Why are you not in the cycle lane, the road clearly tells you to move left into it, give other road users a chance to overtake, whats the matter with you.
@qtipsue I think you're not an advanced driver, not from the IAM anyway. If you were, you'd know that my road positioning here is spot on, and I'm correctly avoiding the 50 yards of feeder lane, which would put me on the left through the junction. That's a dangerous position for cyclists. Besides which, at 30mph and/or riding through junctions, it's much better to stay in the lane. I imagine you're not much of a cyclist either. ;)
@TheSplash55 It's a Dinotte 400L (I think now called a 400R) with the big battery option. I love it, it's a fine rear light. My mate (a copper), thought I was a traffic car with the reds on the first time he came up behind me on my commute. LOL!
Cracking, how many times loads of us want that to happen to people. In fairness I've been flashed by cameras whilst in the car and never got a ticket as was going the limit- they can be unreliable- but his panic brake must not have been good!
@0161Andy LOL! I'm very much in favour of many hidden speed cameras, average speed cameras, etc. It's easy not to get speeding tickets if drivers don't speed. Hidden cameras will encourage people to be under the limit all the time as they'll never know when they might be videoed, instead of just slowing down for an obvious camera like this.
@NoshRunner That's a fair question. I don't use this cycle lane as it's of the type known as Death Alley. Besides, it's only 50 yards long, and would make me go through the junction to the left side, which is poor cycling. It's far better to hold the lane through this section of road, and at 30mph I'm hardly holding up Mr Subaru or anyone else. There's no point in rushing up to the red light either, as that's not going to save any time at all, and will waste fuel and brakes. Fair enough?
@CyclingMikey Yes,sure. I am quite an avid cyclist myself, and although I don't profess to know the ins and outs of cycling laws, isn't it advisable to stay to the side of the road? I know you can move out when, as you say, it gets dangerous, but for quite a few stretches on some of yoru videos, you are almost right in the middle of the road?
@NoshRunner It's known as vehicular cycling, and is a set of philosophies for minimising risk when cycling. Riding left is often more risky than riding in the lane. You're in the UK? I'd recommend getting a book called Cyclecraft, by John Franklin. It's published by the govt. stationery office, and recommended by RoSPA, and is the basis for National Standards cycling as taught across the whole of the UK. It's widely regarded as the cycling equivalent to the police Roadcraft manuals.
In the Netherlands the bicycle lanes are often a lot wider so no need to drive on the car lane. But in cases there is no bicycle lane or a very narrow car lane I also prefer the middle of the car lane so they don't have a chance of passing me dangerously close by.
Looking at the many video's of Mikey, the bicycle lanes in the UK are too narrow and the driving of car's isn't safe for bicycles so I really understand why Mikey is driving in the middle of the car lane. Much safer
@busog97641 CyclingMikey almost always has 3 dislikes on his videos. I guess someone must have registered under 3 different usernames on Youtube just to dislike his videos.
I always subtract 3 dislikes when calculating the likeness of CyclingMikey's videos. So, Mr Hater of CyclingMikey, I'm sorry to tell you that your all your "work" was for nothing.
@CyclingMikey See Mr Hater of CyclingMikey? Your hate brought laughter upon us, which extended our lives. That's exactly the opposite of what you intended, which is make us miserable. But if you really can't quit hating us, here's an idea: dislike our comments, too!
@CyclingMikey Because baz hopes they get 12 points. Don't you think its a bit harsh? Its very to easy to judge someone and want something bad to happen to them. I just wished the same for baz, I think its fair. That's all.
@Mikerskr They chose to break the law and speed. So why is it unfair to hope that they face the consequences for their actions? Assuming that Baz doesn't speed, he won't get points.
@StupidlyRandom Even the police give 3 points for speeding, so you think 12 points is fair? Come on people, in these videos everyone comments like they have never broken a law or done anything wrong. Very interesting... I am really curious about how all these commenting people drive like. Even the "perfect drivers" in other videos must have done something wrong in the past. So, lets agree on the 3 points and 60 quid fixed penalty? :)

Poor Motorist, Speed cams are nothing but extra tax for the council. I feel sorry for him! Common now guys, have a group hug. LOL
Also loves it when they try to overtake on speed bumps at more than 20mph, always makes me laugh.
