in all to those who believe no explanation is necessary, and for those who don't, none will ever suffice... simply pray for the pro-testants and let heaven sort them out ... the Universal (Catholic) Faith in Christ is the true Faith, true Church
You have made your point that what you do is not worship. But you fail to give scripture where in the bible we are to make statues AT ALL of "saints" and honor them by kneeling. In the bible its refers to that person being physically in the presence of that individual, thus giving them honor with their presence.
@freright123 Here are several verses where God commands statues or images to be made: Exodus 25:18-22; 26:1,31; Numbers 21:8-9; 1 Kings 6:23-36; 7:27-39; 8:6-8; 1 Chronicles 28:18-19; 2 Chronicles 3:7-14; Ezekiel 41:15.
@SeptemberCatholic18 yes I read them. exodus, refers to the ark of the covenant. whic was an indwelling of God himself. That cannot be matched to building a human statue. This was refferring to the tabernacle plan, not the plan of the church today. As for the serpent. GOD COMMANDED, not the thought and reverance of a man, To biuld the serpent. it had a purpose. A statue of a saint holds no biblical purpose. Im sorry brother none these verses depicts a statue of MANKIND, but of creatures.
@freright123 Humans are creatures. The fact is, God commanded statues and images of creatures to be made. God is NOT against statues and images, he is against people worshiping them like the Israelites did to the golden calf in the desert. You need to read Exodus in context.
@SeptemberCatholic18 No, I did read in context. Just grasp the understanding please brother. Humans are indeed creatures, but even the lions and palm trees arent honored as the statues of the saints are. you still didnt give me scripture pertaining to whether statues of saints are biblical or not. What did the palm tree do to deserve recognition for?
@freright123 I gave you Scripture that shoes God isn't against statues and images as long as they aren't worshiped. That's all we need. Statues are not honored, so you're wrong that animals aren't as honored as statues. Look, Romans 13:7 says to honor all those who deserve honor; I'm doing my task from God.
@SeptemberCatholic18 no. your wrong. Your point of having a statue in the first place is to express your honor to what theyve done. give honor where honor is due. that is your point correct? 5:46-55 of video. "Statues are not honored," so yes my argument of how animals can be as honorable as a saint is a relevant argument. Because those scriptures do not condone the sculpting of saints to give honor to them. that was a man-made idea. because no where in the bible it says to sculpt saints.
@freright123 I'm not sure what you're saying, and I don't think you fully understand. A statue is not honored. We honor the saints, as Romans 13:7 says, and obviously people are more honorable than animals (Luke 12:6-7; Matt 12:12).
I think the real point is that the Bible never forbids statues of saints. It only forbids statues that are worshipped. You don't always need the Bible to say what is okay. The Bible never says you can use a computer. As long as the Bible does not forbid it.
@SeptemberCatholic18 u compared your act of bowing to an idol as that of bowing to an audience, these have 2 totally diff meanings. being that you are on the religious arena, not a theatre arena, there are many scriptures that refer bowing as an act of worship. That can not be your excuse for making images of saints"You don't always need the Bible to say what is okay"
also I've always wanted to know where in scripture it says that mary and saints intercede on our behalf, an use of rosary beads
@freright123 Um...bowing is not always worship as seen in Genesis 19:1, Genesis 42:6, and 1 Samuel 28:14. Bowing is only worship if you mean it to be worship. You have no Scripture on which to condemn the use of statues and images; you are falsely shifting the burden of proof on me.
As for the questions on Mary, the saints, and the Rosary, I have made videos on all of those. I recommend you watch those videos for all your questions there.
SORRY BUT...SADLY THE ANSWER IS...YES THEY DO! CATHOLISM HAS GOTTEN IT ALL WRONG! WHATEVER THE BIBLE SAY NOT TO DO, IS EXACTLY WHAT THEY DO! THAT IS THE SAD TRUTH!
I have met many people, from other religions and such, that have tried to convince me that the Catholic Church te were all idolaters, and that of course "The only thing right about the Catholic Doctrine was that we DID need to eat the bread of life" (The Eucharist). My question is, why are these people such hypocrites? They go on and on about Catholic Idolatry, but ACCEPT that the Eucharist is an EXCEPTION! Hypocrites I tell you.
Hey man I wanna thank you for posting this. You made a great video and it is awe inspiring to see how you patiently make well thought-out replies to each comment.
God bless you for your efforts and keep it up! Hope you keep doing this!
Exodus 20:4-5 4 You shall not make for yourself an idol, whether in the form of anything that is in heaven above, or that is on the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. 5 You shall not bow down to them OR worship them; for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, punishing children for the iniquity of parents, to the third and the fourth generation of those who reject me. Do you dispute the word of GOD?
No I do not! Catholic statues and images are NOT idols because we do not worship them. Don't you know that even God commanded that holy statues be made? Read Numbers 21:8-9.
Revelation 22:8 I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed me these things.Revelation 22:9 But he said to me, "Do not do that. I am a fellow servant of yours and of your brethren the prophets and of those who heed the words of this book. Worship God." not even supposed to worship at the feet of angels
You clearly lack awareness of what Catholics believe. We do not worship angels or people! We only worship God. There is a difference between asking people to pray for you and worshiping them!
i heard a catholic priest on an interview on the channel dedicated to that sort of thing and he said that he was more comfortable praying to mary than god because mary has a human side. so he prays to mary and asks her to petition the most high on his behalf. if that is not the way of error in your eyes then i don't know what else to tell u.
First of all, the saints in heaven are NOT dead according to Jesus (Mark 12:27). They are alive, and you are making the same mistake Jesus scolded the Jews for.
You should never feel uncomfortable praying to God. The priest was wrong. The Church does not teach that praying to Mary is somehow better or more advantageous than praying directly to God. Rather, it is rightly taught that praying to Mary in addition to God is more beneficial than not doing so.
@SeptemberCatholic18 why is it more beneficial to pray to mary and god and not just god? is he not sufficient in his hearing that he can't answer the prayers of his children? i'm asking u what purpose does mary serve in your doctrine that she has somehow become equal to christ and god in ur thought process. even an angel corrected john in revelations 22:8 when he bowed down to worship at his feet. also it says of king david that he is in the ground awaiting judgement day.
@SeptemberCatholic18 then why do you pray to her if only god is worthy? all your doing is calling it by another name. if you pray to mary and st michael the arch angel, and whatever other people or angels you consider worthy and ask them to do things for you then what is that? now u can't tell me that u don't have a prayer specifically for mary and one also for michael and so on and so forth right?
@dawatcha100 Catholics, such as I, do pray often directly to God through Jesus, but we also spend time asking Mary to pray on our behalf, and we honor her, just as one of the Ten Commandments tells us to Honor Thy Father & Mother. Mary is the greatest mother, above our earthly mothers, because she was is the Mother of Jesus Christ, our Savior, our hope, our deliverer! And who said Mary is equal to Christ in this? No one.
Honoring someone is totally different from making statues to them and having prayers to them and bowing down to and kissing them. this is superstition and has nothing to do with the god of truth. The catholic church is the whore of babylon. come out of her or share in her judgements.
Mary is somewhat of an idol to Catholics In terms of following man and not God."wait I will ask jesus myself to turn the water into wine for i am his mother"...."how be you above any of these that I should do this?"
where in the bible does it have the rituals associated with these statues..rosarie beads, hail chants, fire from heaven, miracle devices, apperitions, oil bleeding etc... they are pagan rituals and a distraction from the saviour Jesus.
No, sir they are not pagan. Look, I just prayed a Rosary this morning and I was brought closer to Jesus in that moment. I was meditating on his time in the garden, then his scourging, then his crowning with thorns, then his journey to Calvary, then his crucifixion.
These are devices that help bring you closer to Jesus. Answer me this: where in the Bible does it say you are allowed to use a computer to spread the word of God?
@SeptemberCatholic18 praying to mary is wrong. show me somebody praying the rosary in the bible. or saying the hail mary prayer. you can't because it is not there. regardless of what is said by them outwardly, they take part in all of these things that are hellish in nature. recite the st michael the arch angel prayer or the prayer to the saint that supposedly helps you find lost items. this is the way of error. correct yourselves before it's too late.
@SeptemberCatholic18 100 i''m not watching ur video. tell me the scripture and i'll look it up. and didn't u just a few comments ago say that u do honor the saints? and if u have a prayer to michael the arch angel and u say it while holding onto your st michael the archangel necklace or whatever u use to get "closer to god" as, u said, then isn't that exactly what the first commandment tells us not to do. what is the hail mary if not a prayer to mary to watch over u?
@SeptemberCatholic18 100 i''m not watching ur video. tell me the scripture and i'll look it up. and didn't u just a few comments ago say that u do honor the saints? and if u have a prayer to michael the arch angel and u say it while holding onto your st michael the archangel necklace or whatever u use to get "closer to god" as, u said, then isn't that exactly what the first commandment tells us not to do. what is the hail mary if not a prayer to mary to watch over u?
You have it wrong. No physical object directly brings you closer to God. It the prayer in good faith, with all sincerity that brings you closer. Prayer is a conversation with God, so when you speak with God, you grow closer in him.
It's much more than just the Scriptures. You must listen to the way I connect them and present them. If you're not willing to do that, then I 'm sorry for you. Sincere seekers of truth investigate these matters.
@SeptemberCatholic18 you are the one who said that you prayed the rosary and it brought u closer to the messiah in that moment.......at the end u said and i quote "these are devices that bring u closer to jesus". Y are u now trying to change the story. and satan himself can twist scripture to suit his needs. all u have to do is read. u dont see any of the things u guys do in the bible except when they are being condemned. i have investigated. read the bible for myself
@dawatcha100 I never denied that the Rosary can bring you closer to God. I said that the physical beads do not directly bring you closer. Rather, it is the devotion, the prayer, and the love which brings you closer to God. The Rosary beads are simply to keep track of the prayers and focus on holy things, but beyond that, the physical beads do nothing.
@dawatcha100 I explain the Rosary in the video. It is a 20 minute devotion, focusing on the works and wonders of Jesus, as well as the blessedness of Mary. We ask Mary to pray for us, which is biblical since Paul tells us that we should pray for one another (1 Tim 2:1) and John says that people in heaven can interact with prayers (Rev 5:8).
Venerate here is used in the sense that the images are given a higher level of respect than ordinary images. It does not mean that we pay honor to the image in it of itself.
In other words, we a greater respect for the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe than we do the photo of me on the couch last Easter.
Veneration of the saints is different because we give honor for the lives these great people lived for Jesus. Yet the only veneration given to something in it of itself is God.
@mystical2k9 the first commandment is: Exodus 20:4-5 4 You shall not make for yourself an idol, whether in the form of anything that is in heaven above, or that is on the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. 5 You shall not bow down to them OR worship them; for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, punishing children for the iniquity of parents, to the third and the fourth generation of those who reject me. Don't be misled brother
@mystical2k9 it is wrong to use statues or anything like that in your worship or prayers. you can read that in the bible. don't look to this guy or any other guy for answers. they are already there in the scripture. it condemns almost all of the acts of the catholic church and most of christianity. i'm not trying to get you to believe what i believe but to study for yourself and pray to the FATHER for guidance. don't be misled by something so easy to disprove. it's all in the book.
I think you are the one who needs to read the Bible more closely. There are several verses in Scripture where statues are used in prayer to the true God.
@SeptemberCatholic18 tell me what the first commandment is.............Exodus 20:4-5 4 You shall not make for yourself an idol, whether in the form of anything that is in heaven above, or that is on the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. 5 You shall not bow down to them OR worship them; for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, punishing children for the iniquity of parents, to the third and the fourth generation of those who reject me. Do you dispute the word of GOD?
"The veneration of sacred images is based on the mystery of the Incarnation of the Word of God. It is not contrary to the first commandment." --Catechism of the Catholic Church, pt 3 article 1, section 2141
Jesus said it cleary God is Spirit, so when we pray If we are saved we should be able to sense God Spirit when we pray. There is no need to pray, sing,or bow to anything that is not GOD.
The Catholic Church condemns praying to statues or inanimate objects, and it anathematizes anyone who insists.
That goes for singing and bowing. It is okay to pray, sing, and bow in front of a statue, as long as the statue is not the recipient of such honor.
Remember, Moses put up the bronze snake in the dessert to glorify God, and only when the people started turning their focus onto the statue was it torn down to prevent further idolatry.
Face it. These people know very well what was said above. They choose to ignore it. It gives them an excuse to post on you tube. That's about it. Why even respond, it's so ridiculous?
I saw the idol worship up close in Ecuador. The scriptures read that Jesus Christ is the only advocate between us and the father. The only middle man yet many folks pray to saints? Its confusing to say the least. Is it okay to honor and praise those folks for living an honorable life? Absolutely not! Worship? Hold them up to the level of God in importance? Absolutely not.
Ought we to move towards saint-hood while in this life? Christ demands it!
There should not have been idol worship in Ecuador by Catholics, and if there was, then they are violating the laws of God and the Church.
The Scriptures do tell us to honor and respect those who deserve it (Rom 13:7). They also tell us to intercede in prayer with each other (1 Tim 2:1). 1 Timothy 2:5 is a reference to the sacrifice of Christ, not intercessory prayer.
Actually, the scriptures describe Jesus as the only mediator, not the only advocate. And a mediator is a person acting as a neutral 3rd party to resolve a dispute - like a referee in a sporting event or a judge in a trial. And on that we agree - Jesus is the only one who can act as a neutral 3rd party between us and God. Scripture, however, does not describe him as the only advocate or only intercessor.
No, I'm pretty sure I even addressed Exodus 20 which is always quoted against Catholics. I gave the true interpretation of those verses.
Further, if "tomato" is that Catholics worship idols and "tamato" is that Catholics do not worship idols, then you are seriously confused and perhaps need to learn how to use that cliche correctly.
SC18 has laid down his challenge for what it takes to make the claim of idol worship. Can you meet the criteria that he listed or prove the criteria flawed?
Just claiming that SC18 is teaching heresy doesn't work. Follow through with a train of thought which supports your claim. The video offers a well thought argument. I challenge you to do the same.
but you should send missionaries down to South American and teach them this because they actually TELL me that they are praying to their IDOLS... Ecuador to be precise.
My cousins are Mormon. Andres went to Argentina for two years and Braulio went to Florida for two years also.
You are right. There are some Catholics who make the mistake of thinking that the Church teaches we should worship or pray to idols. These people must be corrected IMMEDIATELY of what the Church really does teach.
They are kind of like "Fundamentalist Mormons" that still practice polygamy in America even though the Church of LDS has reiterated that we must follow the laws of the land.
To Prohet Ray: the bible says the "those who die and are found expecting shall be left wanting" Trust me on this, you have to earn your salvation and when we die it is not the works or amount of time spent doing them but WITH THE LOVE WITH WHICH WE DID THEM that we will be judged by.
i think the prob with catholics isnt there statues but mainly the lack of wut god really requires from his word. im just saying most of my catholic friends dont read the bible. not saying u dont read but
the bible is all we have as christians to kno why we are wut we are and wut we are supposed to do. i kno they have there meanings but we are all the apostles if we follow christ, so wheres my statue?
First of all, no one needs a statue. Statues are simply ways of commemorating exceptionally remarkable saints, and setting them up as role models for other people. Though we do not need them, they certainly help.
I think it is sad that we find any people at all who don't read the Bible. All Catholics are encouraged by the Church to venerate Scripture as we venerate the Body of Christ. We are urged to read from the Word daily, and live by it. A devout Catholic reads Scripture often.
Catholics who tend to their Faith read aloud the Liturgy of the Hours at least twice per day; that is, once at dawn and again at dusk.
Additionally, and commendibly, we read at Night Prayer, Mid-Day Prayer, and the several other Minor Offices of Prayer throughout the course of daily life of being a Catholic.
When all is said and done many Catholics read the Bible, in a structured manner, at least seven times daily.
The Liturgy of the Hours has been continuous for about 3,000 years.
What do i mean when i say listen with your eyes? if ask God to show you what the real Church is and that same day someone invites you to a Christian Church then you have your answer. Don't harden your heart.
Mabe just mabe you should really just once ask God to tell you what is the real Church of God is and actualy listen with your eyes and heart when he answers you. Then finally you will find God.
Look man do whatever you want to do. Peter was not the first Pope of the Catholic Church, look it up, Constantine was the first Pope. He was the first to mix Christanty and Paganism togethier which is know as The Catholic Church today. If want to look it up according to non buyis History books. If History books which have nothing to gain by not telling the truth, can't make you see your wrong then I don't know what to tell you.
All unbiased historical books I have ever read on this subject confirm what I currently believe. And by the way, Constantine was never a pope. He wasn't even a bishop or a priest. Plus, there were 32 popes before Constantine, so he could not have been the first pope.
I have made several videos providing the Scriptural basis for Peter being the first pope. Soon my website will be published which will go into further detail on the subject.
I have never had a hardened heart. I am always very open minded and I pray daily for God to guide me according to his will and not mine.
However, I have read the Bible too many times to leave the Catholic Church. God has revealed me the truth, and Scripture has confirmed that truth for me over and over. It is impossible for me to leave the Church because I am 100% certain that it is the truth. This is what Jesus Christ intended for me.
Look man I wanted to I was thinking alot about what we were talking about in the last fews days. When I was Saved I trusted Jesus to save me , not anyone else. It just does not add up to me becuase I have never seen anything in the New Testament or in the Bible thats says we need to pray or belive in any other name But Jesus to be saved. But if you feel a need to do what you wnat to do, then just do, but don't lie to me or yourself that you don't worship something that is not God.
I am, not lying to anyone. I would rather suffer the worst punishment on earth than worship anything besides the True Lord.
Here is your problem: to you, worship is just praying, singing, and praising. But to Catholics, worship of God is so much more! We participate with him in the Eucharist, we receive his grace in the Sacraments, we come closer to him in our devotions, ect.
No other saint comes CLOSE to receiving that much honor by Catholics. Not even Mary. God is at the top for us.
Haha, nice. You've reduced to insults and typing all-caps. Now that you've decided to play by kindergarten playground tactics, I'll withdraw from this conversation which quickly became nonsense with that last comment.
I will simply point out that all of my arguments still stand, since there was no attack on my exegesis or position in that last comment by you.
Oh the insults get more juvenile! Goodie. What's next? Dummy? Poop face? Don't be shy, I can take the elementary school insults.
I'm sure you won't listen, but we do not worship Mary, we merely venerate her. The Catholic Church is not of the devil. We help more people all over the world than anyone else with medical, financial, emotional, and spiritual aid. You just make fun of people.
Yes, veneration can mean worship, but if you notice, it is not necessarily worship. Worship is the third definition listed, meaning it is the least likely meaning of the word.
When Catholics say that we venerate Mary, we mean that we look upon her with great awe and respect, but definition 2 and 3 do not fit the description of what we mean by veneration of Mary. Definitions 2 and 3 go too far in that respect. We keep things in perspective; she is infinitely below God, and only God is worshiped.
Chapter 17 Of Revelation vr 4 The woman (which a women in prophesy is always a religion) arrayed Purple and sarlet and precious stone and pearls. The only major reigion in the World (Revelation 17 vr 1 she sits on many waters) who is arrayed in this way is the Cathoilc Church. On her forehead is written Mystery Babylon the great, Mother of whores and the abominations of the Earth. The popes used to have the words Mystery on the royal head rests. How can you not see that is the CATHOLIC CHURCH?
Ok so let me ask you this: in Revelation Chapter 17 who is the The Great Prostitute of Babylon? God hates Babylon for it is a Religion that worships the Sun, Moon, Fish, etc. Thus just about anything expect God. Who is the Bible talking about? Remmeber it has to be a Great Religion that covers the Earth in the End times, which we are in now.
I don't agree with your premise. It doesn't have to be a religion. Also, I believe we have been in the end times since Jesus ascended into heaven, so it just has to have existed in between then and now.
I believe the whore was the pagan Roman Empire of John's time. Not only does it fit the description perfectly, but the Roman Empire was actually called "Babylon" by the Jews as a code name! They heavily associated the Roman Empire with Babylon.
I don't agree with your premise. It doesn't have to be a religion. Also, I believe we have been in the end times since Jesus ascended into heaven (this view is called amillennialism), so the whore just had to have exited between then and now.
I believe that the whore was the pagan Roman Empire of John's time. Not only does it fit the criteria perfectly, but the Roman Empire was actually called "Babylon" by the Jews as a code name! They heavily associated the Roman Empire with Babylon.
Most of what you've been spouting consists of misconceptions an flawed logic. Don't insult the scholastic world by calling your claims "facts."
In fact, the claims that I'm making are indeed facts that you can look on anywhere. Even places like Wikipedia can provide you a layman's summary of the information I'm giving you. Most of what I've been saying is accepted by scholars across the board.
I watched it. It's anti-Catholic propaganda at its finest. The whole pagan-Catholic connection argument is getting old, and frankly, I'm starting to consider anyone who uses it a joke.
1. Even if the pope said that, he would be wrong, and that is that. It would not mean that the Catholic Church is false, only that some pope made an erroneous statement.
2. I don't think the pope said that in the context you are assuming. Rather, he likely meant only that he serves as a representative for Christ, as the Church teaches. He is a steward for the King as the Old Testament portrays; similar to Isaiah 22:22. (Stewards would represent the king when he was absent in biblical times).
One last thing Remember the truth never Changes. Romans Cp5 vr 1 Faith in Christ gives us peace with God. Romans Cp 10 vr 13 whoever calls on the name of the Lord Jesus will be saved. The Catholic Church is a lie it can not save you. Only Jesus can save you. You Can't tell me the Catholic church was the first church becuase its a total condiction of Jesus teachings , and does not add up to what the Apostles words.
I don't have to convince you that the Catholic Church was the first Church. Historical evidence has already proved that for me.
The oldest evidence of the Catholic Church dates back to 80 AD (old liturgical pamphlets), around the time that the apostles would have reached the end of their lives. No other church can even touch 80 AD; most of them popped up over time, usually after the 16th century.
I guess your blind to my point, A CHURCH CAN NOT SAVE YOU! ONLY JESUS CAN! and the BIBLE BACKS THIS UP! The people of Jesus time weren't waiting for a new Church to save them they were waiting for a Messiah the son of God to come and tell them what they had to do to go to Heaven. You see your " Blessed Church" in the Bible I see MY LORD ,MY SAVIOUR, MY GOD IN THE BIBLE. I don't care if you go to Pagan Church that worships Fish, Animals, and the sun. Thats your sin. YOUR GOING TO ANSWER TO GOD
YOU KEEP POINTING TO A CHURCH THAT IS BASED ON PAGAN WORSHIP! THE CHURCH OF BABYLON! LOOK IT UP! ITS IN HISTORY BOOKS, LOOK IT UP! IF YOU DON'T BELIVE ME LOOK IT! READ IT WITH YOUR OWN EYES! OR JUST WATCH THIS VIDEO HERE ON YOUTUBE! ITS CALLED "THE CATHOLIC CHURCH EXPOSED" THERES SIX PARTS TO WATCH THEM! AND THEN COME AND TELL ME YOUR CHURCH ISN'T A PAGAN CHURCH!
Woah, calm down, buddy. Take a deep breath, drink some water, and undo caps lock.
I'm not arguing that the Church apart from Christ will save me. Jesus Christ is the only one who can save us, as you said yourself. However, if you read Colossians 1:18,24, you will see that the Church is the body of Christ, and 1 Timothy 3:15 says that it is the pillar and foundation of truth.
So clearly the Church matters a lot because it represents Christ. Christ loves his Church and actively works through it.
Its werid that it looks ,sounds, feels like worship but its not WORSHIP? its just Honnoring man made wood, and rocks. If you don't feel the Chains of sin on your life then must not have God in your life. Not the true and Living God.
A car can become an idol if you center your life on that. I'm a bodybuilder and I used to be vain, so my body was my idol.
Money is the biggest idol that we know in our society. Catholics don't have any idols. Statues are just that statues not idols. They are like pictures.
Even God in Exodus 25 commanded his people to create a couple of 5' tall Seraphim statues. He commanded his people to create an ark made out of gold..now is that idol?
You know i'm not here to convert Catholics to Christains. So if do not want to repent of your lies thats your sin you will pay for your self when you face Jesus face to face.
That's man made church. That is not the church Jesus established. Remember Jesus only established one church. He only has one body and he only gave one key to his Apostle guide his church.
Protestants should ashame of themselves for creating what 52,000 different denomination now all over the world. In the USA there's 20,000. So which church is truthful here?
You need to come home to the real church of Jesus Christ.
We as human have a need to worship and the church we go to does not tell the truth that salvation comes when we Accpect Jesus Christ thourgh Faith as our saviour then you never find the presance of God in your life, thus you end up confused and need to replace God with a god of rock or wood to fill that need to worship.I grew Catholic But never worshiped Idols or said the hail Mary i was told to WHY? because i knew God was real in my Heart and not some piece of stone or a Women. Trust Jesus alone
Prophet, you're being ridiculous; Catholics do not worship rocks or wood. We worship God alone.
It DOES matter which Church you go to because the Bible says that Jesus built one Church (Matthew 16:18), and 1 Timothy 3:15 says that this Church is the House of God and the pillar & foundation of truth.
Colossians 1:18,24 says that the Church is the body of Christ; therefore to be part of Christ is to be part of his true Church.
I want to be part of the true Church, the body of Christ!
No no..there's no salvation outside the Catholic Church.
That's why I converted. Protestant church that you go too have been founded by man. It is not the church that Christ founded and handed over to Peter to care for it.
Plus Protestant churches lack the true meaning of Christ body and blood. Except for a few protestant churches such as the Anglicans who kept the lineage of Apostolic succession.
Prophet, if you read your Bible, you will see that the Church IS the body of Christ (Col 1:18,24). Therefore, if you are outside of the Church, you are outside of Christ. Remember, the Church is the pillar and foundation of truth (1 Tim 3:15).
Catholic Church is the only church that Jesus est. Religion is not a god BTW.
There's only 3 types of denomination in christianity: Roman Catholism, Christian Orthodox, & Protestant.
Roman & Orthodox are pretty much the same w/ some minor differences in doctrine & because of that they broke away from Roman Catholism in the 5ce. But Apostolic succession continues on from them. Protestant started 16ce by Martin Luther & it keeps on breaking into different denomination till we now have 52k
Only a few Protestant denomination have Apostolic succession like the Anglicans.
So instead of Martin Luther fixing what was wrong w/ the church he went ahead and started his own church. But in the end Martin Luther say what he did because there were over 20 different denomination before he died & confessed what he did was wrong.
What's your Protestant denomination? so I can debate you according to your church affliation.
I'm making myself plain, I used to be a born again.
I didn't erase everything. I only erased some of it because you were taking up too much room with all your posts. I left the ones that had the greatest substance, but I addressed everything you said.
Wrong, Catholics do not believe we can save ourselves through good works. We believe in GRACE ALONE, as Acts15:11 teaches. Only God can save you, and we must cooperate with his saving grace.
If you belive in "Grace alone" then your wrong what does Romans Cp5 vr1 Say? Being made right in the sight of God by FAITH IN WHTA JESUS DID FOR US ON THE CROSS WE NOW HAVE PEACE WITH GOD. tHE GRACE YOUR TAKING ABOUT ARE WORKS.
Prophet, you are so ignorant of Scripture. Do you not know that faith and good works come from the grace of God? Acts 15:11 says that we are saved by grace.
Grace is the foundation for things like faith and good works. In other words, we can do neither of them without God's grace.
We are saved by grace (Acts 15:11; Eph 2:8) through faith (Eph 2:8) and good works (James 2:18,24; Eph 2:10). This is all straight from the Bible.
One question remains what is the Second Commandment? DO NOT MAKE ANY gods BEFORE ME. That means any kind of formed living or dead thing. That inculdes People, animals,or things God has made.
Most Catholics do Worship Idols, what your tryin to say is" it only looks like worship but its not" right? If it looks like a duck, sounds like a Duck, smells like a Duck? then it a Duck. Just read Catholics books they allmost all talk about false teachings such as salvation being works and Mary can pray for us. Thats a lie. Stop lieing to yourself and others.
I'm sorry that you are shallow enough to merely judge things by their appearances. The whole duck thing was cute, but try this one: don't judge a book by its cover.
Catholics do NOT teach that salvation is by works, nor do we worship idols. Someone who worships idols is not allowed to be Catholic. We place NO false gods before the true God.
Catholics believe that we are saved by grace (Acts 15:11) through faith (Eph 2:8) and good works (James 2:18,24; Eph 2:10). Straight from the Bible.
Once again, no we don't. I bet you didn't even watch this video series. Unless you prove your statements, I will ask you to stop posing your unwarranted ramblings here.
No, worship and veneration are not synonymous. Veneration is a type of honor given to somebody holy while worship is the type of honor given to God alone. All the saints are venerated along with Mary; God alone is worshiped.
"And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it" Jesus, Matthew 16:18
Jesus Christ founded a single church which would serve as the House of God, the pillar and foundation of truth (1 Tim 3:15). God's wisdom is revealed through this church (Eph 3:10), the body of Jesus Christ (Col 1:18).
May the gates of hell never prevail against it, and may we glorify God forever. It is right to give him thanks and praise!
God doesn't want anything before him, no praying to angels, dead people, or whatever. No praising Mary. Just him. Geese seems like you guys have a lot of idols! The priests are not elders. The elders are the most spirit filled believers. Making the assumption that praising the dead is ok is wrong. Give honour where it is due. In his time Peter was due honour. The continues praising is worship. Your idolizing what they did!
We do not worship anyone but God, so don't worry: there is no idolatry going in in the Catholic Church. We specifically condemn idolatry in our Catechism of the Catholic Church.
The priests are elders. In Greek, the word for "elder" and "priest" are the same! That means the Bible-writers who wrote in Greek wanted us to know that the elders were the priests.
The Bible tells us to pray on behalf of the dead (2 Mac. 12) but your leader Martin Luther ripped that part out of the Bible in the 1600s.
Worship isn't worship unless we believe that the person is God. We don't believe that Peter is God, so no matter what you say or think, we aren't worshiping him. You are redefining the word worship to meet your anti-Catholic agenda.
The Bible doesn't say "give honor to where honor is due, unless of course they die." It just says to give honor. Stop adding words to Scripture. And stop taking words out like Martin Luther did when he took out 7 books he didn't like, even though they were inspired.
Awesome!!! There is an angry protestant that keeps trying to "convert" me! I sent them this vid. Keep up the great work on defending Our Faith to the protesters! The Gates of Hell shall not prevail against thee!
However, I'm afraid I cannot make any new videos for a while. I started going back to school a week ago and I'm bogged down with courses and homework. When I get a chance, I'll start up again.
As for the answer to your questions:
2. The Church allows the taking of a life if it is in self-defense (or if the war is being fought for noble causes).
1. Eating meat is fine. The Church hasn't said anything about marijuana, but obey the laws.
i'm going to tell you a secret my friend. please go to your church and try to be active in any prayer meeting, LSS Renewal, or any praise and worship, while you read the scripture of Jesus. So that you'll know the truth and you can defend your faith in God. Also you'll belief in Cathesicm
Excellent explanation! I'm a Proud Catholic! we need more people like you to dispel the disinformation that many Protestants have been taught as fact.I'm always telling my Protestant friends "go back to the origins the beginning you'll find the truth".Thanx again! god Bless......
Good videos but we should remember that the Eastern Orthodox Church basically believes in the same things as the Roman Catholic Church and they too condone the worship of statues

You have made your point that what you do is not worship. But you fail to give scripture where in the bible we are to make statues AT ALL of "saints" and honor them by kneeling. In the bible its refers to that person being physically in the presence of that individual, thus giving them honor with their presence.
freright123 1 year ago
@freright123 Here are several verses where God commands statues or images to be made: Exodus 25:18-22; 26:1,31; Numbers 21:8-9; 1 Kings 6:23-36; 7:27-39; 8:6-8; 1 Chronicles 28:18-19; 2 Chronicles 3:7-14; Ezekiel 41:15.
SeptemberCatholic18 1 year ago
@SeptemberCatholic18 yes I read them. exodus, refers to the ark of the covenant. whic was an indwelling of God himself. That cannot be matched to building a human statue. This was refferring to the tabernacle plan, not the plan of the church today. As for the serpent. GOD COMMANDED, not the thought and reverance of a man, To biuld the serpent. it had a purpose. A statue of a saint holds no biblical purpose. Im sorry brother none these verses depicts a statue of MANKIND, but of creatures.
freright123 1 year ago
@freright123 Humans are creatures. The fact is, God commanded statues and images of creatures to be made. God is NOT against statues and images, he is against people worshiping them like the Israelites did to the golden calf in the desert. You need to read Exodus in context.
SeptemberCatholic18 1 year ago
@SeptemberCatholic18 No, I did read in context. Just grasp the understanding please brother. Humans are indeed creatures, but even the lions and palm trees arent honored as the statues of the saints are. you still didnt give me scripture pertaining to whether statues of saints are biblical or not. What did the palm tree do to deserve recognition for?
freright123 1 year ago
@freright123 I gave you Scripture that shoes God isn't against statues and images as long as they aren't worshiped. That's all we need. Statues are not honored, so you're wrong that animals aren't as honored as statues. Look, Romans 13:7 says to honor all those who deserve honor; I'm doing my task from God.
SeptemberCatholic18 1 year ago
@SeptemberCatholic18 no. your wrong. Your point of having a statue in the first place is to express your honor to what theyve done. give honor where honor is due. that is your point correct? 5:46-55 of video. "Statues are not honored," so yes my argument of how animals can be as honorable as a saint is a relevant argument. Because those scriptures do not condone the sculpting of saints to give honor to them. that was a man-made idea. because no where in the bible it says to sculpt saints.
freright123 1 year ago
@freright123 I'm not sure what you're saying, and I don't think you fully understand. A statue is not honored. We honor the saints, as Romans 13:7 says, and obviously people are more honorable than animals (Luke 12:6-7; Matt 12:12).
I think the real point is that the Bible never forbids statues of saints. It only forbids statues that are worshipped. You don't always need the Bible to say what is okay. The Bible never says you can use a computer. As long as the Bible does not forbid it.
SeptemberCatholic18 1 year ago
@SeptemberCatholic18 u compared your act of bowing to an idol as that of bowing to an audience, these have 2 totally diff meanings. being that you are on the religious arena, not a theatre arena, there are many scriptures that refer bowing as an act of worship. That can not be your excuse for making images of saints"You don't always need the Bible to say what is okay"
also I've always wanted to know where in scripture it says that mary and saints intercede on our behalf, an use of rosary beads
freright123 1 year ago
@freright123 Um...bowing is not always worship as seen in Genesis 19:1, Genesis 42:6, and 1 Samuel 28:14. Bowing is only worship if you mean it to be worship. You have no Scripture on which to condemn the use of statues and images; you are falsely shifting the burden of proof on me.
As for the questions on Mary, the saints, and the Rosary, I have made videos on all of those. I recommend you watch those videos for all your questions there.

Do you dispute the word of GOD?
dawatcha100 1 year ago

I am a fellow servant of yours and of your brethren the prophets and of those who heed the words of this book. Worship God." not even supposed to worship at the feet of angels
dawatcha100 1 year ago
@dawatcha100
You clearly lack awareness of what Catholics believe. We do not worship angels or people! We only worship God. There is a difference between asking people to pray for you and worshiping them!
SeptemberCatholic18 1 year ago
i heard a catholic priest on an interview on the channel dedicated to that sort of thing and he said that he was more comfortable praying to mary than god because mary has a human side. so he prays to mary and asks her to petition the most high on his behalf. if that is not the way of error in your eyes then i don't know what else to tell u.
dawatcha100 1 year ago
@dawatcha100
Prayer is the device.
SeptemberCatholic18 1 year ago
@SeptemberCatholic18 why is it more beneficial to pray to mary and god and not just god? is he not sufficient in his hearing that he can't answer the prayers of his children? i'm asking u what purpose does mary serve in your doctrine that she has somehow become equal to christ and god in ur thought process. even an angel corrected john in revelations 22:8 when he bowed down to worship at his feet. also it says of king david that he is in the ground awaiting judgement day.
dawatcha100 1 year ago

I didn't make any of this up. The Bible says so:

@SeptemberCatholic18 then why do you pray to her if only god is worthy? all your doing is calling it by another name. if you pray to mary and st michael the arch angel, and whatever other people or angels you consider worthy and ask them to do things for you then what is that? now u can't tell me that u don't have a prayer specifically for mary and one also for michael and so on and so forth right?
dawatcha100 1 year ago
@dawatcha100 Catholics, such as I, do pray often directly to God through Jesus, but we also spend time asking Mary to pray on our behalf, and we honor her, just as one of the Ten Commandments tells us to Honor Thy Father & Mother. Mary is the greatest mother, above our earthly mothers, because she was is the Mother of Jesus Christ, our Savior, our hope, our deliverer! And who said Mary is equal to Christ in this? No one.
CameoCorner 1 year ago
Honoring someone is totally different from making statues to them and having prayers to them and bowing down to and kissing them. this is superstition and has nothing to do with the god of truth. The catholic church is the whore of babylon. come out of her or share in her judgements.
dawatcha100 1 year ago
Mary is somewhat of an idol to Catholics In terms of following man and not God."wait I will ask jesus myself to turn the water into wine for i am his mother"...."how be you above any of these that I should do this?"
newactioncoaching 2 years ago
How is honoring Mary wrong? The Bible says in Romans 13:7 that honoring the honorable is a good thing.
Plus, we are just admiring God's masterpiece. If you were an artist, wouldn't you want your work of art to be admired?
SeptemberCatholic18 2 years ago
where in the bible does it have the rituals associated with these statues..rosarie beads, hail chants, fire from heaven, miracle devices, apperitions, oil bleeding etc... they are pagan rituals and a distraction from the saviour Jesus.
newactioncoaching 2 years ago
No, sir they are not pagan. Look, I just prayed a Rosary this morning and I was brought closer to Jesus in that moment. I was meditating on his time in the garden, then his scourging, then his crowning with thorns, then his journey to Calvary, then his crucifixion.
These are devices that help bring you closer to Jesus. Answer me this: where in the Bible does it say you are allowed to use a computer to spread the word of God?
SeptemberCatholic18 2 years ago
@SeptemberCatholic18 praying to mary is wrong. show me somebody praying the rosary in the bible. or saying the hail mary prayer. you can't because it is not there. regardless of what is said by them outwardly, they take part in all of these things that are hellish in nature. recite the st michael the arch angel prayer or the prayer to the saint that supposedly helps you find lost items. this is the way of error. correct yourselves before it's too late.

@SeptemberCatholic18 recite the rosary
dawatcha100 1 year ago
@dawatcha100 I explain the Rosary in the video. It is a 20 minute devotion, focusing on the works and wonders of Jesus, as well as the blessedness of Mary. We ask Mary to pray for us, which is biblical since Paul tells us that we should pray for one another (1 Tim 2:1) and John says that people in heaven can interact with prayers (Rev 5:8).

Is it wrong to venerate images or statues ? is that giving them a sign of respect since it depicts the person (saint ) ?
mystical2k9 2 years ago
Venerate here is used in the sense that the images are given a higher level of respect than ordinary images. It does not mean that we pay honor to the image in it of itself.
In other words, we a greater respect for the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe than we do the photo of me on the couch last Easter.
Veneration of the saints is different because we give honor for the lives these great people lived for Jesus. Yet the only veneration given to something in it of itself is God.

Jesus said it cleary God is Spirit, so when we pray If we are saved we should be able to sense God Spirit when we pray. There is no need to pray, sing,or bow to anything that is not GOD.
ProphetRay 2 years ago
The Catholic Church condemns praying to statues or inanimate objects, and it anathematizes anyone who insists.
That goes for singing and bowing. It is okay to pray, sing, and bow in front of a statue, as long as the statue is not the recipient of such honor.
Remember, Moses put up the bronze snake in the dessert to glorify God, and only when the people started turning their focus onto the statue was it torn down to prevent further idolatry.

(Romans 16:2)
THELDSLIFE 2 years ago 2
There should not have been idol worship in Ecuador by Catholics, and if there was, then they are violating the laws of God and the Church.
The Scriptures do tell us to honor and respect those who deserve it (Rom 13:7). They also tell us to intercede in prayer with each other (1 Tim 2:1). 1 Timothy 2:5 is a reference to the sacrifice of Christ, not intercessory prayer.
SeptemberCatholic18 2 years ago
Actually, the scriptures describe Jesus as the only mediator, not the only advocate. And a mediator is a person acting as a neutral 3rd party to resolve a dispute - like a referee in a sporting event or a judge in a trial. And on that we agree - Jesus is the only one who can act as a neutral 3rd party between us and God. Scripture, however, does not describe him as the only advocate or only intercessor.

No, I'm pretty sure I even addressed Exodus 20 which is always quoted against Catholics. I gave the true interpretation of those verses.

You are right. There are some Catholics who make the mistake of thinking that the Church teaches we should worship or pray to idols. These people must be corrected IMMEDIATELY of what the Church really does teach.
They are kind of like "Fundamentalist Mormons" that still practice polygamy in America even though the Church of LDS has reiterated that we must follow the laws of the land.

i think the prob with catholics isnt there statues but mainly the lack of wut god really requires from his word. im just saying most of my catholic friends dont read the bible. not saying u dont read but
the bible is all we have as christians to kno why we are wut we are and wut we are supposed to do. i kno they have there meanings but we are all the apostles if we follow christ, so wheres my statue?
i dont need one. and neither does anyone.
everbedurrell 2 years ago
First of all, no one needs a statue. Statues are simply ways of commemorating exceptionally remarkable saints, and setting them up as role models for other people. Though we do not need them, they certainly help.
I think it is sad that we find any people at all who don't read the Bible. All Catholics are encouraged by the Church to venerate Scripture as we venerate the Body of Christ. We are urged to read from the Word daily, and live by it. A devout Catholic reads Scripture often.
SeptemberCatholic18 2 years ago
Catholics who tend to their Faith read aloud the Liturgy of the Hours at least twice per day; that is, once at dawn and again at dusk.
Additionally, and commendibly, we read at Night Prayer, Mid-Day Prayer, and the several other Minor Offices of Prayer throughout the course of daily life of being a Catholic.
When all is said and done many Catholics read the Bible, in a structured manner, at least seven times daily.
The Liturgy of the Hours has been continuous for about 3,000 years.

ProphetRay 2 years ago

SeptemberCatholic18 2 years ago
Stupied kid, keep worshiping your "Mary" or should say ISIS QUEEN OF BABYLON.
ProphetRay 2 years ago
Oh the insults get more juvenile! Goodie. What's next? Dummy? Poop face? Don't be shy, I can take the elementary school insults.
I'm sure you won't listen, but we do not worship Mary, we merely venerate her. The Catholic Church is not of the devil. We help more people all over the world than anyone else with medical, financial, emotional, and spiritual aid. You just make fun of people.
SeptemberCatholic18 2 years ago
Venerate according to the wedsters dictionary :1 to look upon in great awe or respect etc 2 to express total love for something 3 the act of worship
ProphetRay 2 years ago

ProphetRay 2 years ago
Ok so let me ask you this: in Revelation Chapter 17 who is the The Great Prostitute of Babylon? God hates Babylon for it is a Religion that worships the Sun, Moon, Fish, etc. Thus just about anything expect God. Who is the Bible talking about? Remmeber it has to be a Great Religion that covers the Earth in the End times, which we are in now.
ProphetRay 2 years ago
I don't agree with your premise. It doesn't have to be a religion. Also, I believe we have been in the end times since Jesus ascended into heaven, so it just has to have existed in between then and now.
I believe the whore was the pagan Roman Empire of John's time. Not only does it fit the description perfectly, but the Roman Empire was actually called "Babylon" by the Jews as a code name! They heavily associated the Roman Empire with Babylon.

These are FACTS, FACTS THAT CAN BE LOOKED UP!!!!
ProphetRay 2 years ago
Most of what you've been spouting consists of misconceptions an flawed logic. Don't insult the scholastic world by calling your claims "facts."
In fact, the claims that I'm making are indeed facts that you can look on anywhere. Even places like Wikipedia can provide you a layman's summary of the information I'm giving you. Most of what I've been saying is accepted by scholars across the board.

ProphetRay 2 years ago
I watched it. It's anti-Catholic propaganda at its finest. The whole pagan-Catholic connection argument is getting old, and frankly, I'm starting to consider anyone who uses it a joke.
SeptemberCatholic18 2 years ago
Its a JOKE? THAT POPE SAID HE WAS GOD???
ProphetRay 2 years ago
SeptemberCatholic18 2 years ago
One last thing Remember the truth never Changes. Romans Cp5 vr 1 Faith in Christ gives us peace with God. Romans Cp 10 vr 13 whoever calls on the name of the Lord Jesus will be saved. The Catholic Church is a lie it can not save you. Only Jesus can save you. You Can't tell me the Catholic church was the first church becuase its a total condiction of Jesus teachings , and does not add up to what the Apostles words.
ProphetRay 2 years ago
I don't have to convince you that the Catholic Church was the first Church. Historical evidence has already proved that for me.
The oldest evidence of the Catholic Church dates back to 80 AD (old liturgical pamphlets), around the time that the apostles would have reached the end of their lives. No other church can even touch 80 AD; most of them popped up over time, usually after the 16th century.
SeptemberCatholic18 2 years ago
ProphetRay 2 years ago
Not me.
ProphetRay 2 years ago
Woah, calm down, buddy. Take a deep breath, drink some water, and undo caps lock.
I'm not arguing that the Church apart from Christ will save me. Jesus Christ is the only one who can save us, as you said yourself. However, if you read Colossians 1:18,24, you will see that the Church is the body of Christ, and 1 Timothy 3:15 says that it is the pillar and foundation of truth.
So clearly the Church matters a lot because it represents Christ. Christ loves his Church and actively works through it.
SeptemberCatholic18 2 years ago
Its werid that it looks ,sounds, feels like worship but its not WORSHIP? its just Honnoring man made wood, and rocks. If you don't feel the Chains of sin on your life then must not have God in your life. Not the true and Living God.
ProphetRay 2 years ago
You fail to understand what veneration is.
We honor the saints because of the example they left for us and we ask them to pray for us.
You guys ask each other to pray for one another. It's basically the same thing when you ask a saint, except saints are closer to God.
Naturalhit 2 years ago
Worship to me is Singing, praying and bowing to God. If you want to call it something else to cover up the sin of Idol worship that sin is on you.
ProphetRay 2 years ago
Idol means making something greater than God.
Naturalhit 2 years ago
You know i'm not here to convert Catholics to Christains. So if do not want to repent of your lies thats your sin you will pay for your self when you face Jesus face to face.
ProphetRay 2 years ago
Actually your church is a lie.
Naturalhit 2 years ago
We as human have a need to worship and the church we go to does not tell the truth that salvation comes when we Accpect Jesus Christ thourgh Faith as our saviour then you never find the presance of God in your life, thus you end up confused and need to replace God with a god of rock or wood to fill that need to worship.I grew Catholic But never worshiped Idols or said the hail Mary i was told to WHY? because i knew God was real in my Heart and not some piece of stone or a Women. Trust Jesus alone
ProphetRay 2 years ago
Prophet, you're being ridiculous; Catholics do not worship rocks or wood. We worship God alone.
It DOES matter which Church you go to because the Bible says that Jesus built one Church (Matthew 16:18), and 1 Timothy 3:15 says that this Church is the House of God and the pillar & foundation of truth.
Colossians 1:18,24 says that the Church is the body of Christ; therefore to be part of Christ is to be part of his true Church.
I want to be part of the true Church, the body of Christ!
SeptemberCatholic18 2 years ago
Its true what i wrote that no gets saved at Catholic Churchs becuase they mislead people in to thiniking they can save themselfs with good works.
ProphetRay 2 years ago
No no..there's no salvation outside the Catholic Church.
That's why I converted. Protestant church that you go too have been founded by man. It is not the church that Christ founded and handed over to Peter to care for it.
Plus Protestant churches lack the true meaning of Christ body and blood. Except for a few protestant churches such as the Anglicans who kept the lineage of Apostolic succession.
Naturalhit 2 years ago
outside the Catholic Church? Don't you mean Jesus Christ? That why I said your Religion is your god.
ProphetRay 2 years ago
Prophet, if you read your Bible, you will see that the Church IS the body of Christ (Col 1:18,24). Therefore, if you are outside of the Church, you are outside of Christ. Remember, the Church is the pillar and foundation of truth (1 Tim 3:15).
SeptemberCatholic18 2 years ago
Catholic Church is the only church that Jesus est. Religion is not a god BTW.
There's only 3 types of denomination in christianity: Roman Catholism, Christian Orthodox, & Protestant.
Roman & Orthodox are pretty much the same w/ some minor differences in doctrine & because of that they broke away from Roman Catholism in the 5ce. But Apostolic succession continues on from them. Protestant started 16ce by Martin Luther & it keeps on breaking into different denomination till we now have 52k
Naturalhit 2 years ago
continue.
Naturalhit 2 years ago
Why did you erase everything i wrote? BECUASE THE TRUTH HURTS!!! THAT YOU GO TO A FALSE CHURCH??!!!
ProphetRay 2 years ago
I didn't erase everything. I only erased some of it because you were taking up too much room with all your posts. I left the ones that had the greatest substance, but I addressed everything you said.
Wrong, Catholics do not believe we can save ourselves through good works. We believe in GRACE ALONE, as Acts15:11 teaches. Only God can save you, and we must cooperate with his saving grace.
SeptemberCatholic18 2 years ago
I'll help you out buddy. Because I know you are only one person and you got a lot of people who wants to debate you.
I've been a protestant so I know what goes through there heads and what their pastors have taught them.
Naturalhit 2 years ago
My Pastor only taught me to read the Bible. I read the Bible and I don't twist the words.
ProphetRay 2 years ago
And you have to thank the Catholic for it for putting the Bible together.
Beside, your Bible is wrong. It's missing 7 books and God's name is Jehovah instead of Yahweh.
Naturalhit 2 years ago
If you belive in "Grace alone" then your wrong what does Romans Cp5 vr1 Say? Being made right in the sight of God by FAITH IN WHTA JESUS DID FOR US ON THE CROSS WE NOW HAVE PEACE WITH GOD. tHE GRACE YOUR TAKING ABOUT ARE WORKS.
ProphetRay 2 years ago
Prophet, you are so ignorant of Scripture. Do you not know that faith and good works come from the grace of God? Acts 15:11 says that we are saved by grace.
Grace is the foundation for things like faith and good works. In other words, we can do neither of them without God's grace.
We are saved by grace (Acts 15:11; Eph 2:8) through faith (Eph 2:8) and good works (James 2:18,24; Eph 2:10). This is all straight from the Bible.
SeptemberCatholic18 2 years ago
I don't blame him for erasing it. Because this is becoming a full time job for him. Just look at the other videos he put up and try to maintain.
BTW zach or z something doesn't even keep our catholic comments up at all. It is immediately deleted.
Naturalhit 2 years ago
One question remains what is the Second Commandment? DO NOT MAKE ANY gods BEFORE ME. That means any kind of formed living or dead thing. That inculdes People, animals,or things God has made.
ProphetRay 2 years ago
Which one is the god in the Catholic church?
You seem to be misinform by your pastors. I know because I used to be a born again.
I see more Pastor worshipping when I used to be one.
Naturalhit 2 years ago
Most Catholics do Worship Idols, what your tryin to say is" it only looks like worship but its not" right? If it looks like a duck, sounds like a Duck, smells like a Duck? then it a Duck. Just read Catholics books they allmost all talk about false teachings such as salvation being works and Mary can pray for us. Thats a lie. Stop lieing to yourself and others.
ProphetRay 2 years ago

SeptemberCatholic18 2 years ago
but wait dont Catholics give a special venaration to Mary? and isnt a synonym to the word venarate, worship?
mandy32933 2 years ago
No, worship and veneration are not synonymous. Veneration is a type of honor given to somebody holy while worship is the type of honor given to God alone. All the saints are venerated along with Mary; God alone is worshiped.

"And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it" Jesus, Matthew 16:18
WordAmongWords 2 years ago
Jesus Christ founded a single church which would serve as the House of God, the pillar and foundation of truth (1 Tim 3:15). God's wisdom is revealed through this church (Eph 3:10), the body of Jesus Christ (Col 1:18).
May the gates of hell never prevail against it, and may we glorify God forever. It is right to give him thanks and praise!

4) Ask God what they are doing.
Your idolizing what they did!
foofatron 3 years ago
We do not worship anyone but God, so don't worry: there is no idolatry going in in the Catholic Church. We specifically condemn idolatry in our Catechism of the Catholic Church.
The priests are elders. In Greek, the word for "elder" and "priest" are the same! That means the Bible-writers who wrote in Greek wanted us to know that the elders were the priests.
The Bible tells us to pray on behalf of the dead (2 Mac. 12) but your leader Martin Luther ripped that part out of the Bible in the 1600s.
SeptemberCatholic18 3 years ago
Worship isn't worship unless we believe that the person is God. We don't believe that Peter is God, so no matter what you say or think, we aren't worshiping him. You are redefining the word worship to meet your anti-Catholic agenda.
The Bible doesn't say "give honor to where honor is due, unless of course they die." It just says to give honor. Stop adding words to Scripture. And stop taking words out like Martin Luther did when he took out 7 books he didn't like, even though they were inspired.
SeptemberCatholic18 3 years ago
All books in the Bible are truley inspired, some which were rejected by many Christians. But what books did Martin Luther take out?

However, I'm afraid I cannot make any new videos for a while. I started going back to school a week ago and I'm bogged down with courses and homework. When I get a chance, I'll start up again.
As for the answer to your questions:
2. The Church allows the taking of a life if it is in self-defense (or if the war is being fought for noble causes).
1. Eating meat is fine. The Church hasn't said anything about marijuana, but obey the laws.
