because thats not the engine that came stock in the car. its mostly the higher lift cam. that makes it sound that way

1990-im not sure on what year you can get away without having cats.

legally 1974 was the last year. illegally they all can the cats removed but after 94 when OBD II was added its a PITA, unless you find some way to shut off the CEL for that particular code.

ahhahah, tell your friend that his 5. slow is milla seconds faster then say, a 5.0 camaro, thats because they have nothing 2 them....their like ford escorts with v-8s. the iroc-z with a 350 in could beat a 5.0 slow anyday.
