lol I love the pop into the camera upside down. You're so lucky man! I need a decent cleaver.. They're SO handy!!..and great for low budget home defence ; ) lol That's cool how ya did the squash. Sometimes I cut it up the same and slow fry it in margerine (or butter, olive oil..whatever works) mmmm.. Those are the perfect size too! Ya gotta hook me up some of the seeds! : )
What are you growing your sprouts in I have seen a lot of videos on sprouts but haven't eaten them in years back to thevpoint of the video what kind of winter squash is that I would like to see if I can find some of those seeds and try them here in southern California I know you are in Canada hope fully they can grow here as well
@MarshmallowVogt I use a store bought sprouter. And I'm pretty sure you could find some kinf of squash that grows for you. Th only thing is that they need lost of water, like everyday, especially when they are growing some fruits.
@MarshmallowVogt LOL! Well they do grow in the summer, they just take more time to grow than the summer squash and one plant will grow fewer squashes. ut the name comes mosty because of their hard skin, they can be stored over winter in a cool place. Summer squashes can't .
I really shouldn't watch videos when I need sleep. I read the title of this one as..."How to pee on a winter squash". See? Sleep first, then watch videos. Oops.
Nice carving! I like to cut them in half, sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon and pop them in the oven for a couple of hours, the old New England way from years gone by.
I like the little size vs. the huge butternut type.
I have never had winter squash...have seen them..heard they're really good.
They store for quite a while after harvest, right?
Is that a particualr variety or ..are winter squash all the same?
....maybe its the name.."squash" that...never particularly gave me the desire to try it...squash..sounds squishy.. like the yellow squash.. lol but this looks really good!
@gardenvespers777 Yeah I love those little squashes. Ad they do store for a very long time in cool temp. And they're all similar...but differ a bit in texture and taste. you should try one out, or a few ;)
@PlatypusGuitar Whats cookin Platy G , ?? ....you found me again..lol... be by your home channel to check out some grub , stop by any time the food and drink are always on the house.....!!!

That's a peeling. I just bake them & scoop out the meat. This peeling squash thing is actually a brand new concept for my brain to get with ... cool
Those worried about global warming should eat it raw.
