Seed Destiny died when the creator decided to abandon Shinn and bring back Kira along with Authrn to make them the protagonist. Killed the story, especially how Shinn should had shot down and killed both of them. In the end Destiny didnt live up to how i thought it would thanks to a woman.

Did you know she wrote Cagalli's character into shit because she taught Fukuda had a crush on her VA. There's a lot more petty shit like that behind the scenes. It was a hack job, filled with melodramatic shit that only women would like. Kira became a perfect aimbot and everyone suddenly sucked. As hard as it is to say, I did enjoy SEED.
@narutoman876 I enjoyed Seed and Seed Destiny but I definetly saw those flaws as well, There is no question about the fact that Destiny had so many flaws that its hard to count all of them. What happened to Cagalli happened to Shinns voice actor as well, Fukuda´s wife was having issued with Shinns Voice Actor so she made the character even harder to like.
I agree that it should have been better but all the creation aside, it was still entertaining and the music was top notch

All the small things were done so perfectly and realistically, like controls, artillery, soldiers, etc, but then the Main characters and their MSs are border line super robot and follow no logic. they hired people to advise them and tell them about real current military technology, and they blew it.
@narutoman876 Well I can agree with that, But the strength of Kira,Athrun and the other main characters was mainly because they were in general a step above others, well Kira was an aimbot because he is an Ultimate Coordinator so it kinda makes sense, Athrun is just well trained and a solid soldier with a powerful machine, Shinn is just vicious which works to his advantage.

But if its the exact same animations just restored in HD then that's a real let down (Like Dragonball Z Kai if you're familiar with that show.) The excessive use of recycled animation was the only thing that brought SEED's quality down towards the end. Do you have a source confirming the movie is completely dead?

Exists so a lazy creator can have an easy way to make his beloved Mary Sue character, having already been stripped of the compelling faults and weaknesses of the previous season, even more invincible than before.
The way you gotta see it is that Shinn was a bad guy. He may not have knew it, or may not have thought so, but he was. ZAFT were the bad guys, along with the Earth Fed. And The first 39 episodes, where Shinn was the protagonist, it was the POV of the bad guys.

Heero vs Zechs: Epyon is a Gundam meant for dueling(No long range weapon) and they had a beam saber duel WITHOUT using their respective ZERO systems(Epyons ZERO system can only be used via the helmet and WZ's cockpit didn't glow gold) And Heero wins against Zechs. Less Epic but just as good.
Your wrong about the Zero Systems, only when the cockpit glows gold does Wz show heero the possible futures he could acheive, same goes with Zechs and the helmet. but at all times the Zero Systems are at work as they are linked directly to the brain of the current pilot, thus always being one step ahead of the pilot himself allowing quicker movements and faster responses.

Gundam Seed and Seed Destiny are complete shit. You know 95% of the material in them is re-used ideas from the original Gundam and Zeta Gundam right? If you want a GOOD Gundam series to watch then go watch the original followed by Zeta and Char's Counter Attack. You can then see how fucking re-hashed Seed and Seed Destiny are.
I love this AMV this rcoks 5/5, good choice of music genre, fit's well with that battle. You had a good balance of showing both Athrun and Kira fighting. Well done it's in my favorites.

@oyametalicusII No.. in the battlefield, the ones who are the most calm and has the longest stamina survives, in a war the fastest runner doesnt win, the one who can run the longest and think calculatively have higher chances of winning a mission, those who are emotional become reckless and get side tracked from the mission and usually are the biggest trouble makers in the team.. a real soldier only engage when necessary and does what ever it takes to complete the mission and save ammunition..

@oyametalicusII Well if all the battles are completely redrawn and redone to be brought up to the standards of 00 Gundam or better yet, Gundam Unicorn then we are in for a real treat! But if its the exact same animations just restored in HD then that's a real let down (Like Dragonball Z Kai if you're familiar with that show.) The excessive use of recycled animation was the only thing that brought SEED's quality down towards the end. Do you have a source confirming the movie is completely dead?

The way you gotta see it is that Shinn was a bad guy. He may not have knew it, or may not have thought so, but he was. ZAFT were the bad guys, along with the Earth Fed. And The first 39 episodes, where Shinn was the protagonist, it was the POV of the bad guys.

I'm a Kira fan and I agree that Athrun has the edge in close range plus when you consider their gundams are designed that way to it makes more sense for Kira to be better at ranged combat that close ranged, but thats just wat i think

Amuro vs Char: in CCA The beam saber duel turned into a wrestling match after being disarmed of their beam saber.EPIC
Heero vs Zechs: Epyon is a Gundam meant for dueling(No long range weapon) and they had a beam saber duel WITHOUT using their respective ZERO systems(Epyons ZERO system can only be used via the helmet and WZ's cockpit didn't glow gold) And Heero wins against Zechs. Less Epic but just as good.

Your wrong about the Zero Systems, only when the cockpit glows gold does Wz show heero the possible futures he could acheive, same goes with Zechs and the helmet. but at all times the Zero Systems are at work as they are linked directly to the brain of the current pilot, thus always being one step ahead of the pilot himself allowing quicker movements and faster responses.

And please don't mention the MG manual, the data based on Qan[T] wiping out the ELS was based on data that mentioned that it would've take a week or so to wipe them out, and didn't take into consideration things like pilot fatigue, and the fact that the ELS can regenerate and easily adapt.
