I've owned 3 street bikes, a 1980 Yamaha 650 special, a 1979 Kawasaki KRZ 1000 and the latest, a 2003 H.D. Road King Classic. Only dropped the Kawasaki once. Sold the H.D. last year. Got out of it while I can still walk. I was lucky. Seen too many friends crash, get hurt and even one close friend died. If you are going to ride. Please be safe. Dying isn't the worst that can happen.

I've had a CDL for 9 years now until getting my motorcycle license 3 years ago. @AeroSS87 Completely true.  Ive been rear ended at a stop light. The guy was going about 50 when he hit me and i was stopped. I saw it coming and reacted quickly enough to turn my wheel to the right to avoid hitting the car in front of me, and going up on the sidewalk. That two car accident would have turned into about 5 if i hadnt been paying attention. You always need to be looking.
