Has anyone ever been to "The Ritz" in Jamaica? If so, what was it like? I was thinking of taking my girlfriend there for her birthday, and I wanna make sure she likes it...
i wasn't talking about who owns the hotels, i was talking about having more every day Jamaicans depicting sweet jamaica, rather than the tourists and their upscale version.......
Coozie!!!! You got it going on Mon!! My wife and I vacationed in Ocho Rios this year. We were amazed at the hearts of the Jamaicans. Sincerity at its finest!!! Would go back in a heartbeat. Save me a spot by the pool!! :) Wondering where some of the footage in this video was filmed. We stayed at the Riu Ocho Rios. I could live off "Jerk" chicken, :) Coozie, my friend.....Keep on Keeping on!!! You Rock!!! RESPECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hey coozie.......how about a next vid showing more everyday jamekya and less foreigners/hotels?? if it's the 'dearest to your soul' why not come home and add your creative energy to building/creating it?
@rootz9 I think you need to do a little research. Sandals,Hedonism,Grand Lido and the Super resorts,FDR,Pegasus,are all Jamaican owned. In fact, on no island are the majority of the hotel industry is owned by natives except for Jamaica. Jamaicans own 60% of their hotels. I wish it were 100% but that's not how the world works. Wall Street isn't even majority owned by the United States,Germany owns 60%.
