cold reading. funny how EVERY 1 of these "psychics" SOUND EXACTLY THE SAME. they talk fast, they never give out the full names of the deceased & if they are "psychic", WHY do they ask questions like, "who is mike?" "does any 1 here know a joe?"? shouldn't mike & joe SAY WHO THEY ARE RELATED TO 2 the "psychic", in stead of the "psychic" playing a guessing game? if you are "psychic", you shouldn't have 2 ask ANY questions, period. THEY should do ALL the talking. the audience should sit SILENT.

This is definitely a cold reading. It is. She is not really communicating with dead people. She's uses techniques that they all use, John Edward, Van Praagh, Slyvia Brown. etc. You can see the common themes and verbal tricks that they use. If I say, "whose the person that had trouble with their heart just before they passed?" Chances are, sure, you'd know someone that had trouble with their heart before they passed. C'mon.

This sounds a lot like cold reading. Notice how the young woman gives her the information. The medium says something to the effect of "I sense an Ellen, Eleonor", gets a hit, and immediately the young woman provides the information by saying that it is her mother's best friend that died around the same time and bingo, the medium claims that it is exactly so. All that the medium got right in this case was a name.

As for her being a 'fraud', you forget one thing: people who have lost loved ones GO TO SEE HER!! Cold-reading CANNOT explain how mediums can give names, dates or personal information that could not be possibly known otherwise. Still, I'm sure you're stupid enough to believe they have some kind of database with all this on and just memorize it!

@wks1978 I have answered it multiple times. It´s just cold reading. They NEVER produce names, only initials or common name as Mike or John. Then, it´s the "readee" that fills in the blank. I attended this public reading because I had a personal reading by Conchetta and I have to say SHE IS AS GOOD AS THEY GET! If you check out her website you can make an appt with her she has quite a wait though my next reading is in 2011 and I made that over a year ago
