , calling the manager generally leads to a lose of control of the situation.

  • 1 Man on the door. 3 rules: A: Infrom person of refusal (IE: Sorry , No ID .. No entry .. Period ) B: Offer alternative to refusal (IE: Current Drivers License with photo ) C: Never explain your call any futher. If at any of those stages you feel the need for physical assitance ... show of force etc ... sure.. Call me down .. and as your manager i will assit. But dont call me down to explain your call to some idiot out the front. But yea i think we agree on the main points :)
  • That sounds very good. Here in London it's 1 per 100 customers, and not every venue sticks to that either.

    Best of luck

  • Wow if your really ARE Ivan Arsenault, Hi Doc its James here from New Zealand. I didnt think you wee quite that judgemental of others considering trainers can always learn more, is what I believe.

I think the training has been done at a school or perhaps some youth course with school kids by an actual doorman trainer, and where the trainings gone sort of pear shaped. I get what he's trying to achieve is a more real time training, however I think the young lads just wanna muck around.

  • @RoadhouseDocHoliday I have been a bouncer for 16 years and I invite you to view some of my clips from the staff I used to run. We handle a lot of bar brawls but security keeps it professional. I invite your comments. Had I known of you a couple of years ago, I would have looked you up when I lived near Daytona. That is where you are now right?

  • lol

  • flabberjabs, if your in school you have no chance of being a bouncer. you need to be 18 year + to do the course and to apply for the SIA licence. you dont need any grades at all to be a door supervisor, its all common sense at the end of the day!! theres no such course that will take you 2 years of your life in college to be one of these, it takes 4 days.

  • i have worked the door for 2 years at both nightclubs and bars....no offence to anybody but this is ridiculous

  • agreed.

  • Also I think before you flame this vid it is worth pointing out the title again, if you didnt pick up on it.

  • All got a bit stupid there, if he was gon react like that on the door, he as well layin them out. On the other hand i think more reality based training hould be practised, but then......

  • well to be a bouncer you must not have any brain cells and must be a fat bald headed tosser. tell your teacher i think you would be ideal for the job flabberjabs.

  • bunch of fucking geeks.

  • hell yeah bunch a pussies i am a real bouncer they woulda all got tossed on that ass

  • i am wanting to be a bouncer what school quilitfications will i need , my teacher want to know at school.

    anyone

  • In Australia you need to do a one week course and not have a crimincal record.

However for most people being a bouncer is more of a part time job as opposed to a carrer.

  • well ol paul ....., must have been one of those guys that ran his mouth too much, then ended up getting his ass tossed , really no qualifications but alot of experience one of many skills i have is tea kwon do you must have a long fuse other wise your chasing off alot of customers. if ya from the u.s. flabberjabs ya better off inlisting in the military as an m.p. or you can get what security must which is c.l.e.e.t. license.

  • are you a doorman then?

tkd's a good skill to have i do it too and intend to use that when i've done my doorman course.

  • Please tell me you're not talking about Tae Kwon Do!! U will get your face stamped on when u try high kicks on the street and fall on your ass.

Try Krav Maga mate. Much more appropriate for doormen

  • yes Krav Maga is probably the best for the streets

but i know plenty of doorman who do TKD. and they have managed to survive fine, and its not about high kicking people, self defence is about using whats apropriate for the situation.

  • Remember that most doormen are pretty capable without any martial art.

TKD, while a great sport and martial art would be well down my list of practical martial arts for doormen

  • @whizzkid27 Any martial arts training should help in this line of work. TKD is alot more than just "high kicks". There are holds, takedowns, not to mention front and side kicks.

  • still not the ideal martial art for self defence on the street. IMO holds and takedowns are rather limited in TKD but it may vary from club to club

  • @whizzkid27 well certainly, as I said, there are plenty of martial arts to choose from. Choose to train the one you like the most. :)

  • @whizzkid27 well said. im 20 and work the doors in the UK, been training in krav maga for 3 years and the filipino martial arts for 1. ive had to use krav b4 when i had no other choice, very effective.

  • most bouncers work on the weekends.

not much skill is required, whatever the bar owner requires. Good thing about this job, you don't need a license. Where in security, bodyguards, police officer, correctional officers etc

have to be licensed through the Dept. of criminal Justice(in my state)

  • in WA you do need a license...it falls under crowd control

  • you do need a licence to be a bouncer. you can be fined alot of money if found working un licenced

  • in Virginia it is not required to have a license to be a bouncer as I stated in my post "in my state" meaning other states have their laws about bouncers.

  • kids playing

  • what a bunch of cunts if u had of been in the uk the guy would of got knocked the fuck out in under 20 secs ........ what a joke

  • your the man. no seriously, your the man. Dick head.

  • YOU CUNTS

  • zzzzzzzzzz wake me up when its finished

  • I think the whole thing is set up as a bit of a test to the "bouncer" in white.

Maybe the dude in yellow was supposed to act like a dick to see how the guy in white handled the situation.

  • this isn't a bad bouncer scenario. I've been bouncing for 5 years now and I would have removed the guy long before he got a chance to assault anyone. It's our job to remove people from the bar and to remove them from in front of the bar if they are creating a problem. I had a guy chew on my thumb last night.. similar situation. He was in my face. You DON"T GET IN A BOUNCERS FACE!!!!

  • The guy in the yellow shirt, all the mistakes before that are ok, but him charging, thats a no no.

  • What a stupid way to train...

spending 2:30 having a fake argument isn't going to help you defend yourself. Why don't you save time by simple scrambling like idiots from the very begining

  • WAT A LOAD OF BOLLOCKS

  • Wie lange möchte dieser Türsteher denn an der Tür überleben...? In der Hoffnung das er niemals zum Einsatz kommen wird...

  • what reality is this? a reality where bouncers are skinny faggots?

  • u are a faggot if u think that just "big fat bouncers" do a good job .... these "big fat bouncers" just intimidate (some) people ;)

  • ye like u and ur gay crew of metrosexuals

  • ... hehe, pisda jedna u bastard

  • du armes kind ...

  • Add 'watch?v=rA_bzwPLcr0' to the end of a youtube URL link and let me know if you can put your beanaldo chin up to the brutal inhumane beating that those "skinny faggots" will undoubtedly perform on you. You'd be knocked dead and receiving soccer kicks in less than fifteen seconds.

    E

  • Lots of mistakes, mainly allowing the crowd to circle the two bouncers. Going after the one guy and pushing him into the circle made it worse. This is a case for radioing for backup. 9 out of 10 times hearing that more bouncers are coming keeps the crowd from getting too brave.

  • well in my venue u get the manager and keep the customers noving in if he wants to fight let him make the first move on u then u can claim self defense no matter what. . but if u look closely the one guy pushed the acting doorman therefore an assault has taken place and police should be called. that way the police can diffuse the situation and u carry on with your job.

  • truly shithouse

  • The most fucking stupid video i have ever seen..

    1) the yellow 'doorman' would have got turned over, long before, never do arguments last 2 minutes at the door

    2) he would have been arrested for assault. he attacked the customer

    3) they look like a bunch of dick heads who have never been laid, let alone been in a club before

  • This is obviously Bouncer Training for White Boys.

  • your obviously a black boy who doesnt belong?

  • Let's not degrade ourselves in the face of one racist.

  • I didnt degrade shit. Look at my +'s.

  • Big deal, you are a sheep who preaches the garbage non-sensical bigotry passed down through generations apparently, your arguments are weak assuming you are a racist. My comment was as opposed to the one you were commenting on initially only I didn't end up making people wonder how prevalent bogotry still is in white people. Just like the high-school boy whose pitiful repetoire of insults ends at "fag" you fail. Walk upright for a change.

  • Wait, did you just say something? I couldnt tell if you were talking or DRIBLING SHIT AGAIN.

  • No, I didn't say anything. I was too busy fucking your mom.

  • For someone who tries to say something mature then stoops low to make mum jokes, you really did just blow your cover of being a half educated person and now we see your real side. Just another broke ass fool from the streets without an education.

  • From you, that hurts.

    When in Rome...

  • It takes to long. The Club/Disco is bankrupt before the 1st guessts can step in. ;-)

  • doctor phill discussion group...

  • LARP

  • One of the most retarded things Ive ever seen

  • Shit, I've seen this exact same shit happen many times in real life.

  • Any well trained door staff would have never let a situation escalate to that point...and it wouldnt have been abuse due to the guy in gray pushing first.

  • AHHAHAHA. fucking kids. bouncers... BOUNCE ppl out of clubs. they have a right to remove someone. if they dont go peacefully theyll go forcefully.

  • that was quite funny actually

  • In real life the guy in the yellow shirt would be killed

  • Very true. Stupid move to have made in real life. If for some reason he can't stop himself for starting off a fight he should have at least stayed in the club and kept the fight at the door instead of rushing outside with a shit load of angry people in que just waiting for some release.

  • stupid. And its not assault, the idiot in dark shirt pushed him first.

  • that's assualt by the bouncer

  • that was shit

  • wtf?

  • funny +++
