Because of this illness, my mom has had to live a very restricted life..... She can't go to all the places she wants to go to because of the fears of certain flashing lights sending her into a seizure, she can't drive to go anywhere she wants to be, and she can't even take a bath alone anymore..... This illness has truly destroyed a major portion of her life and has also affected others around us..... It's hard watching her go through this illness.....

She says that she feels like she is locked in a prison and it really takes a toll on her..... It's really hard watching her have the seizures and waking up and not even knowing who her on daughter is..... Thank you for bringing awareness to this debalitating disorder and I hope that more is done to help those suffering from it..... Thank you.
