  • @kralle902

  • @MrRammsteinKicksAss They'll know who is the boss? ;)

  • Adorable.

  • German uniforms really do look CRAP these days.

  • Their uniforms look like bus drivers outfits with berets. Get the old Pickelhaube back and play some hardcore Prussian marches!

  • @carlhungus89 AMEN! We agree!

  • These guys and gals are good! They need to find it in their expenses for a few Italian or Jewish tailors! Their ancestors did!

  • Absolutely loved this! And those flutists at the end - brilliant! Thanks for making my day : )))

  • Omg what happened to the german military tradition. A big DISLIKE for that rubbish... Looks like the german army is in a urgend need for a reform back to it's roots.

  • @HAYABUSASENTOTAI they do when a fallen soilder is dead for the momarial

  • there uniforms look a lot like my service dress uniform in rotc

  • I aggree, but that's what todays pacifist Germany looks like...

  • Still one of my favourite videos. I can watch this everyday.

  • With all due respect. This is one of the worst marching drills I have EVER seen. I would be pretty embarassed if it was my regiment who performed this bad......

  • @carkadk are you kidding?? this is good !

  • Extraordinary ! The Medley contains a Very Nice Choice of Music.

  • 2:00 the best :D

  • Great music!

  • The Goosestep is a Prussian creation of the early 18th century. Peter The Great adopted it for Russia after his visit to Prussia. As many as 30 countries use the Goosestep or a modification of it today, Mexico, Chile, and Cuba just to name 3.

  • Hey..To let you know that at the end is a Nazi Marching song. Can't remember it though.

  • @sgtrichardl No it isnt.

  • @NecroPhil85 Yeah it is.. Learn history like me.. I know my songs. Konzgretzer marsch,Wenn die soldaten,Gloria,Erika, etc.

  • @sgtrichardl

"Entrance of the Gladiators" or "Entry of the Gladiators" (Czech: Vjezd gladiátorů, German: Einzug der Gladiatoren) is a military march composed in 1897 by the Czech composer Julius Fučík. He originally titled it "Grande Marche Chromatique," reflecting the use of chromatic scales throughout the piece, but changed the title based on his personal interest in the Roman Empire.

Learn history like me dur hur

  • HEERES KORPS THE BEST MUSIK BAND IN GERMANY <3

  • Sehr schön!

  • good music playing but, good lord, can it be more sloppy. I've seen better marching with a high school band. Germany must upgrade this thing to look a little bit more historical with more traditional uniforms and marching style!

  • @james858 sloppy is the word. germany lost its history because of the nazis. thats all people around the world remember germany for. unfortunately.

  • Very sloppy and americanised compared to the East german army which (strangely) kept the prussian tradition alive - at least till 1990.

  • @xandar2711 then it died, it was that good.

  • I enjoyed this. As an English lady I have no problem with goose stepping. It's extremely smart and impressive. Leave the informality to the Yanks. One thing shocked me - was that a female with masses of loose hair ruining the line of her uniform. Personally I thought that looked tatty. Much better tied into a neat bun.

  • sad pathetic catamites. a disgrace to the Landsers

  • wie alles von Dir ! 1. Sahne

    Klasse!!!

  • Preussens Gloria ! Play the whole song , do not hide . You have glorious past , so show it . Others do not hide it . WW2 is over , but Germany lives forever !

I know in my heart that those man would like to play it . My heart is with this proud and strong nation .

  • Winnie9212 - super quali- klasse ! Weiter so!!!!!!

  • sadly this is as close as the cowardly bundscheise will ever come to actual fighting

das is der beste verein i have ever seen

  • American bands must execute Michael Jacksons moonwalk, not goosesteps, U.S. style nowadays are all like pop.

what country originate the goose step march? is it the russians? pls confirm

  • @angelglow02

"Goose step" is a Prussian marching style emerged in early 19th century.

  • @Winnie9212 - It's old than that, going back at least to the Seven Years War. In fact, the British army also marched goosestep style until the Crimean War, when it was abandoned so as not to offend the French. (Crimea was the first war in which Britain and France fought on the same side.)

  • @angelglow02

After the WW II the goose step "Stechschritt" isent en vogue in germany, but you can see them in the Chilen army somthimes.

  • @angelglow02 hahaah you want to know which country has a pop-like style? Korea. check out their honor guard and silent drill

  • Comment removed

  • @angelglow02 the first recorded 'parade march' ( goosestep to me and you) is found in Swedish military records in the 18th century. It strengthens the thigh muscles apparantly. The British army had a version in the mid 19th century.

  • @angelglow02 the goose step is a marching step first used by Prussia in the 18th century under Frederick the Great. It was designed to allow all the soldiers to march int heir regiment in perfect linear formation so that the rank and file would not be broken by th emere fact of marching. In other words, it was actually useful back then.

  • @angelglow02 Prussians

  • As an old bandsman, I'm glad goose stepping never caught on in the USA..

  • Ich liebe es :D

  • still a nice medley!

  • deutschmeister regimentsmarsch is an austrian march, not a german one....it was written by the austrian wilhelm august jurek...

  • @holesandt1 Ever heard of the "German Regiments" in Austrian army back in the 19th century? Austria had German and Hungarian Regiments back then and those march was written for one of the German regiments. And its actually not Austrian one its an international march :)

  • where can i find a full version of hohenfriedberger by modern military band? pls msg me.

  • can anyone tell me ,,how can I download this for my mp3 for free?

  • @Topgearthebest88 go to youtubedroid döt com and copy paste the url of this video into the bar :)

  • if you ask me, hohenfriedberger is the best :D

  • They should bring back the old uniforms. This whole beret and ties bullshit makes them look like a US highschool band outfit.

  • @HayabusaSenToTai Agreed.

  • like konigs... march dont know how to write the and of the name lol and prussian glory 2 :)

  • @padvergoldeter Koniggratzer marsch one ofthe great marches I agree.

    Birkbeck

  • @padvergoldeter

i think you mean the Königgrätzer Marsch right?

  • Erst Marsch, "ein Jagger aus Kurpflaz"

    Zweite Marsch ist Preussen Gloria"

    Alle Besten marschen, deutscher sind

  • @derpreussen

Do I also here Florentina and the March of The ansbach/Byreuth Dragoon Guards

  • :) yes you do

  • can watch it over and over again *****

    Greetings from Croatia

  • The Germans certainly have a special talent when it comes to martial music.....From America...BRAVO

  • ist das der deutschmeiser regiments march ?

  • Klingt gut...

    Echt suuuuper ;-))

  • nice german culture :D that made my day

  • I'd like to hear this band in a proper auditorium. The acoustics in that building must be terrible. I'm sure they'd sound a lot better in a smaller venue. They sound very accomplished, even in that place.

  • Duss anyone know what that medley is that start's from 2:04 through to 2:12 I've here'd it before when the mighty german army mach's through the street's of paris.

    Back in 1939 or 40 I think.

  • Hi that march is called "Preußens Gloria" we stil play it in ower Marching band ^^ its my favorite march, and ist out of the time were we still had Kings, around 1871

  • @bizmark1488

The name of the march is called " Preussen`s Gloria " ( Glory of Prussia ).

    Best regards, Matze

  • The Nazis had the coolest uniforms in history. Take them back! Just get rid of certain insignia.....

  • I totally agree with Woodman

  • They should still goose step, albeit in the more civilized less aggressive way.

Its still apart of their past long before Hitler came to power. I think its a disgrace to all those Germans who died forming Germany and fought against Hitler to just throw it out the door.

  • woodman19. how can you possibly goose step without aggression? thats part of the march. hitler is long gone, the german nation survives. the musical traditions carry on. let the germans decide what way they want to play it.

  • Chile currently has the Prussian military tradition and since they have become Democratic again in the last decade use a more "humane" form of the goose step.

Instead of slamming the feet back to the ground they simply just do it in a more normal walking fashion, it still looks pretty good.

I suggest you look up clips of Chilean military Parade and see what i mean.

  • woodman19. i agree that the chilean version is great, but, i still like the german version. i have looked at chilean military parades and they are fab i especially like the tambormajors, their skills are absolutely amazing

  • in a tradition called "schützenfest"...its paramilitary , some areas here in germany still ..or again use the goose step...

  • Dorni2405. the german military tradition is second to none, i was a british soldier and if i needed someone from a different country on my side i would hope he was a german. oh! your military music and drill are "the bees knees" (great, in translation)

  • @woodman19

How exactly are you supposed to "goose step" in a more civilized and less aggressive way? I don't see much leeway for modification...

  • @Schuultz

The true goosestep calls for soldiers to slam their feet down to the ground as hard as they can to make it as intimidating as a soudn as possible. This causes immense stress on the feet as using the technique for even 15 min's cause pain.

The modern techniques dont require such forcefull feet slamming, simply putting more focus on the synchronization of the step rather then the slam is what I was referring to. Chile currently uses the more humane technique.

  • @Schuultz

military schouldn't be non aggressive because its the police then but with better weapons^^

  • @woodman19 Yes and grab multicolour flags, wear a tiara and flowers...Less agressive way??? Am sorry, I thought it was a MILITARY MARCH (aggressiveness and tradition at its finest) , not a "love parade" .... Goose-stepping was not introduce by Hitler, and it is part of the German military tradition...

  • @XxLIVRAxX Back more than that the goose step is of prussian roots.

  • I must admit it is a great shame to see a German marching band neutralised in this way. But it's great music all the same. :)

  • Fine music, but the marching generally, and dressing (staying in line) needs more work.

  • in general they're no marching band i think...

  • Thanks for that info, ossavi, I lived in Germany for 3 years and admit I never saw a military marching band display..

  • It's not true that we don't do public appearances, but they're rare. And not quite as impressive as they used to be. But if you do a search for "Wachbataillon", you'll find some stuff.

  • Thanks Chiron84..hope you are not offended by my comments.

  • You're welcome. But why should I be offended? You should see me doing formal serivce :-D

  • ossavi.. having now watched some videos of military parades in Chile, I agree with you totally. Political correctness prevents this being done in Germany itself.

  • @82648947 lol Uniforms from a Democraty looks shit only Fascism Uniforms looks good

  • @klinge1993

  • Actually, little boy, you should open your eyes.

The NVA's Uniforms were cut like the Wehrmacht's Uniforms, because GDR-Leadership wanted to establish a traditional line.

The Bundeswehr's Uniforms are cut in a very civil way like normal Suits, except the Pockets.

  • @DerTommy86 NVA/DDR=dictatory and not Democraty

  • @DerTommy86 Honestly, the Bundeswehr's uniforms look like shit.

  • @rtgoodson They should bring back the World War two uniforms at least the luftwaffe kept the old style.

  • @BobCrane787 Luftwaffe has exactly the same style as Army, only the color is different. But that's what history brought us. After the seperation of Germany, the West-German Bundeswehr wanted more civil-style Uniforms, while the East-German NVA related its style very strongly to the Wehrmacht from WW2. After the Reunification, the NVA was integrated to the Bundeswehr. So now we sadly have uniforms that look like crap.

  • @rtgoodson

We call this tradition. Like the color of our national football team. Black, white and red; the colors of the "Kaiserreich"!

  • Wie heißt der noch mal bei 2:22 ???

    Wirklich super gemacht :)

  • 02:20 bis 02:39 Einzug der Gladiatoren

  • Der Hohenfriedberger Marsch ist am besten !

  • VICTORY BELONGS TO GERMANYYYYYY!

  • @chrisredfield3636 yes I agree, Germans rule the EU. Ich bin nacht Festung Bresla!:)

  • @chrisredfield3636 bollocks! you can only play fitba for 90 minutes and sometimes win. but if you fight a war for years, you always lose. GERMANY 0 - 2 GREAT BRITAIN and NORTHERN IRELAND.

  • @MrJimmyboy1972 Are you for real? dude its the 21 centry leave what happend back in the 1940's where they belong STFU and i have no idea what your trying to say

  • @chrisredfield3636 what i am trying to say is: your post, and i quote, "VICTORY BELONGS TO GERMANYYYYYY!" isnt true. wouldnt you agree?

  • @MrJimmyboy1972

I think what he trys to say is that we don't have anything to do ( our generation ) with Hitler and all other Nazis . . . I think when he says "VICTORY BELONGS TO GERMANYYYYYY!" he only means that we are a democratic country who can be very proud on their history except the 12 years between '33 and '45 !

  • @ColaPac Do the Greeks hate Alexander the Great for destroying entire populations during his imperial expansion? Do the Italians hate ancient Rome for conquering and murdering millions during their 2000 year history? Do the Romanians hate Vlad the Impaler for turning back the Ottomans vis a via his brutal tactics with prisoners? Do the Japanese hate Emperor Hirohito for WWII? Do the English, French, Spanish, and other western powers hate their leaders for centuries of colonial genocide? Move on.

  • @rtgoodson

What are you trying to say ?

  • @ColaPac Simple. There's no reason for Germans to be ashamed of their history during WWII, and their collective guilt is a result of the propaganda effect from Allied Occupation. In time, WWII will fade away into the annuals of history. Neither the Allied of Axis powers were free of war crimes, and every civilization on the planet commits them. Move on.

  • @MrJimmyboy1972

    Germany 0 - Great Britan 2 ? Dude , do you still stuck in the '40s ?

Second thing : If the Russians wouldn't have been you surely would have lost WWII and if the Americans hadn't been you would have lost WWI . . . England never fought against Germany as a only army !

  • @ColaPac no! i am refering to the thirties and forties, you forget that hitler and his mob had a pact with russia (non aggression pact) we savd the russians after you stabbed them in the back. we and the americans supplied the russians or they would have went under. they didnt, the german thinking at home left soldiers to perish in the russian winter, didnt supply them, forgot about them. the american forces came in late in both wars. but that was enough. dont start something you cant finish.

  • @MrJimmyboy1972

What do you mean with ''we'' ? You haven't been in the war . . . second thing , the Russians saved themself ! And don't tell me anything about the war . . . I'm a Polish man ! But as a in Germany living Polish man I love Germany !

  • @ColaPac och! you have forgotten your history. my father and grandfather fought in ww2 to help liberate poland, and my father in law was in the royal navy taking aid to murmansk, to help the russian war effort. love germany by all means, but! if you had been a pole in germany during ww2 you would have been a slave labourer under the whip. think about it.

  • @MrJimmyboy1972

And you haven't been there but you write it like you have been there . . . fight in a war and liberate a country , then you can be proud on you . . . but now : SHAME ON YOU !

  • @ColaPac i dont feel shame. i was a soldier in the british army for 15 years, i know what its all about son. i have seen the sad side of war, and i dont like it. but! i am proud that my mates and myself at least tried to make a difference.

  • @MrJimmyboy1972

I have been in the army too but not in a war . . . I never would use a gun firing on people . . . this is why I haven't been in a war , I'm a more peaceful people !

  • @ColaPac me too! i only fired on people who were firing at me. i think thats reasonable. i am a father and a grandfather now because of that, and, yes, i do feel for the people i was firing on.

  • @MrJimmyboy1972

    Ok bro , I can feel with you . . .

  • @ColaPac thanks for that. i need it.

  • @ColaPac So, why in the hell would you join the military then? Your comment makes no fucking sense.

  • @MrJimmyboy1972 To liberate Poland? LOL! You fools created Poland from stolen German territory following WWI, and were a direct cause of WWII via the Treaty of Versailles. On top of that, you actually started WWII under the guise of defending the Polish State, and we all know that was merely propaganda to defend the empire. In reality, fifty percent of modern Poland sits on ancient Germanic lands, and those territories should be returned to the German Volk either via peace or war. Take care.

  • @chrisredfield3636 Sir not only for Germans but for all who loves the notes (music) of God. Halelujah!!!

  • Thanks for the vid.

I wish they would bring back the field grey uniform.

  • the m-36 would look butiful

  • Fine music. Not so keen on the civilian-look uniforms. At first I thought the woman with long hair was a raghead.

  • Das ist TRADITION!!!

    BA4.
